Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon vol. 2

A/N: This is the much-awaited sequel to Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon. I have seen series two now, and it was frikkin' awesome, so this will be set after most of the events of series two have happened. (Except for Jeremy not dying when he overdosed himself and other events that would interfere with my version of events that followed in the last story) And I'm going to make those events have been set over a year, so David would be one in this story and all the characters would be a year older. This will mostly be about Damon and Megsy's wedding and the events around it. But I'm going to bring the two originals that appeared in series 2 into it. Klaus and Elijah are coming to town. Yay! Let's say Klaus left town after breaking the hybrid curse that was placed on him. And Klaus comes back because he believes that Megsy holds the key to a strong power greater than his as he sees no other way to explain how Megsy had David. But will Elijah be on Klaus's side or Megsy and Damon's? Hopefully he'll be pissed at Klaus for staking him. But you know what they say, blood is thicker than water. And will Klaus put Megsy on edge? Chapter 24: The friend becomes the enemy

Megsy met Stefan on the outskirts of the forest. Megsy was now dressed in a dark green long-sleeved t-shirt paired with dark blue skinny jeans, her black leather jacket, a white beanie with thin light green stripes and her black and white 'airwalk' plimsolls. Her chocolate-brown hair was now in low bunches. Stefan was now dressed in a black dress-shirt paired with a black leather jacket, faded blue skinny jeans and plain black dress shoes. His hair was in its usual gelled style. Megsy rose an eyebrow and gave him a small smile.

Megsy: Stefan. Thank you for coming.

Stefan was leaning against a tree with his arms crossed a few yards away from her. He rose an eyebrow as he returned her smile.

Stefan: What did you call me here for?

Megsy sauntered up to him giving him a flirty smile. She stopped just a few inches away and trailed her fingers up and down his chest.

Megsy: I have a proposition for you.

Stefan rose an eyebrow again, his smile getting brighter.

Stefan: Oh?

Megsy took one step back and dropped her hand to her side, her expression becoming serious.

Megsy: We need to be the first ones to reach the cure.

Stefan rose an eyebrow in curiosity.

Stefan: Why would you want the cure?

Megsy: I don't. But whoever gets to it first, has the decision of what to do with it.

Stefan: I didn't think you wanted to make that decision.

Megsy: I don't. Frankly, I couldn't care less what it's used for or who uses it. But if we get to it first, then we have the advantage. We can trade it. We could use it in any way want. We could use it to get what we want.

Stefan: I'm listening.

Megsy: All it takes is for me and you to work together. And the cure is ours.

Megsy smiled.

Stefan: Well, I suppose we do make a good team.

With these words, Megsy knew he was in. He gave her a bright smiled which she returned.

Megsy: Damn right! Ok. So we shall get to work a little later. First, we have a party!

Stefan frowned slightly, though his smile didn't disappear.

Stefan: Won't that give them time to get the cure?

Megsy pulled a piece of rolled up parchment out of her pocket and smirked.

Megsy: Not without the map they won't. And certainly not without...

Megsy pulled a guy from out behind a tree. He was tied up and his white shirt, black jeans and black sneakers were muddy and creased.

Megsy: ... Professor Shane.

Stefan's smile got even brighter as he saw this.

Stefan: So we have the advantage.

Megsy said nothing at this just smiled and raised her eyebrows.

Megsy: Party now Stef?

She pouted and batted her eyelids at him. He laughed at this and stood up straight.

Stefan: Sure. But first...

He walked up to her and kissed her. She responded as their lips locked and both their eyes closed. As their tongues battled for dominance in their mouths, they completely forgot about professor Shane, who, cleared his throat at the scene of the two locked in a passionate kiss. The two broke apart and shot a quick look at Professor Shane before returning their attention to each other. They intertwined their hands together as they searched each other's eyes.

Stefan: You and me against the world.

Megsy: You and me against the world.

She agreed.

Later on at the party

Megsy and Stefan were at the Salvatore Boarding House with a bunch of strange people from high school that they'd invited over. Stefan was now wearing a black and white suit with black tie and dress shoes. Megsy was now wearing a sparkly long-sleeved knee-length black dress that ended in ruffles at the bottom. She also wore black sparkly converse. Her hair was up in high bunches with her left side fringe showing. Both Megsy and Stefan had bottles of bourbon in their hands. Megsy took a swig and checked Stefan out in a not very subtle way.

Megsy: You came in formal.

Stefan titled his head and gave her a charming smile.

Stefan: You asked.

Megsy smiled brightly and raised her eyebrows suggestively.

Megsy: Well you look very dashing.

Stefan: Thank you. You don't look bad yourself.

They both grinned and shared a laugh. Megsy bowed and held out a hand to Stefan.

Megsy: May I have this dance?

Stefan shook his head and took a step back, waving his arms in the air.

Stefan: Oh no. You know I don't dance.

Megsy stood up straight and crossed her arms, pouting at Stefan.

Megsy: Oh come on. For me?

Stefan rolled his eyes and gave a resigned sigh, giving in.

Stefan: Fine.

Megsy grinned and bounced on the spot a bit in excitement.

Stefan and Megsy put their bottles of bourbon to the side and began to slow dance together. They stayed that way for a while when the track changed on the CD player to a faster, more upbeat song. They stopped slow dancing and sent each other a knowing look, communicating with their eyes. They then took a stranger each and started feeding, flashing around from stranger to stranger using vampire speed. Stefan took a girl and fed on her so vigorously that her head fell off. Megsy watched him silently as he looked at the girl with guilt and apologised to her while trying to put her head back on. Megsy walked over to a kneeling Stefan and put a hand on his shoulder.

Megsy: Stefan.

He stood up and turned around to face her as they locked eyes.

Megsy: Everything's ok as long as you're with me.

Stefan nodded and a grin slowly made its way onto his face. They went back to feeding off the strangers. Megsy killed in a very similar way to the way Stefan did, except she didn't try to put them back together. This went on for a while until all the strangers lay dead on the sitting room floor of the Salvatore Boarding House. It was at that moment that Elena and Damon walked through the door. Elena gasped. She was appalled at what she saw. Damon frowned at the sight. Elena put a hand over her mouth and turned away into Damon's chest. Damon absent-mindedly put his arms around her whilst focusing on Stefan.

Damon: Oh boy Stef. What are we gonna do with you?

Stefan: Nothing Damon. I'm perfect the way I am. Maybe you should try a walk on the wild side sometime.

Elena turned around and glared at him, desperately trying to not look too closely at the bodies scattered around the floor. Megsy gave a small giggle and put a hand on Stefan's chest.

Megsy: Damn right you're perfect.

The pair leaned in and shared a deep, passionate kiss. Elena and Damon looked away, feeling awkward. The kiss soon ended and Megsy and Stefan returned their attention to Elena and Damon, who still looked and felt disgusted at the sight before them.

Elena: How could you- How could you do this?

Megsy: Oh get over it Elena. Stefan's moved on.

Damon: That's not what she was talking about.

Megsy smirked and rose an eyebrow.

Megsy: Jealous, Damon?

Damon just glared at her.

Damon: Stefan. You know this isn't right. This isn't you.

Stefan: You know what Damon. Why don't you just leave us alone? Hm?

Elena: We just came to get clothes.

Stefan: Then get them and go.

Elena flashed up stairs, packed enough clothes for everyone and came back down stairs, sending a glare Megsy and Stefan's way. Damon glared again but he and Elena begrudgingly left. Megsy listened and when she heard that they were far away, she grinned at Stefan.

Megsy: Alone at last.

Stefan came closer and pulled Megsy into his embrace, looking deeply into her eyes as she looked into his.

Stefan: Mmhmm. What do you wanna do now?

Megsy grinned and led him upstairs to his bedroom.

Klaus had also been told that a witch was plotting against him and was trying to find out what she had planned. The vampire he had mentored had already killed her but he wanted to find out what she had planned for him. So, he was at the witch's sisters bar. Elijah was currently elsewhere. He walked in to the bar and surveyed it.

Klaus: Anybody here know a Jane-Anne Devereux?

Nobody answered but a girl with black hair and blue eyes kept her head down and looked away when she heard the name, indicating she knew the name. Klaus walked up to her and she looked up, startled.

Klaus: You.

Girl: Me?

Klaus: Did you know a witch by the name Jane-Anne Devereux?

Girl: I don't know about witch, but she was my sister.

Klaus: Ah! Well, my sincerest condolences. Did you happen to know if she was plotting against me? And what she was plotting?

Girl: If I knew anything, you think I would tell you?

Klaus just gave her a small smile.

Klaus: See I think you know something.

?: No. But I do.

He turned around to find Hayley. He hadn't seen her since the night they'd spent together. There were three strange women with her. Klaus rose an eyebrow.

Klaus: After you then, love.

Hayley and the women with her then turned around and walked out the door. Klaus gave one nod and smile to the girl he was talking to and then followed them.

They ended up at an old abandoned warehouse. Klaus was surprised to see Elijah already there. There were also more strange women. They were all standing around what seemed to be a cauldron, meaning... they were all witches.

Klaus: Brother. What is going on here?

Elijah looked sombre and yet somewhat excited.

Elijah: You should listen to what the witches have to say brother.

Klaus frowned in confusion. Hayley came to stand behind him. A witch came forward.

Witch: My name is Ariala. Tonight, we bring to you a mystical force, which, by all means, should be impossible. But the full moon makes it so. We want you to help us. Help us defeat Trent, the vampire you mentored, and we will help you with this in return.

Klaus: What the hell are you talking about? What is this psychobabble?

Hayley: I'm pregnant. Klaus.

Klaus: What? That's impossible!

Klaus's eyes were now watering and he was now angry and upset.

Ariala: No it's not. You are the original hybrid. And Hayley is a werewolf. This allows it to be possible.

Klaus: She's been with someone else!

He yelled. Hayley gave him a look.

Hayley: They kept me three days in a frikkin' swamp. Don't you think I would've spilled the beans if it wasn't yours?

Elijah: Stop and listen, brother. Listen to the heartbeat.

Klaus stopped and turned to look at Hayley's stomach, listening. His eyes widened a bit as he heard the heartbeat. He shook his head to try and shake it off.

Klaus: No.

Ariala: You must help us.

Klaus: WHY SHOULD I?!

Ariala: You wouldn't want anything to happen to the girl and the child.

Klaus: What makes you think I care?

With that, he stormed out. They all just stared after him.
