Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon vol. 2
A/N: This is the much-awaited sequel to Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon. I have seen series two now, and it was frikkin' awesome, so this will be set after most of the events of series two have happened. (Except for Jeremy not dying when he overdosed himself and other events that would interfere with my version of events that followed in the last story) And I'm going to make those events have been set over a year, so David would be one in this story and all the characters would be a year older. This will mostly be about Damon and Megsy's wedding and the events around it. But I'm going to bring the two originals that appeared in series 2 into it. Klaus and Elijah are coming to town. Yay! Let's say Klaus left town after breaking the hybrid curse that was placed on him. And Klaus comes back because he believes that Megsy holds the key to a strong power greater than his as he sees no other way to explain how Megsy had David. But will Elijah be on Klaus's side or Megsy and Damon's? Hopefully he'll be pissed at Klaus for staking him. But you know what they say, blood is thicker than water. And will Klaus put Megsy on edge? I have a bad habit of focusing on too many things at once, so I'm trying not to do that. I will start writing other fics after I have wrapped up this one, which should hopefully not be too long now. I keep saying 'oh, 3/4 more chapters to go' and now it's like 7 chapters later. I realise I have a whole lot more to add. But this should be wrapped up in a maximum of about 10 chapters... I hope. They now think that it's a two-way sire bond that's causing the Delena
Silas has the tomb stone and has opened a portal to the other side.
Silas has the cure. Katherine is now on the Salvatore team. They have now put their plan into action!... and it failed miserably...
Silas is apparently someone they already knew! Who could it be?
Silas says that he has Megsy has his base at what used to be Klaus' house.
Silas' plan: We will then say a ritual which will allow people to come through. We will bring certain people through and then perform another ritual to close the veil. - So silas doesn't want hell on earth! He just wants to bring some people back to life!
Silas killed 36 people to create an expression triangle.
They also need to find the anchor to drop the veil. But wait... Silas opened the portal? what's going on? Does he have the anchor?
Silas can no longer read the minds of our little gang! Gang includes; Katherine, Elena, Caroline, Jeremy, Matt, Rebekah, Stefan and Damon. Silas can still read Bonnie's mind though.
We meet Luke and Liv!
And a whole bunch of people just walked through from the other side!

Chapter 33: Hello Again?
NORMAL POV
It was now just turning to night and Silas looked to the edge of the tree's, where the clearing ended.
Silas: You can come out now, dear.
A shaky figure came out from behind a tree. She appeared to be talking to her self, muttering under her breath. She had her arms crossed and appeared nervous. She was wearing some kind of Greek style toga. Her long brown hair came down to her waist and was curly. She looked exactly like... Elena? Is this another doppelganger? This new woman went over and stood next to Silas. Silas had now taken on the form of Tyler. Silas had chosen to wear a plaid blue and white button-up shirt paired with blue skinny jeans and black velvet trainers. Silas put his left arm around the girl in a one armed hug. The girl avoided meeting his eyes, looking awkward.
Silas: This is Amara. She is a vampire. And yes, she is a doppelganger. The original doppelganger, in fact. She is over two thousand years old. All the doppelgangers originate from her because she was betrayed when she was younger by Silas.
Everyone frowned at him. Why was he talking about himself in the third person?
Silas: I know what you must be thinking. Whilst I am A Silas, I am not the original Silas. I just took on his identity. Two thousand years ago, the real Silas and Amara here were lovers. They created an immortality potion and two cures. Silas was the only one who ever got to drink the immortality potion. A powerful witch fell for Silas and Silas betrayed her... So she cured him... and killed him. Amara was devastated. She used magic to stop herself aging and later became a vampire, hoping to one day be able to bring Silas back. In doing this, she created the other side and became the anchor to it. If Amara goes, so does the other side. I am not Silas. I've just taken his identity. Well... that should leave you guessing. But... no time for that now.
Alaric, Jenna and Lexi all walked through the portal at that moment, along with a few hundred other faces that no one seemed to recognise. Some of them didn't seem very friendly. Silas, or should I say not Silas, then closed the portal. He turned towards Bonnie, glaring at her. Bonnie looked on in shock. She shied away from him, worried about the situation, but at the same time happy that Alaric, Jenna and Lexi were alive. It certainly was a shock for them all, especially Elena, Jeremy and Stefan. None of them seemed to know what to do. They all just stood there in shock. Silas walked towards Bonnie. You could tell she wanted to back away, but she held her ground with her head held high. Silas gritted his teeth, looking angry.
Silas: You should've known better than to cross me Bonnie. I told you what would happen.
Bonnie gasped and her body tensed as she realised what he was talking about. Silas flashed over to Elena and kneed her in the stomach. She doubled over in pain and Silas reached inside her and pulled her heart out. He dropped her heart on the ground just as she dropped to the floor. She became all veiny as vampires become after they die. Damon rushed over to her looking hurt, angry, a whole array of emotions crossing his facial features. Bonnie looked on in horror. Damon stood up and faced Silas, his fists clenched. The rest of them all looked on in horror. Bonnie and Caroline had their hands over their mouths in an expression of dread and grief. Silas looked Damon directly in the eyes. And for a second... just a second... Bonnie thought she saw grief... That was just before Silas ripped Damon's heart out as well. Silas dropped Damon's heart as Damon dropped to the floor, dead. Damon and Elena's bodies lie next to each other, completely still and unmoving. Everyone looked on in horror, grief and devastation. No one was sure what to do. But... the other side still existed, right? They could find a way to bring them back, surely... as long as the other side existed. And Silas wouldn't sacrifice Amara... right? Silas began chanting some kind of spell that no one recognised. After he had finished chanting, Alaric, Jenna and Lexi gasped and it was obvious in that second that Silas had fully brought them back. The others who had stepped through were all alive as well. Damon and Elena... never got a chance to come through the portal. He killed them after he closed it. Then... Silas did the last thing anyone expected him to do. He flashed over to Amara, shoved the cure down her throat, and snapped her neck. She collapsed to the ground, dead. The other side is... gone... Damon... Elena... No... No no no no... This can't be happening. Everyone was teary eyed and emotional. There wasn't a single dry eye all around. Strangely enough even Silas faltered, his eyes looking watery.

I'm alive! But- but how? Oh god... Elena... no. I was supposed to look after you! Your mother wanted me to look after you! I've failed! ... I didn't know Damon but I know Elena was close to him... I wouldn't wish this on anybody.

Oh no... How horrible. This Silas guy is a bastard. I'm sorry Stefan. Sorry I couldn't save them. Your brother... and the love of your life. I'm so sorry. I'd rather be dead than see them taken from you... but fates ripped that decision out of my hands... I'm so sorry...

E-Elena?... No... It can't be true! You can't be dead... And Damon too?... No! No, it's not real. Oh god, please be a trick... Oh god... it's not a trick... Damon and my sister are dead... and they're not coming back...She meant everything to me. I'm- I'm... alone.

Oh my god... This isn't happening... My brother... and the love of my life... They- They can't be dead... Oh god... but they are. Elena... Damon... I'm going to miss you both... I wish there was a way that I could bring you back... I wish... I'd give anything. Not them... please not them... oh god... I can't- I can't...

NORMAL POV
Everyone was heartbroken and, at the same time, very angry.
Bonnie: They were my friends and you are going to pay for that!
Everyone nodded and made noises of agreement and charged at Silas, out of anger. A simple wave of his hand and everyone was catapulted backwards.
Silas: Have fun.
They went to charge again... but Silas had disappeared. They noticed that the people they didn't know who had stepped through... had also disappeared... They were left wavering, all unsure of themselves. They sent each other looks and made a silent agreement to go back to the Salvatore Boarding house. They all headed there, and once there, wallowed in their grief, each one finding it impossible to cope. What would this mean now?...
