Camilla paused in her walk through the castle that the group was currently staying in when she heard a familiar violin koto duet. She knew every phrase of the song by now, it was played nearly daily after all. Although the song had no words it spoke of hopes of peaceful times, and of the grief over lost loved ones. It spoke of the small joys of the living. It was truly beautiful.

Camilla was just a little bit sick of it.

She would never dream of saying anything of course. Not to her adorable half sister and her sister in-law. She wouldn't say anything. Not a word. Not even when the song kept Hionka up all night (and effectively preventing Camilla from doing the same for very different reasons.) Not that her wife was exactly willing to 'give it up' when they were in the middle of a war. No matter. Camilla would make her see the joys of bedly pursuits eventually.

"Can't they write a new song already!" a familiar voice raged behind Camilla.

Speak of Devils and they shalt appear. Camilla thought idly, as her wife appeared behind her.

"If you wish them to stop playing, I'm sure all that you would have to do would be to ask them." Camilla offered.

Hinoka looked at her in horror "And kill the brightest lights in our camp? I could never do such a thing!" Hinoka said fiercely. Camilla couldn't help but laugh at her wife's honest face. Putting a fisted hand over her mouth didn't smother her laughter, however, and a smile cracked across Hinoka's beautiful face.

"Have you ever stopped to consider that, when they get married, we will be sisters-in-law as well as wives?" Hinoka asked suddenly.

Camilla stopped laughing, a bemused look on her face. "That is interesting. I'd never thought of that before. I suppose that, not all that long ago, that would make our marriage illegal. Or you could say that, since we're married, that would make them already sisters-in-law and therefore make it impossible to marry.' She mussed out loud.

Hinoka's happy expression turned to one of anger. "Not to long ago we would not be able to marry because we are both women." She spat the word out as though it carried a foul taste upon her tongue. Camilla knew it wasn't the fact that she was a female that angered her wife, but the discrimination shown towards women, and in particular the ridiculous laws supporting heteronormativity. That had only changed relatively recently and it was a wound still felt by many.

"Come now, Hinoka." Camilla purred taking her wife's head, and guiding it to the nook between her neck and her shoulder. "Don't mind the past when we have everything to look forward to in the future." She cooed.

"I swear upon the Dawn dragon, if you try to get me in bed again Camilla…" Hinoka growled, leaving the threat hanging in the air.

"I wouldn't dream of it, my love!" Camilla laughed leading Hinoka away from the door, behind which Sakura and Elise were curiously peeking.

(They're thoughts consisted something along the lines of 'I can't wait until that's us' BTW)

Hope you enjoyed.

Also I would like to give thanks to my friend for continually spamming me with FE screenshots. These characters wouldn't be nearly as accurate if it wasn't for you.
