A/N: So, heyy, I was supposed to update yesterday but fanficiton seemed to be having a breakdown and it wouldn't let me :( ...
So anyway I tried to write this so I didn't give you the persons name until the end, so it maybe a little short, I can't remember how long it is...
But anyway it might be pretty obvious who the person is, considering the end of the last chapter
Sooooooo: favourite, follow, review blah blah blah
Chapter 26: Actually he offered to wake you himself, but since it's 5 a.m., I figured you'd be less cranky if you had something nice to look at
She lets out another small throaty groan. That was all her body could give. Her throat was dry and felt like sandpaper, so that made any real speech impossible. She felt as if she'd been stuck in the desert for days on end, without water, where sandstorms caused billions of grains of sand to consume her body. She tried to choke but she felt as if she didn't have the energy to do even that.
Then there was the pain.
The pain that coursed through every cell in her body, the pain that made her wish to go back into the darkness just to get away from the searing feeling her whole body possessed. Her skin throbbed wherever any material touched it even delicately, she felt as if every nerve in her body was being singed away, leaving a burning feeling to flood her veins.
She screwed her eyes shut, not wanting to move at all in fear of more blinding pain, as it was the only she could try and distract herself from the fire burning her from the inside. She felt tears fall down her face, a soft coolness giving some relief to her face. She let out another strangled scream as she felt the pain pulling her from the darkness which now seemed like bliss.
Damn reality, she thought, ruins everything.
Suddenly, the silence of the outside world falters and she hears, what she thinks is, a door swing open and footsteps fill the room. Where am I?
"She's breathing manually, doctor," Someone, female sounding, says, sounding way too cheery for her liking. "Okay, someone take her blood, we need to see if she can have morphine, her chart looks alright but just to make certain," A male, the doctor she's presuming, says to the woman.
A sharp pain pricks her arm, though she didn't really feel it as it was like a candle to an inferno. And the male doctor says, to what she thinks is directed to her, "It won't be much longer now, stay with me,"
She shuts her eyes tighter than humanly possible and she feels more tears leak down the sides of her face. Other orders were flown around but she couldn't really pay attention to them anymore. Seconds drag on feeling like hours as the pain swims around her soul, wreaking havoc in its wake.
"She's clear," Someone shouted above the noise and she heard a pair of footsteps coming towards her. "Okay you'll feel some discomfort if you try and move your left arm but most of the pain should go," Someone stuck something in her arm and pain shot up it, which made her gasp.
The man continued "You may feel hazy and maybe a bit nauseous but otherwise you should feel better," Slowly, as the morphine flowed through her, all the pain dulled from an inferno to a small flame.
Feeling the loss of pain it made her feel light and slightly giddy and she finally had the courage to slowly lift her eye lids. White filled her vision and after blinking a few time darker shades convinced her she hadn't died.
A few seconds later she saw one of the doctors looming over her, a brown mess of hair shining against the white background. The doctor smiled and said "Welcome back,"
She gave a small smile back and managed to croak out, "It's like I never left," The doctor laughed as the door burst open revealing an Asian man with black sparkly hair that was spiked up and added at least two inches to his height. He was wearing red skinny jeans with a black sleeveless top that had red zebra stripes on in glitter.
"Magnus!" She choked out, which spurred on a coughing fit. The brown haired doctor, who she had to say was pretty cute, passed her a glass of water to which she accepted, graciously. The cute doctor sighed and rolled his eyes but still had a smile on his face and said "Bane, aren't you forgetting something?"
Magnus looked down at himself and swore under his breath and muttered "Damn coat," before then adding "I'll be back in a minute," He rushed out of the room and the cute doctor laughed lightly.
He turned to her and helped her into a sitting position and adjusted the pillows behind her. She tried to refuse his help but then found it was too difficult and painful, even though the morphine was mostly dulling it, to sit up by herself, the cute doctor then happily helped her. With his help it was still a little painful but overall it was easier.
"Okay, so I'm Doctor Fubar and that was Doctor Bane, who I'm guessing you already know, either that or you stalk him" Doctor Fubar said with a smile, to which she snorted and laughed a bit. He continued "He will be doing a few tests on you shortly, with things like memory and any injuries that may have not shown up on x-ray, we also want to check for any nerve damage that could have been caused, do you have any questions?"
"Actually I have quite a few," She smiled as the cute doctor replied "Shoot,"
"Number one, is it weird that I find it creepy that you did tests on me while I was unconscious?" said with a fake questioning look, Dr Fubar smiled and chuckled but actually answered her question saying, "When you put it in that context it may seem weird," he retorted maker her laugh.
"Okay second question, do you know Attack on Titan?" she asked a glint in her eyes. The doctor smiled and sighed saying, "Yes, I do know it, yes my name is 'literally' Bertholdt Fubar, no I don't think I look like him,"
She smiled as the doctor (Bertholdt) did, "I think you do, look like him, a bit, and it's alright we all have our inner character," He laughed and shook his head slightly, smiling. "And what's your inner character?" He said smiling down at her.
She paused and put her finger to her chin in thought "Umm, I don't know; my friend has a thing where he calls me Annie," He then opened his mouth as if to speak but she interrupted saying "Yes, as in Annie Leonhardt,"
The doctor smiled and said "So you're a titan shifter as well," She gasped and shouted, "Spoilers!" covering her ears with her arms. Bertholdt laughed then as she, cautiously, took her arms away from her ears, he said "If anything you don't seem like Annie to me" (A/N: if I haven't said this before Annie is quite cold and mean to most people and can kick serious ass!)
"Oh yeah, who then?" She asked not really knowing what to expect. A light blush fell on his cheeks as he said "Well, from what I've deduced from you, you kind or strike me as Krista," (A/N: If any of you don't know Krista is described as the perfect one: pretty, caring, kind and practically everyone likes her)
She felt her cheeks heat up but she smiled sweetly saying "Uh, thanks but I don't think so," She lowered her head to hide her blush and before either of them could say anything else Magnus walked back in (more like sprung back in, the door nearly came off its hinges!)
"Why does the room have to be so far away, stupid coat, stupid you for making me walk the whole way through the hospital to go and get-" He paused then looking at her, she still had her head lowered and her cheeks were aflame. His head then turned slowly to look at his co-worker who was sat in one of the chairs next to her, looking a bit sheepish and also had a light blush across his cheeks.
"Oh, will you two stop flirting jeez, that's your classic 'I've been flirted with' face," Magnus said pointing to her and she almost choked again. "What face?" She asked almost innocently. "Oh please," Magnus started with a sigh, "It's that face you get whenever someone flirts with you, and I've seen it way too many times not to know what it is,"
She stared, open mouthed, at Magnus and as she was going to speak he interrupted her saying "Honey, don't try and argue your way out of it" She shut up then because with Magnus there was really no point in arguing. "Fine but I was not doing the face," She insisted one last time.
Magnus smiled slightly then said "Yes, you were and one last thing before we start the test, Bertholdt stop flirting with a 17 years old," Bertholdt blushed but looked up at Magnus. "She's like a year younger than me," Bertholdt said matter of factly.
She turned to him "Really, you're 18?" He gave a small chuckle and said "Yeah, this is like work experience apart from the fact they trust me and I'm getting paid" She smiled at this and asked "So do you live near here?"
Before he could answer Magnus interrupted again saying "Okay, jeez do this in your own time, for now work, questions," Magnus lifted the clipboard up and brought his pen down to the paper.
"Right first question, please state your full name," She gave off a mix between a scoff (at the insanely simple question) and a laugh (at the posh accent he was using).
But before she could question these questions about their insane easiness, Bertholdt said to her, "It's just to see if you have any memory loss; long term or short," She sighed then slightly exasperated, she looked over to Bertholdt and he gave her such a sweet, infectious smile that she had to smile back.
"My full name is Crisiant Rhiannon Jones,"
