28. Chapter 28: Silas' First Appearance

Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon vol. 2

A/N: This is the much-awaited sequel to Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon. I have seen series two now, and it was frikkin' awesome, so this will be set after most of the events of series two have happened. (Except for Jeremy not dying when he overdosed himself and other events that would interfere with my version of events that followed in the last story) And I'm going to make those events have been set over a year, so David would be one in this story and all the characters would be a year older. This will mostly be about Damon and Megsy's wedding and the events around it. But I'm going to bring the two originals that appeared in series 2 into it. Klaus and Elijah are coming to town. Yay! Let's say Klaus left town after breaking the hybrid curse that was placed on him. And Klaus comes back because he believes that Megsy holds the key to a strong power greater than his as he sees no other way to explain how Megsy had David. But will Elijah be on Klaus's side or Megsy and Damon's? Hopefully he'll be pissed at Klaus for staking him. But you know what they say, blood is thicker than water. And will Klaus put Megsy on edge? A/N: Right first I want to say I know I don't update regularly and often leave a long time between updates and I'm really sorry for that! It's just how I work, I'm afraid. So, anyways, I have a lot of inspiration and a great idea of where this story is going. I know which couplings I want now and who's going to end up with who. Feel free to try to guess in a review or a PM! I'll give you shout outs and virtual gift baskets at the end of the story if you get it right. ;) Although I know where I want this story is going to end up I am having a little trouble making it get there.

Also, have any of you guys seen the last two episodes of this series of vampire diaries? I cried at what happened to Stefan but didn't cry too much because I didn't think they would kill him off forever. I had a strong feeling they would bring him back! And I was right! But then I saw last night's episode and I was like 'I predicted this would happen'! They brought everyone back but to do so they had to kill Damon. Tyler and Elena. But they brought Elena, Stefan, Alaric, Tyler, and some others back! But Damon and Lexi didn't come through and the spell ended and they can't do it again! Also the other side is still collapsing and Bonnie and Damon are gonna go with it! :0 I cried so hard for most of the night! I hope they find a way to bring them back!

A/N: Previously on The Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon vol 2:

Megsy is part witch, part vampire and part werewolf.

Megsy has the strength of an original.

They now think that it's a two-way sire bond that's causing the Delena and Damon has proved it b forcing Elena to 'turn it off'.

Stefan's switch has flipped and he can feel again.

Stefan has the tombstone.

They read the tombstone and it says: Blood into the jaws of hell. Form a Triangle. The dead will rise. And chaos will rain.

Katherine has the cure. And she killed Jeremy and Bonnie? Or did she?

Professor Shane meets Silas, who, apparently, is someone they already knew! Who could it be?

Jeremy is dead! D: !

No-one knows where Megsy is but Megsy phoned Stefan and they broke up.

Elena: I told you I didn't want to be cured. And yet you try and force it down my throat anyway. You're lucky it wasn't the real thing. But whatever I do now, is on you two. - wrong moves salvatore brothers, looks like she's going on the rampage.

Chapter 28: Silas' First Appearance

A/N: Again sorry for delays and stuff. So, yeah I don't really have much to say on the authors note for a change! Just please read, review, comment and feel free to give me some constructive critiscm and there will be gift baskets (virtual) for all! So, yeah, and remember to vote for your favourite pairings and have a guess at who I'm gonna have as the end couples. Hopefully there shouldn't be too many more chapters before this story finishes. Bonnie, Caroline, and Stefan were standing in Katherine's apartment in New York. Damon had already gone after Elena.

Bonnie: Oh god, Elena.

Stefan: You guys head home. Damon and I will handle this.

Bonnie: I wanna help.

Caroline: We wanna help.

Stefan: It's too dangerous with Elena like this. You don't know what she'll do to you. You don't know how far she'll go.

Caroline: Just because you became all evil, doesn't mean you get to boss us around.

Caroline and Bonnie both crossed their arms rebelliously.

Bonnie: Besides, are you gonna stop us?

Stefan looked back and forth between Caroline and Bonnie and sighed reluctantly.

Stefan: Fine.

Stefan tilted his head and smiled, a plan forming in his mind.

Stefan: Actually, that gives me an idea.

Stefan took his phone out of his pocket and began dialling.

Bonnie and Caroline both frowned, looking at each other in confusion.

Bonnie: Who are you calling?

Stefan: Matt.

Caroline: Matt? Why are you calling Matt?

Stefan: What would shock and hurt Elena more than anything?

Bonnie and Caroline just rose their eyebrows.

Stefan: A friend dying!

Caroline: Wait, so you wanna kill Matt?

Stefan smiled.

Stefan: Exactly!

Caroline: Ok, I know you had this whole 'evil' thing going on, but it's over now and you really need to chill.

Stefan put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

Stefan: Caroline, Caroline. What does Matt wear?

Caroline visibly calmed down, her eyes widening in realisation.

Caroline: Ohhhh.

Matt answered the phone on the fourth ring.

Matt: Hello?

Stefan: Hey Matt, its Stefan.

Matt: Oh hey Stef. What's up?

Stefan: We need your help. It's Elena. Think you can make your way to New York?

Matt: Sure. I'm in Italy at the moment, but Rebekah will bring me straight there.

Stefan: Thanks.

Matt: So, Stef, what, exactly, is wrong with Elena.

Stefan: I'll explain when you get here. How long will you be?

Matt: Uh, dunno... I'll ask. Hey Rebekah. How long will it take to get from here to New York?

Rebekah: A couple of minutes at the most.

Stefan: Ok. We'll meet you at the Statue of Liberty. See you in a while.

Matt: Yeah, see you soon.

With that, they both hung up.

Bonnie: Well I guess we better get moving. We're gonna be later than them as it is. Since, you know, I don't have vampire speed.

Stefan and Caroline just nodded. All three of them then made their way, at a human pace, to the Statue of Liberty.

A SHORT WHILE LATER - AT THE STATUE OF LIBERTY

Matt, Rebekah, Stefan, Caroline and Bonnie were all at the Statue of Liberty, discussing their plan of action.

Stefan: Elena's emotions are off, as you know.

Matt and Rebekah just nodded.

Stefan: Well... Damon and I, we tried to force her to take the cure. But... the cure we found... It was a fake. And now, she's pissed.

Matt: And you wanna stop her before she does something she'll regret?

Stefan nodded.

Stefan: Exactly.

Matt: Ok, I'm in.

Stefan: Rebekah?

Rebekah: I could care less about Elena. But I have nothing better to do. Sure. Why not?

Stefan: Ok.

He then proceeded to tell them his plan.

LATER ON

Rebekah, Matt, Stefan, Bonnie and Caroline arrived just in time to see Damon pinned to the ground with a stake and Elena held up by the neck by none other than... Katherine? Who, might I add, was wearing the exact same outfit as her. They all rushed over to help Damon and Elena. Elena scowled at her doppelganger, seemingly unimpressed with the whole situation. As Katherine was fighting Elena, Professor Shane came limping to the scene. Katherine turned around and growled.

Katherine: How did you get off the island?!

As she was distracted Elena pried Katherine's fingers off her throat and went for her. Katherine stepped out the way with the utmost ease, turning around, and smirking.

Katherine: You're going to have to do better than that.

Stefan: Where's the real cure Katherine?

Katherine frowned, seeming confused.

Katherine: You don't know where it is?

Professor Shane: Don't listen to her! She's not Katherine! That's Silas! He's a shape shifter.

The others all turn and look at Katherine, their mouths agape. Katherine smiles.

Katherine: You caught me. I am Silas.

Professor Shane: He appeared to me looking like me, and said he was someone we already knew!

She turns to look at Shane and her eyes narrow.

Katherine: Now it's time to end your existence.

She waves her hand in his direction and a car flies over and lands on top of him, crushing his body. The others, Elena exempt, gasped in shock and upset. Elena just rose an eyebrow, mildly interested in the scene. She turned back to the others and gave them a slow, creepy smile.

Katherine/Silas: While that is the truth, no-one will discover who I truly am until I want them to.

Just then a phone rang. Silas/Katherine picked it up out of her pocket and rejected the call. The phone was a black iPhone 5c. It had crystal detail on the back that spelt 'Megsy the bitch'. Stefan's eyes widened.

Stefan: That's Megsy's phone! Where did you get that?

Katherine/ Silas' eyebrow rose and a slow, cruel smirk made its way onto her features.

Katherine: Because I have her, of course. Somewhere you'll never find her! I usually shape shift into her and answer the calls, you know, so no to raise suspicion. But right now I'm talking to you, so that would be rude.

Whilst Stefan was distracting Katherine/Silas, Caroline flashed over to Damon and attempted to take the stake out of Damon's body. It had stabbed him through the stomach, not the chest, so he would be okay with a little blood and rest. Katherine/Silas flashed over to where Caroline was, next to Damon's body, and stood over her menacingly, but made no move to stop Caroline from pulling the stake out. Caroline took it out and dropped it on the ground. Katherine/Silas picked up the stake with vampire speed, so fast that the other vampires didn't even see it. It was like Silas was standing without the stake one second, and it had magically appeared in his/her hand the next. Everyone's eyes were wide and they all took a step back, except for Damon of course, who was a little too weak to move. Katherine/Silas smirked again at their reactions. The real Katherine then walked in on the scene and immediately rose an eyebrow. Her dark hair was curled and she was wearing a black tube top paired dark blue skinny jeans and black flats. She looked at Elena, then down at herself, before looking at the third doppelganger.

Katherine: There's another one of us.

Bonnie: It's Silas.

Katherine: Oh, so the big bad has finally made an appearance.

She said casually.

Katherine/Silas: You bet.

Silas, who was still in the shape of Katherine, flashed over to Katherine and held her up by her throat.

Katherine/Silas: I want my cure!

Katherine pretended to look confused.

Katherine: What cure?

Silas wrapped his/her hands tighter around Katherine's throat.

Katherine/Silas: I know you have it, Katherine! Don't toy with me!

Katherine remained her composure but you could see a hint of fear in her eyes. She said nothing.

Katherine/Silas tilted her head and gave a small, cruel smile, a hint of annoyance in her eyes and tone of voice.

Katherine/Silas: Fine. If you won't talk, I'll just have to make you. You're coming with me.

With that, Silas snapped Katherine's neck and Katherine went limp, dropping to the ground. Silas smiled at the others and laughed evilly, like he/she had a brilliant plan that no one would be able to uncover.

Katherine/Silas: I'll be back for the rest of you later.

With that Silas picked Katherine up, and flashed off into the distance. The others just stared at the place where Silas had been, completely in shock. Elena was the first one to recover. She smiled.

Elena: Well, I'm glad that's over. No way you'll get the cure now.

She smirked and also flashed off. The other looked at each other, worry clear on their faces. What were they going to do now?

Ok, I know you have had a long wait and I'm sorry this is short but, I dunno, I've just had massive block when it comes to the end of this story. :( Also, I don't feel as motivated as I once did. Plus I've got college, homework, prom, deadlines, dog walking, a social life, getting my own independence, driving lessons, passing and studying for my theory test, passing my practical and a whole lot of other stuff to worry about lately. :( But don't worry, I'm not giving up on this story, not matter how long the time is between updates.
