29. Chapter 29: Silas' Reign

Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon vol. 2

A/N: This is the much-awaited sequel to Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon. I have seen series two now, and it was frikkin' awesome, so this will be set after most of the events of series two have happened. (Except for Jeremy not dying when he overdosed himself and other events that would interfere with my version of events that followed in the last story) And I'm going to make those events have been set over a year, so David would be one in this story and all the characters would be a year older. This will mostly be about Damon and Megsy's wedding and the events around it. But I'm going to bring the two originals that appeared in series 2 into it. Klaus and Elijah are coming to town. Yay! Let's say Klaus left town after breaking the hybrid curse that was placed on him. And Klaus comes back because he believes that Megsy holds the key to a strong power greater than his as he sees no other way to explain how Megsy had David. But will Elijah be on Klaus's side or Megsy and Damon's? Hopefully he'll be pissed at Klaus for staking him. But you know what they say, blood is thicker than water. And will Klaus put Megsy on edge? A/N: Right first I want to say, I know it's been a long, long time since I updated this story and I am sorry for that. it's just that lately I've been having a hard time for inspiration. I've been having a hard time finding time to update all my stories. My computer at my nans isn't working because it has too many bugs, I don't have the internet at home, so the only place I can write this is in the college FLA after college and I don't have much time after college to do this kind of thing. I am currently doing a course that has 12 units and that is a lot of coursework and exams. I wish I could update regularly but I'm afraid it's just never gonna be like that. Sorry guys. I'm gonna have to update when I can and that's just how it's gonna be. I have a plan for this story and we are so very nearly at the end. I keep forgetting what's happened in this story so I'm gonna have to remind myself and make sure I don't make any big errors. Anyways, enough of my rambling, on with the story.

A/N: Previously on The Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon vol 2:

Megsy is part witch, part vampire and part werewolf.

Megsy has the strength of an original.

They now think that it's a two-way sire bond that's causing the Delena

Damon forced Elena to 'turn it off'.

Stefan's switch has flipped and he can feel again.

Stefan has the tombstone.

They read the tombstone and it says: Blood into the jaws of hell. Form a Triangle. The dead will rise. And chaos will rain.

Katherine has the cure. And she killed Jeremy and Bonnie? Or did she?

Professor Shane meets Silas, who, apparently, is someone they already knew! Who could it be?

No-one knows where Megsy is

Elena: I told you I didn't want to be cured. And yet you try and force it down my throat anyway. You're lucky it wasn't the real thing. But whatever I do now, is on you two. - wrong moves salvatore brothers, looks like she's going on the rampage.

Stefan, Bonnie, Caroline, Rebekah and Matt have a plan to turn Elena's emotions back on

Silas appeared as Katherine and kidnapped the real Katherine who is the only person who knows where the cure is

Silas has Megsy's phone says that he kidnapped Megsy and is holding her captive

Elena ran away so now Bonnie, Caroline, Damon, Stefan, Rebekah and Matt are going to go find her

Chapter 29: Silas' Reign

Katherine/Silas and the real Katherine were sitting in Klaus' old house where Rebekah still lived. Rebekah was currently out at the moment. Silas had Katherine tied up on a chair in the middle of the living room with her hands bound and her mouth gagged. The ropes and gag were soaked with vervain and where they touched, you could see skin sizzling. Silas smirked evilly at Katherine.

Silas: Now Katerina, I'll tell you how this is going to go. You're gonna give me the cure without all this unpleasantness. Or we can do it the hard way. Your choice.

Silas took off the mouth gag and threw it on the floor. Silas rose an eyebrow.

Silas: Well? I'm waiting.

Katherine raised her chin defiantly.

Katherine: Go to hell.

Silas made a tut sound and shook her/his head in mock sadness.

Silas: Pity. I was so hoping you'd be co-operative.

Silas said that as if he/she didn't really mean it.

Silas: Oh well. Looks like the hard way it is.

Katherine: What are you gonna do? Torture me? Compel me? Been there. Done that. Do try and think of something original.

Silas shook his/her head again and smiled slowly.

Silas: Oh Katherine. I have much worse things in mind.

There was a slight falter in Katherine's composure. It was brief, but it was there.

Katherine: Bring it. Whatever it is, I'm sure I've had worse.

Silas: Oh, I don't know. Maybe you have. Maybe you haven't.

Silas bent down and ripped Katherine's heart out of her chest. She looked down, totally in shock about what happened. That only lasted for a second though before her eyes went lifeless and she began to go all veiny and pale. Silas clicked his/her fingers in front of Katherine's face. Katherine blinked and realised that she wasn't dead after all. She wasn't pale and veiny and her heart was still firmly in it's right place. She put her hand over her chest where her heart was and looked up at Silas in fear and shock.

Katherine: How did you...?

Silas: I can get into your mind, Katherine. I can be in your thoughts every waking second. I can torment you for eternity, make you see things that aren't there, make you do things, say them. I will always know where to find you. I will always know what you're up to. So... what do you say? Tell me where to find the cure... or eternal torment?

Katherine: I don't know where the cure is.

Silas narrowed his/her eyes.

Silas: Liar. If you just help me Katherine, then I can help you?

Katherine let out a small sarcastic chuckle.

Katherine: Oh so you wanna help me now? What exactly do you wanna help me with?

Silas: I can give you what you want. Provided you do two things for me.

Katherine: And what is it that you want?

Silas: Immortality like mine. You want to be truly untouchable.

Katherine's interest was piqued and you could tell by her body language as she sat up straight.

Katherine: Like you'd really give me that.

Silas: I won't break my word. I don't have to offer you this deal you know. I could just as easily kill you and take your thoughts. Do two things for me, and I will grant you immortality.

Katherine considered this for a moment.

Katherine: What is it you want me to do?

Silas: First task is to give me my cure. No fakes. The real deal. I'll know if it's not.

Katherine nodded.

Katherine: It's in my pocket.

Silas: Thank you.

Silas reached in and took the cure from Katherine's pocket, examining it. Silas nodded, noting that it was the real deal and placed it in his/her jean pocket.

Katherine was an eyebrow.

Katherine: What's the second thing?

Silas: I need you to get Bonnie Bennett on my side.

Katherine: Bonnie Bennett? That's going to be hard. She's little miss poster child for goodness. It sickens me.

Silas: I expect you'll think of something. At the very least, I need you to get her to come talk to me. Or no immortality.

Katherine stiffened.

Katherine: Fine. Where should I tell her to meet you?

Silas: Statue Of Liberty, 5pm.

Katherine struggled in my restraints.

Katherine: Can you untie me now?

Silas: Of Course.

Silas snapped his/her fingers and the ropes disappeared. Katherine frowned in surprise and then slowly stood up. Katherine went to go.

Silas: Oh Katherine?

Katherine turned around to face Silas who was still taking on her image.

Katherine: Yes?

Silas looked into Katherine's eyes, compelling her.

Silas: I expect you to be back here at 1am tomorrow morning, whether the tasks done or not. Katherine had no choice but to nod before she flashed out the door.

TIMES SQUARE WITH BONNIE, DAMON, STEFAN, CAROLINE, REBEKAH AND MATT

Bonnie, Damon, Stefan, Rebekah, Caroline and Matt had found Elena and dragged her to times square. She was currently bound in vervain soaked ropes. Everyone except Elena frowned as they saw Katherine approaching, all worrying about if it was Silas or the real Katherine. They all figured that it was most likely Silas.

Damon: Silas. What do you want?

Katherine: Nope not Silas. It's me. Good old Katherine Pierce.

Caroline: How do we know it's really you?

Katherine: You don't.

Stefan: What do you want?

She pointed a finger towards Bonnie.

Katherine: Witch, the boss wants a word with you.

Bonnie: Boss? Who are you working for?

Katherine: The big bad himself.

Bonnie: Silas?

Damon: Didn't he just kidnap you?

Katherine: Yup. We managed to strike a deal.

Bonnie: Deal? What kind of deal?

Katherine: Ah ah ah. That's for me to know and you to dot dot dot. Bonnie, I'm gonna need you to come with me.

Bonnie: I'm not going anywhere with you!

Katherine rolled her eyes.

Katherine: I need to talk to you in private.

Bonnie: Whatever you have to say, you can say in front of my friends.

Katherine rolled her eyes again.

Katherine: Fine. Stubborn little witch. Silas wants to meet you at the statue of liberty at 5pm today.

Bonnie: And why couldn't he give me that message himself?

Katherine shrugged.

Katherine: It was part of the deal. So? What should I tell him? I think you should at least hear him out or he might start, you know, slaughtering your friends.

Bonnie: Tell him, I'll hear what he's got to say, but that's it.

Katherine: Smart. See ya.

With that she flashed off. The others looked at Bonnie shocked.

Damon: Bonnie, you can't go meet this psychopath! He'll kill you!

Bonnie: If he wanted to kill me, he wouldn't need to arrange a meeting. He has the power to kill me anytime, anywhere. So why does he want to me with me? I've got to see what he wants.

Caroline: But-

Bonnie: Caroline. I need to. Maybe I can figure out a way to put him down.

Caroline sighed.

Caroline: Fine. Be careful.

Bonnie smiled.

Bonnie: I will.

She checked her phone; 16:40. She put it back in her pocket and headed to the statue of liberty.

STATUE OF LIBERTY - 5PM

Bonnie was waiting for Silas. Silas appeared from behind the statue of liberty. Silas had taken on the image of Caroline.

Bonnie: Silas, is that you?

Silas: Yes, I would be Silas. That would be me.

Bonnie: What do you want?

Silas laughed.

Silas: Straight to the point. That's so like you.

Bonnie: You don't know anything about me.

Silas: Oh trust me Bonnie, I know a hell of a lot.

Bonnie: Whatever. Get to the point. What is it that you want?

Silas: I want you on my side?

Bonnie: What?!

Silas: I need your help.

Bonnie raised her chin defiantly.

Bonnie: Well, you're not getting it.

Silas rose an eyebrow.

Silas: No? All I need from you Bonnie, is help dropping the other side. I need the tombstone. I need your help. All I want to do is bring back the people you love. And then I want to take the cure, and die. Is that so bad?

Bonnie: It is when dropping the other side means unleashing hell on earth?

Silas: Oh come on Bonnie. Don't you want Alaric back? Jenna? Lexi? Your grams? Jeremy?

Bonnie inhaled sharply.

Bonnie: More than anything. But the price is too great!

Silas: Ok, how about I kill Damon and Elena? Would you help me then? Two more friends on the other side. And then maybe it'll be Caroline. And we'll just keep adding to the list until you help me. You can't get rid of me Bonnie. I can't be killed and I am far too powerful.

Bonnie looked at Silas with fear and worry in her eyes.

Bonnie: Please don't hurt them. I'll help you. Just don't hurt my friends.

Silas smirked victoriously.

Silas: Good girl.

A/N: Ok, so that's the end of this chapter. Sorry it took so long and sorry it's so short. I literally came up short for what to write in this chapter. I am having trouble filling in all the gaps to get to the end. I know it takes me a long time. I can't physically write these chapters at home. I have no internet at home, the computer's broken at my nans, so I literally can't upload or write anything. The only time I have currently is on a Tuesday just after college finishes when I'm using the college computers. And though I try, I only get a couple of hours then so it takes me two or three weeks to actually write a chapter. But anways, I'm really happy this is finally up. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I will try and get the next to you soon. I am just honestly so busy with college, work, homework, walking dogs, exams. We have an exam like almost every week and I have to get ready and practice etc. So I don't have much time to myself to do things like work on my fanfics.
