Wheeljack sighed as he taped his fingers on his console. He had been sitting on the moon for two weeks waiting for Prime's ship. When he had gotten word that other Cybertronians were coming he was a little bit thrilled. He could finally move away from the Rock his ship had been sitting on for the past few years.

However, it had been two weeks since he had last heard news from Cybertron. Something about a Decepticon attack blowing up part of the communications bay. As such, Wheeljack found himself alone, waiting, and bored out of his mind.

"I wonder who's all coming, hopefully Prowl stayed home and let someone else take his place." Wheeljack mumbled to himself. He let out a laugh as an idea crossed his thoughts.

"Maybe they finally changed the laws and it'll be Kup and his team, Bulkhead still owes me a rematch." Wheeljack leaned back with a sigh.

Not much happened this side of the galaxy, he saw a couple of comets whiz by but that was about it. As he looked at his screens he looked around his ship.

"Maybe I should clean this place up if I'm going to be having company over..." He rubbed his chin.

Before Wheeljack could finish his thoughts, the sound of alarms blaring echoed across the ship. At the same time, sending Wheeljack tumbling out of his chair. He looked up at his radar system, showing a large energon signal coming toward the moon.

He stared at the screen and began fiddling with the controls.

"Come on, come on work with me." Wheeljack complained. He tried to get the signal to come in clearer. Unfortunately radar had taken damage from a meteor shower, and Wheeljack still had yet to fix it.

Wheeljack groaned in defeat, all the while watching the signal come closer.

"Well, better roll out the welcome wagon." Wheeljack said cheerfully.

He walked toward a wall full of weapons, prototypes, unfinished designs and some which had been "found" all across the universe. He began grabbing weapons off it, as well as from some scattered Boxes laying everywhere.

Humming merrily as he collected his weapons, Wheeljack sub spaced most of them in case they weren't needed. After a few cycles he felt he had everything and headed for the airlock. Slamming his fist into the button on the wall, the airlock slid open, rust flaking off it.

Wheeljack stepped out onto the lunar surface, looking around sharply. His left arm's armor slid open, and he pressed several buttons on the reveled control panel. As he turned back, his ship flickered and vanished.

Satisfied that his ship was fully cloaked, Wheeljack turned and began to walk across the lunar surface. His optics peered into the darkness around him, trying to find a sign of the ship he detected.

Wheeljack stood there for a few moments, peering into the blackness. Wheeljack tapped his foot impatiently as he waited.

He pulled out a device and activated it. It was an energon scanner, and he saw the same large signal, almost directly atop him. Wheeljack glanced upwards, and then froze.

Hovering above him was a Decepticon Warship, Nemesis class. Wheeljack's energon scanner fell from his fingers as he stared at the warship.

"...Well I'm scrapped." Wheeljack muttered.

On the bridge of the Nemesis, Megatron sat in a throne custom built for him. A grin spreading across his face as he looked at the planet below. After all the years of waiting, he would finally have the key to victory over the Autobots.

Around him on the ships bridge, were groups of Vehicons, along with Blackout, Soundwave, and Barricade. Blackout stood in one corner, watching everyone work and ready in case he was needed.

Soundwave sat at a computer terminal watching over the ships functions. As well as listening in on all the com chatter.

Barricade had resigned himself to standing next to the window and starring off into the blackness of space. Megatron didn't really care as long as he wasn't causing too many problems.

After a long voyage and years of planning, victory was in his grasp. Unfortunately at that moment, Barricade happened to glace down at the moon.

"Hey, that looks like an Autobot down there!" exclaimed Barricade. Megatron whipped around, glaring at him. He couldn't believe that Barricade thought it a good idea to pull such a stunt.

Soundwave pulled up the security cameras for the ship, before turning back toward Megatron.

"Barricade is correct, Autobot sighting is confirmed." Soundwave droned.

Tapping a few keys, Soundwave projected the image of Wheeljack on the Nemesis's monitors. Megatron's frown became a scowl at the sight of Wheeljack. The Autobots had already followed him here? Had Hailstorm failed his mission in keeping their ship from launching?

Megatron didn't have time to dwell on those thoughts when he heard Soundwave speak up.

"Suggested course of action Lord Megatron?" Soundwave asked.

Megatron snapped out of his thoughts and looked around, all optics were on him. His scowled, looking toward the image of Wheeljack.

"Fire the main guns and blow that Autobot off the face of this moon." He hissed.

Soundwave turned back, opening up a new screen that showed an outline of the ship. Soundwave rapidly tapped several areas on the ship, which began to light up quickly.

"Powering up main turrets.

Down below, Wheeljack hadn't made a move since the ship appeared. He had been silently praying to Primus that the cons hadn't noticed him, or were thinking that he was a very minor threat.

Unfortunately said prayers fell on deaf audio receptors as several panels on the ship began to slide open, reveling a row of large turrets

"Oh frag me." Wheeljack muttered.

The turrets began to whine and started opening fire at the Autobot. Wheeljack yelped and jumped aside as the laser fire began to make large craters in the surface. Wheeljack somersaulted backwards, using the zero gravity to his advantage.

Shifting his right arm, Wheeljack slide out a gun and took a shot at one of the turrets. The blast struck the turret and left a burn mark...and almost nothing else. Wheeljack hit the ground and rolled as the turrets began pounding the area around him.

Jumping upwards, Wheeljack opened fire yet again at the turrets. However this time a laser blast struck him dead center.

Wheeljack sailed backwards before slamming into a rock face. He slid to the ground with a moan while looking himself over. His chest armor had taken the brunt of the damage, literally burnt.

Wheeljack staggered to his feet and looked up. The turrets were powering up again. A determined look came across Wheeljack's face. He charged forward before throwing himself to the ground as the turrets fired another volley.

As the dust flew everywhere, Wheeljack transformed into his altmode. A cybertronian speedster and raced toward the Nemesis.

"What the heck is that Autobots malfunction?" Barricade sneered as he and Blackout watched Wheeljack drive toward the ship

"That blast must have knocked some of his screws loose." Barricade grumbled as Wheeljack drew nearer. "That's Autobot is attempting suicide."

Megatron however didn't care for what Wheeljack was doing. But rather he cared that Wheeljack was still online.

"Soundwave, are you even aiming those turrets, destroy him!" Megatron barked. Soundwave looked back at Megatron with a small glare. He turned back to the gun controls and began trying to target Wheeljack.

Wheeljack threw on his thrust as the turret fire began flying more and more rapidly. He began racing for the turrets even faster. He transformed as shots came down all around him.

Wheeljack jumped upwards before whipping out something from his subspace. Two grenades, he activated them both and hurled them toward the under belly of the ship. Wheeljack fell back to the surface, landing hard onto his back.

"Okay, maybe that wasn't the best move I could have made." he grumbled as the tu8rrets all swiveled around to shoot at him.

However, Wheeljack's grenades went unnoticed as they floated toward the ship.

Two large explosions shook the Nemesis as the grenades went off, one of them right next to a turret. Said turret also expounded in a shower of parts and shrapnel. As the remains of the turret twisted and fell off its mounding, Wheeljack transformed and began to drive off.

Wheeljack began to head for where his ship was, hoping that he could reach there before the Decepticons launched another attack on him.

However as he kept driving, he didn't notice a hatch on the ship open up. Megatron was furious that his warship had been damaged, and so he sent out the only on the ship that was capable of pulverizing Wheeljack into the ground.

With an almighty boom, Blackout launched himself from the ship, throwing himself toward Wheeljack, weapons at the ready.

Wheeljack looked back and saw Blackout sailing toward him.

"Megatron sent Blackout after me...I don't know if I should fear for my life or feel flattered." Wheeljack said to himself.

"I will grind you into the ground, fracture your armor bit by bit, and then present your skull to Megatron, as a tool to drink energon with!" Blackout boomed."

"Fear for my spark it is!" Wheeljack exclaimed.

Wheeljack sped up, trying to outrace the probably crazy Decepticon. Blackout wouldn't have any of that though and began to fire a barrage of weapons toward him. A yelp sounded from Wheeljack as he began swerving to avoid to blasts.

Blackout threw himself downward, crashing into the lunar surface not two feet in front of Wheeljack. The force sent Wheeljack flying upwards, he transformed and using the low gravity, he landed on his feet. Wheeljack watched as the dust blew up all around him.

A large fist slammed into him, causing him to sail backward. Blackout lumbered out of the gloom, weapons at the ready.

"Lord Megatron has ordered your termination, and I shall enjoy listening to every circuit in your body pop!" Blackout roared as he stormed toward Wheeljack.

Wheeljack looked around, the guns on the Nemesis were targeted toward him, and if he ran to his ship he might get it destroyed by Blackout. He reached back and pulled out a hilt. With a flick of his arm, cyber matter flowed from the hilt and formed into a large blade.

"Alright Blackout, you wanna dance, then let's party!" Wheeljack declared and threw himself toward Blackout.

Cybertron: Wreckage of Shockwave's lab.

Shockwave looked over his shoulder toward Onslaught, who sat, arms crossed and glaring at him. Shockwave had been spending the past few weeks trying desperately to rebuild his lab.

The Combaticons had done everything in their power to avoid helping Shockwave. Swindle spent most of his time trying to loot Shockwave's stuff, while Brawl had been using the damaged Constructicon drones as training dummies.

Vortex and Blast Off had been assigned to guard to the front of the tower, while Onslaught kept an optic on Shockwave. His visor covered up how one of his optics had been torn out by Quake during a bid for leadership of the team.

After killing Quake, Brawl took Quakes place on the team. Like many Decepticons, they all hated Shockwave. Swindle most of all because he was hoping to join the Nemesis crew and strike it rich.

As Shockwave worked, Swindle walked in, the tan and purple mech had a strong upper body build, with a cannon situated on his arm.

"Hey Onslaught, one of Shockwave's computers is going haywire and Brawl wants to know if he can "fix it." Swindle said.

Both Shockwave and Onslaught looked up. Inside Shockwaves head he knew what it meant, the Nemesis was at the target planet.

"What do you mean by "haywire?" Onslaught asked, giving Shockwave a look. "What's it doing?"

"It sounds like an alarm, kind of going off rapidly every few seconds." Swindle continued as Onslaught cut him off.

"Where is it?" Onslaught sharply asked. Swindle jumped a little at the harshness of his tone.

"It's down a feel levels, elevator was busted by Brawl so you may have to take the stairs." Swindle said, pointing in a certain direction.

Onslaught scowled and pushed past Swindle, before turning to look back at him.

"Make sure that Shockwave doesn't go anywhere!" He barked before storming off in anger. Shockwave stared after Onslaught before he looked at Swindle, who was busying himself by looking through the rubble.

Silently, Shockwave stood up as Swindle looked away, trying to move as silently as possible while keeping his optic firmly set on Swindle. As he walked toward a wall, he turned his head away for a split second. When he looked back Swindle was pointing an arm toward him.

There was a rush of air and a pair of energy bands whipped around Shockwave's waist and arms.

"Don't even try to break out of those energy bands, they were forged on Deneb IV, as were my cranial scanners, go all the way around my skull." Swindle walked over to Shockwave with a smirk.

"Swindle, you have no idea what you're doing." Shockwave began. Swindle however just waved a finger in Shockwave's face.

"I know exactly what I am doing, ensuring that Onslaught doesn't have Brawl to "Fix me" Swindle began to walk away from Shockwave before he looked back.

"It's bad for business when you're a squashed, burn and stabbed through the spark husk." Swindle said.

Shockwave watched him angrily. He however knew that Swindle would be thinking more business than anything else, which he could use to his advantage.

"Swindle wait, I may have a proposition for you." Shockwave said. Swindle paused before looking at him with a cocked eyebrow.

"A proposition you say, well then...you must be out of your mind Shockwave, Onslaught will kill me." Swindle stepped back, placing a servo on his chest ion mock alarm.

However, his optics shifted from left to right before he dashed over to Shockwave. He bent down and whispered into his audio.

"What kinds of proposition are talking here Shockers?"

If Shockwave could have grinned like a maniac, he would.

Two miles from the Moon.

Prowl stared off into the blankness of space with a flat look on his face. Almost two deca cycles he had been piloting the ship, and everyone was going a little stir crazy.

Minerva had rearranged at least six times, Ironhide had taken to beating up a wall in his room to vent. Hound had spent his time trying to anglicize as much as he could on the target planet, as well as keep Ironhide from punching a hole in the hull.

Jazz had taken up playing and dancing on his wheels to his favorite types of music. Wither it was in his room or the halls made no difference.

Bumblebee had remained firmly locked in his room and as far away from Prowl as possible.

Unfortunately to Prowl, it seemed that he, Sari, and Optimus were the only ones taking this mission seriously. If Sari wasn't hanging around with Bumblebee, she was trying to help around the ship.

Optimus was taking time to try and visit every person on the ship, but he visited with Prowl the most. If

Prowl was being honest with himself, he was feeling glad that Optimus saw his importance. At least he did a little.

As Prowl steered the ship toward the target planet, the energon detectors began sounding off. Prowl reached over and shut them off.

He didn't need a computer to tell him that the planet was very rich in energon.

However, as he flew closer to the moon, his optics saw something. Then his optics went wide, very wide. He could see the Nemesis hovering over the surface of the moon.

Prowl sat in his seat, as still as a statue as he looked at the Nemesis. He had spent time looking over reports of battles where the infamous warship had made appearances.

The legendary cannons of the ship had destroyed multiple outposts, battalions and in some cases, whole fleet. It left destruction in its wake wherever it went. Now, he was staring at it and with the current course of the ship. He was going to be up close and personal.

Prowl slammed the ships engines to a halt, causing the ship to shift backward. He had no intentions of even flying near the warship.

The doors to all the ships habsuites opened and a bunch of cranky Autobots appeared.

"Man Prowl, I know ya want us to be up more but do ya have to wake us up like that?" Jazz complained, rubbing the back of his head.

Ironhide growled at Prowl, who was looking back at the others when his optics wavered to the front window.

"Is that the Nemesis?" He asked. The entire ship went silent and everyone looked out the front.

"Yes, this means that the Decepticons beat us here." Prowl said firmly.

Optimus stared at the ship in awestruck terror. He too had heard the stories of the Nemesis, and knew that if they got anywhere near the ship, they would be blown to bits.

"Prowl, try to keep us low, and if you can fly us under that moon." Optimus said

"Won't do ya any good if the cons see ya from there, the forward cannons are the most deadly." Ironhide spoke.

Optimus, Jazz, Prowl, and Hounds optics turned to face him. Ironhide grunted before he continued talking.

"The Nemesis is primarily a frontal assault ship, the only times ya would see the rear is if ya managed to survive an assault." Ironhide walked over and tapped the window at the Nemesis's stern.

"Now I know that doesn't mean much conserving that the back is as armored, but contrary to what you have been told that ship has suffered damage from the rear." Jazz looked at Ironhide with a smirk.

"So, it having a record of invincibility is false." He crossed his arms triumphantly.

"That does us no good if they can still blast us out of the…anti..matter..." Sari trailed off while she tried to think of something to say.

Optimus looked toward Ironhide and then Prowl. Prowl shrugged, looking at Ironhide with an aside glance. To Ironhide though it was a good thing; someone was finally listening to him.

"What happens if we hit the ship's engines and cause the Nemesis to stall?" Optimus asked.

"Then the ship hit's it auxiliary power, but that's not enough to keep the guns online, mostly to get it to the nearest Port." explained Ironhide.

"Well there's not a port for a couple thousand lightyears that'll hold that crate." quipped Jazz. "Which, I assume makes this our only chance to take out the cons."

"Exactly why we need to take this chance." Optimus said. He looked at the moon again before his optics caught onto something. Dust, weapons fire, and even a small explosion could be seen across the surface.

"What is going on down there...?" Optimus trailed off as the other Autobots turned to take a look at as well. Prowl hit a button on the ship's computer, which ran a quick scan of the area. The scan came back showing an Autobot energy signature as well as a Decepticon one.

"Looks like someone down there is in trouble." Hound mused. Jazz snapped his head up and gasped in alarm.

"It's Wheeljack, the cons must have found him!" He gasped.

"So looks like this fight also becomes a rescue mission." Prowl grumbled. He had a strong dislike for Wheeljack, notwithstanding the fact that for a brief time he ran with Kup's squad.

Wheeljack had been a medic like Ratchet, also taking the time to work on inventions. Prowl, seeing them as a waste of time, sealed off Wheeljack's lab in an attempt to make him focus on medical duties. Of course Wheeljack didn't take that very well. Once had had the opportunity, Wheeljack loaded up the stuff from his lab on Cybertron into a ship and took off.

"I think that he'll be fine until we get there, we need to take out the Nemesis." stated Prowl in a "matter of fact" tone.

"Prowl, I know that ya hate Wheeljack, but you can't just leave another Autobot to die." Jazz said.

"Last time I checked her renounced the Autobots a while back." Prowl grunted.

Everyone on the ship was a little stunned by the harshness in Prowl's tone. Others had expected this from Prowl. What they didn't expect was Optimus's next course of action.

He grabbed Prowl and threw him out of the command chair. Prowl let out a yelp as Optimus pushed him back.

"You can have all of the grudges in the universe against Wheeljack, but you are not putting his life in danger because of those grudges!" Optimus snapped.

Everyone was taken aback by the harshness in Prime's voice. Prowl stood for a moment in shock, before he dropped his head. Optimus was right; he had been letting a grudge get in the way.

"Jazz, take over piloting the ship and get us close to Nemesis's stern." Optimus ordered.

Giving a nod, Jazz slid into the pilot's seat and activated the engines again. As the ship flew closer everyone began to get a little nervous. Optimus however was trying to figure out what to do next.

"Prowl, are the weapons on this ship automatic or manual?" Prowl looked up and cleared his throat.

"They were upgraded to manual before the launch, as per orders." He said. Optimus nodded before he looked at Ironhide. Ironhide huffed and he walked forward. He placed a hand on Jazz's chair and began directing him on how to get close.

"So, what do the rest of us do?" Sari's voice caused Optimus to turn. Minerva, Hound, Bumblebee and Sari all looked back at him. Optimus looked back toward the lunar surface where Wheeljack was no doubt fighting a desperate battle.

"We're getting a small shuttle, and embarking on a rescue mission." Optimus said.

Wheeljack wiped the bottom of his face mask as he tried to circle Blackout once again. He had lost count for how long the two of them had been fighting; but he knew it must have been a while.

He was limping on the left leg, covered in dents, and Blackout had managed to hit his face hard enough to make it bleed under his mask. Blackout however had very little in the way of damage.

A few scratches and blast marks covered his frame along with some dents but other than that he was mostly fine.

"I'm going to enjoy pounding the energon out of you." Blackout growled. He charged forward again, before drawing out a pair of blades that spun rapidly.

He threw his arm at Wheeljack who ducked as the blade scraped along the surface. Wheeljack slid under his legs and thrust his blade at Blackout's back. The blades impacted and slide along, leaving another scratch. Blackout spun around, smacking Wheeljack with his large arm.

Wheeljack fell backwards as Blackout jumped forward and punched him in midair. Once again crashing along the ground, Wheeljack spat energon as he came to a stop.

"Is that all you've got?" asked a weary Wheeljack. He got his answer when from Blackout's sides extended a pair of Gatling guns. They began to fire at Wheeljack, who tried to get away.

Luckily the blasts impacts were lessened by the low gravity. However they still hurt like crazy as Wheeljack discovered when the first fifteen rounds crashed into him. Wheeljack let out a cry of pain as he transformed and tried driving away.

Blackout began to walk forward, his pace slowed by the constant firing of his weapons. The blasts kept hitting Wheeljack, as Blackout turned to follow Wheeljack wherever he swerved. As Wheeljack turned left, Blackout began hitting him broadside.

The force of the blasts forced Wheeljack up into the air. He transformed back as he was struck several more times before he fell to the ground. Circuitry fizzled and cracked across Wheeljack's frame. Wracked with pain Wheeljack struggled to get up.

Blackout lumbered toward him, having finally stopped firing his guns. The large Deception let out a rumbling chuckle as he brought out his rotating blades again.

"Your head ill make an excellent present to Lord Megatron." He said. He began to spin the blades closer toward the immobile Autobots neck. Wheeljack tried to get up but Blackout slammed a large foot into his chest. Wheeljack looked up weakly and let out a moan as Blackout thrust the blade toward.

But just before it reached Wheeljack, there was a loud clang of metal on metal. Wheeljack blinked as he saw Optimus Prime standing over him, holding Blackout's arm with his left arm, while his right arm struggled to jam Blackout's rotating blades.

"Tell Megatron to find another trophy." quipped the prime. Optimus threw himself forward and head-butted Blackout. The large Decepticon stumbled back as Minerva and Hound raced over.

"Optimus Prime, where the slag did he come from?" asked Barricade.

The bridge of the Nemesis had been joined by Wreckage, and Starscream. They along with Megatron had been watching the battle below. Megatron's frown had twisted into an angry grimace. Not only had, what he assumed was a lone scout, had gotten here first, but now Optimus Prime was here as well?

Soundwave was scanning the moon for any signs of a ship; all he could find was presumably the vessel that has brought Optimus Prime and the two others to the moon.

A small escape ship, big enough to hold at the very least ten Autobots, and parked far enough away that the turrets couldn't hit it. Starscream was looking on with a look of sarcastic glee at Megatron practically sweating.

"Soundwave, scan the space around us, I want to know where the Autobots ship is!" Megatron bellowed.

As Soundwave began aligning the scanners to scan the area around the ship, the ship itself shook. Alarms began sounding off, showing weapons fire impact at the stern.

"I think we found our Autobots Lord Megatron." Starscream chuckled. Megatron shot a glare toward Starscream as the ship rocked once more.

"Open up Blackout's com channel and have him return to the ship, and start turning us around!" barked Megatron. Soundwave began to go to work yet again as the Nemesis rocked once more.

"Looks like we're finally doing some damage!" examined Jazz as laser shots pounded into the stern of the Nemesis.

"Hitting the thing isn't the same as making damage; right now all we're doing is scratching the paint job." Ironhide said. Prowl gave Ironhide a blank looked and rolled his optics.

He finally was given the chance to "help" the Autobots and all he did was criticize them.

"I'm trying to hit the exhaust ports like ya said." Jazz complained. "What more do ya want me to do?"

Ironhide looked up toward the ship and froze. The Nemesis was starting to turn around; its turrets were swiveling to the side as well.

"Yeah, start getting the others off the move the ship's turning!" Ironhide snapped.

As the Nemesis turned the shots from the Autobots ship struck broadside, tearing into the metal of the vents. Heat from the exhaust began to pour out as Jazz began to take over the ship's controls. He flew the ship, trying to keep it at the back of the Nemesis as the guns kept hitting the exhaust.

"I don't even think we're making a dent!" Prowl snapped.

The Nemesis's turrets began to lock on the Autobots, and with a burst of light they opened fire. Twin bolts of energy slammed into the Autobot ship, sending it reeling backwards.

Prowl and Ironhide were thrown back a bit while Jazz struggled to control the ship. All the while he began to aim the ships guns at the turrets of the Nemesis. As Jazz was putting up his fight, Ironhide noticed that Blackout was flying away from the moon.

"Blackout's pulling out; should mean that your boys down there can get their afts back up here."

"Not with the Decepticons shooting at us we can't they'll be torn to bits!" Prowl shot back.

The ship rocked to the side as more weapons fire from the Nemesis slammed into the side. Jazz wrestled with the controls as the ship began to spin slightly.

"Well we can't just leave Prime and the others down there, we gotta do something!" Jazz shouted. Ripping the controls he managed to get the ship stable as tried to fly away from the Nemesis.

"Our best option would be to go down and pick them up manually, but that would make us a target as well." Prowl mused.

"What other choice do we have?" Ironhide asked.

Prowl shot a glance down at the moon surface, he was never a big fan of Prime's leadership and the disrespect from Wheeljack and Bumblebee. But he knew that with Jazz as pilot, and Hound being Ironhides friend he'd be outnumbered if he said no. Besides that everyone would know that he left a group of Autobots to die over "petty grudges."

"Jazz, take us down as near to them as we can to pick them up." Prowl ordered. With a knowing grin Jazz began to fly the ship toward the moon.

Cybertron.

Convincing Swindle that he had a stash of valuable items was easy enough. Shockwave had woven a tale of fantastic treasures he had collected across Cybertron.

All of it had been fabrications, and now Shockwave found himself being "escorted" by Swindle. Shockwave had shown him his secret elevator and the two had traveled down the tower. They soon came to a stop and Swindle looked around.

"I'm surprised this "treasure vault" of yours isn't lower...like underground." Swindle said.

"I felt that it would be better to have quick access to it." Shockwave stated.

The doors opened to reveal a small room, with a computer in the very middle of it. Shockwave strode over to it and began typing on the keys. Swindle however was looking around with a confused look.

"This isn't a vault, it's a fragging closet." Swindle bemoaned. He looked toward Shockwave with a glare.

"You lied to me you one eyed scoundrel, you managed to swindle me!" Swindle chuckled as he grabbed his weapon. "I mean I can admire that, but the way that you did it-"

He hadn't noticed that Shockwave was reaching into the computer, and pulled out a small metal rod.

"I did not lie to you; this room is full of something of value to Cybertron." Shockwave twisted the metal rod and it extended.

"Well unless everything is invisible, I don't see what you mean." Swindle said.

The metal rod extended fully and its tip began to spark. Shockwave turned and jammed into Swindle's chest plates. Swindle let out a yelp as the electricity flowed through his body and circuitry, overloading his processor in the process.

Shockwave pulled the staff away and with a thud, the smoking form of Swindle fell to the floor.

"I didn't say the Cybertron that you knew I'm afraid, I was referring to my own Cybertron." Shockwave said and turned back to his work.

The Moon.

Wheeljack let out a moan as Minerva looked him over. Optimus and Hound stood off to the side, weapons at the ready in case the Decepticons tried anything. In the small life ship nearby, Bumblebee and Sari sat in case they needed to make a quick getaway.

"Minerva how bad is his damage?" Hound asked.

"Well it's mostly shell damage, but some of his internals have taken a pretty good pounding." She said. Standing up and retracting her medical equipment she looked at Optimus.

"If I can get back to the ship I may...be able to fix him..." She trailed off and Optimus looked at her curiously.

"Well unfortunately the ship just took off after the cons noticed us." Sari said over the radio.

"Right now we need to keep clam." Optimus said. "The last thing we need right now is to be disorganized if the Decepticons attack us."

"Yeah, six of us, one a minicon and one injured, against possibly hundreds of Decepticons." Bumblebee muttered. "I've got a good feeling with those odds."

"Don't be so negative Bee." Sari snapped.

Bumblebee just rolled his optics when there was a loud rush of dust from one side of the moon. All the Autobots looked to see their ship flying in low and at a slow speed.

"Are they picking us up or trying to crash land?" Hound questioned. Optimus looked ahead and noticed that while, while scorched, the ship seemed operational.

"It appears that we're being picked up..." Optimus trailed off as a deep rumbling sound was heard. All the Autobots turned to see that the Nemesis had followed their ship and was now almost right on top of them.

"Bumblebee, Sari, get out of the life ship!" Optimus ordered.

Bee grabbed Sari and charged out the doors as the Nemesis's guns opened fire, obliterating the tiny vessel. Bee transformed and began to drive toward the ship, Sari riding on his roof.

"Minerva, load Wheeljack onto my back." Optimus said while he transformed. Gently picking him up, Minerva placed Wheeljack onto the back of Optimus's altmode before transforming herself.

As they began to drive off, Hound jumped forward and transformed as well. The guns on the Nemesis opened up and began firing at Optimus and the others. The Autobots began to swerve and dodge as the shots began to slam into the moon around them.

"Keep it up Autobots, we're almost there!" Optimus said.

The area where the escape ship began to open up, reveling Prowl standing in the room. The Autobots raced their engines to the max as Bumblebee roared into the room, transforming as he did so, followed by Hound and Minerva. Optimus poured on the power and transformed, He and Wheeljack went sailing through the air.

Grabbing him Optimus threw himself into the ship as Hound closed the bay doors. The ship banked hard toward the target planet and Jazz hit the thrusts. A loud roar emanated from the engines as the ship flew. Behind them the Nemesis also made a hard turn to continue giving chase.

Cybertron.

Shockwave watched the scans of the ship with a feeling of satisfaction. It was all coming together perfectly as planned. He looked at the scanner on the screen, the Nemesis was moving closer toward the target planet.

In less than ten nano clicks the ship would in the target planet's atmosphere. Shockwave began to type the final commands into his computer.

"You were a good leader at the start Megatron, but over time your ideals have worn out, and you have brought us to a standstill" Shockwave said.

"It is time for a new leader, one more...logical." He said. Shockwave started the countdown. "One who will lead Cybertron forward, instead of holding us back."

"Farewell Lord Megatron."

Above the target planet the Nemesis's cannons were firing at the Autobot vessel, barely even hitting as it weaved back and forth. Suddenly a shudder went through the warship. Then, there was a loud explosion as fire shot out from the ship's rear.

The Nemesis began to spin sharply as more explosions tore through the hull of the warship. A rather large one ripped through the ship's hull and sent part of the stop falling toward the Autobot ship.

Despite the best efforts of the Autobots aboard the ship, the Nemesis crashed into their own ship. The Autobots ship went into a wild spin as debris from the Nemesis crashed into it. The ships began to tumble out of control toward the planet below.

The Autobots ship was tumbling around as more explosions ripped apart the already doomed Nemesis. A large section hit the ship and tore a hole into it. As it entered the atmosphere the Autobot ship began to break apart while the Nemesis kept sailing downward.

Neither crews had time to eject as the Autobots ship was ripped apart as it came to Earth. Large sections of it crash landing all across the North American continent.

The Nemesis had somewhat managed to remain intact despite being torn in half as it came down far north. It crashed down into a mountain range. Snow flew everywhere as the ship's halves came to a rest. However that wasn't the end of it, as with a roar part of the mountain collapsed.

Snow, rocks and dirt crashed down around the spaceship, burying it completely. As well as forcing some of the remains down further.

When all was said and done, you would never have known that aliens were visiting Earth.

Cybertron.

For one of the few times in his life, Shockwave felt a sense of triumph. His plan had gone off in full and now Megatron was gone. However he didn't have very long to ruminate on his victory.

The wall behind him exploded as Vortex flew in, dropping off an angry looking Onslaught. Onslaught hit the floor hard before he whipped out a gun and aiming it at Shockwave.

"Looking at one of your more personal projects Shockwave?" Onslaught mocked as he stormed over.

'I have just completed this project Onslaught, and I will now ask you to stand down." Shockwave ordered. He was meet with a sneer from Onslaught.

"My orders come from Megatron, and last time I checked, you're not Megatron!" Onslaught placed his weapon up to Shockwave's optic. Shockwave huffed and swatted it away.

"Megatron is...no more, your orders fall to me-" Shockwave was cut off as Onslaught punched him in the chest, sending him stumbling.

Before Shockwave could stop him, Onslaught was glaring at the computer. His optic went wide and he punched the scream before looking at Shockwave.

"You traitorous filth Shockwave." He rumbled before he took aim at the scientist. Before Shockwave could counteract there was a burst of weapons fire. Shockwave flew backwards and slammed into the wall. Despite his injuries he was still alive.

Onslaught looked at Blast off, who was hovering nearby.

"Blast Off, go to the communications array and try to contact Lord Megatron, I'll be personally escort Shockwave to prison." He said.

With a nod Blast Off transformed and flew off. Onslaught marched over to Shockwave and grabbed him by the throat.

"You'd better hope that your plan worked Shockwave." threatened Onslaught as he dragged him out.

"Because if Lord Megatron survived, you're going to become spare parts."

However as Onslaught and the Autobots would soon discover, they weren't going to hear from either ship's crews. Not for a very long time.
