Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon vol. 2
A/N: This is the much-awaited sequel to Vampire Diaries: Megsy meets Damon. I have seen series two now, and it was frikkin' awesome, so this will be set after most of the events of series two have happened. (Except for Jeremy not dying when he overdosed himself and other events that would interfere with my version of events that followed in the last story) And I'm going to make those events have been set over a year, so David would be one in this story and all the characters would be a year older. This will mostly be about Damon and Megsy's wedding and the events around it. But I'm going to bring the two originals that appeared in series 2 into it. Klaus and Elijah are coming to town. Yay! Let's say Klaus left town after breaking the hybrid curse that was placed on him. And Klaus comes back because he believes that Megsy holds the key to a strong power greater than his as he sees no other way to explain how Megsy had David. But will Elijah be on Klaus's side or Megsy and Damon's? Hopefully he'll be pissed at Klaus for staking him. But you know what they say, blood is thicker than water. And will Klaus put Megsy on edge? It is nice to know that people think these stories are a good read! Please tell me if I have missed anyone I should have thanked. I have a bad habit of focusing on too many things at once, so I'm trying not to do that. I will start writing other fics after I have wrapped up this one, which should hopefully not be too long now. I keep saying 'oh, 3/4 more chapters to go' and now it's like 7 chapters later. I realise I have a whole lot more to add. But this should be wrapped up in a maximum of about 10 chapters... I hope. They now think that it's a two-way sire bond that's causing the Delena
Silas has the tomb stone and the cure. Katherine is now on the Salvatore team. The plain failed.
Silas is apparently someone they already knew! Who could it be? Silas says that he has Megsy. He has his base at what used to be Klaus' house.
Silas killed 36 people to create an expression triangle.
Silas can no longer read the minds of our little gang! Gang includes; Katherine, Elena, Caroline, Jeremy, Tyler, Matt, Rebekah, Stefan and Damon. Silas can still read Bonnie's mind though.
We meet Luke and Liv!
And a whole bunch of people just walked through from the other side and disappeared again... what?
Silas revealed that he's not really Silas. He just took his identity. He told the story of Silas and Amara.
Silas bought Lexi, Alaric and Jenna back to life for good.
Silas killed Damon and Elena! The anchor was revealed... and Silas killed her. So... the other side is gone?
Everyone headed to the Salvatore Boarding House to grieve.

Chapter 34: SURPRISE!
Bonnie, Caroline, Tyler, Katherine, Jeremy, Matt, Rebekah, Stefan, Live and Luke were all at the Salvatore Boarding House. They were all sitting down in complete silence, not speaking to each other. All were grieving. Most were crying.
Caroline:... What do we do now? They... can't just... just be dead...
Bonnie: I know... the other side is gone... but... maybe...
They all turned and looked at her looking hopeful.
Stefan: What is it Bonnie?
Bonnie: Maybe we could... pull them through... before it closes.
They all sat up, looking at her intrigued.
Jeremy: Do you think we could do that?
Jenna: We have to get them back. I'm Elena's guardian. I'm supposed to be responsible for her!
Alaric: So was I. But we were both dead.
Rebekah stood up, looking irritated.
Rebekah: Blame whoever. It doesn't matter. Perhaps we should just focus on the task at hand, yes?
They all shut up and nodded in agreement.
Matt: Right. I think we all agree.
Jeremy: The person we should blame is Silas. So we need to kill the bastard. Right now!
Stefan: Jeremy be smart. We need a plan. Or else he'll kill you too.
Jeremy: We had a plan last time Stefan. Look how that worked out!
Bonnie: You're right.
They turned to look at Bonnie in shock.
Caroline: Huh? Excuse me? Did you really just say that?
Bonnie didn't reply to Caroline. She turned and faced them all.
Bonnie: We don't need a plan. We need a person.
They all looked at her in total confusion.
Bonnie: Think about it. Who's the strongest, smartest person we know?
All of their eyes widened as they realised who she was talking about.
Stefan: Megsy... But Silas has her.
Matt picked up his crossbow and reloaded it.
Matt: Then I say, we get her out.
Caroline: But we don't know where she is.
Katherine: I might. Silas set up his base at Klaus' old house. We should check there.
Stefan: I bet he's keeping her in the cage in the basement.
Katherine: How do you know there's a cage in the basement?
Stefan: Because Megsy and I once locked Damon in it.
Katherine let out a small chuckle.
Katherine: Somehow I just can't imagine that. But it sounds epic.
Caroline: Ok we'll need weapons. Jeremy? You on board?
Jeremy nodded reluctantly.
Jeremy: Fine. But whether we find Megsy or not, I'm going after Silas.
Bonnie: Understood. We're clear.
Jerermy: Good.
They all loaded up with weapons. Matt had his crossbow. Bonnie had her magic. Tyler had his hybrid abilities. And Stefan, Rebekah, Katherine, Caroline and Jeremy all had their vampire abilities.

A SHORT WHILE LATER - KLAUS' BASEMENT
The whole gang walked down into the basement. They found Megsy in the cage, huddled in a ball and crying her eyes out. She was wearing a simple long-sleeved white t-shirt paired with black skinny jeans, her black leather jacket and her black and white airwalk plimsolls. She even had her engagement ring on the designated finger. She'd cut her hair. She now had a thin full fringe that came to just above her eyebrows and feathers at the front. She'd also had a few inches off the ends. Although she was in the cage, the cage was... unlocked... and... the door was open.
Bonnie: Megsy...? Megsy... is that you?
Megsy looked up at Bonnie. She'd stopped crying but her eyes were still watering and you could see how hard she was trying to hold on.
Caroline: Megsy? What's wrong?
Megsy:... I'm an idiot... And I'm worthless...
Caroline reached down and reached her hand out to her friend, but Megsy slapped it away with force. Caroline stood up and backed away in shock. Megsy stood up, looking angry now.
Megsy: You were all idiots to trust me. To help me. You should have killed me while you had the chance. Now... no one can.
Matt: What are you talking about?
Jeremy: Megsy... Why are you acting this way?
Megsy laughed, a little crazily.
Megsy: Haven't you figured it out yet? I've been missing ever since Silas appeared.
Rebekah: We were led to believe Silas had kidnapped you.
Megsy: That's what I wanted you to think! I am Silas!
Jeremy: Then... You killed Elena...
Bonnie:... And Damon...
Caroline: I don't buy it. Megsy loves Damon... She wouldn't- Wouldn't hurt him... You're not... not the real Megsy. You're just... pretending to be... Silas.
Megsy: Oh wake up, Caroline!
Megsy shape shifted and suddenly looked like Caroline, down to the outfit and everything. She changed back to herself after she was sure everyone saw.
Megsy: Yes, I killed Elena. Yes, I killed Damon. Yes, I am the real Megsy. And I can prove it!
Tyler: How?
Megsy: Ask me something only Megsy would know.
Tyler: Silas can read minds. That's not proof.
Caroline: No... he can't read our minds... only Bonnie's... Bonnie! Don't think about Megsy! Think about puppies or something.
Bonnie nodded and did her best to focus her thoughts elsewhere.
Megsy rolled her eyes.
Megsy: Oh, this is ridiculous.
Megsy turned and she was that Lexi was there. Lexi was shaking her head in disappointment and horror.
Lexi: Megsy...
Caroline: You don't- Don't believe her, do you Lexi?
There was a brief pause.
Stefan: Lexi?
Lexi turned to look at Stefan.
Lexi: I'm sorry Stefan. I've been watching from the other side. She's telling the truth.
Lexi turned back to look at Megsy.
Megsy: Hi Sis. Welcome back to life.
Lexi: Thanks for bringing me back. But you can't do this anymore Megsy. You've gone way too far this time.
Megsy: Well, I thought that was obvious.
Megsy spoke casually, trying to brush the whole thing aside.
Lexi: This isn't a joke!
An angry glare glazed over Megsy's eyes.
Megsy: I know!
Jeremy aimed his crossbow at Megsy.
Jeremy: Bring them back right now!
Bonnie: She can't... She killed the anchor?
Megsy smirked, a crazy look in her eyes.
Megsy: Did I?
They all frowned and looked at her confused. Megsy closed her eyes and chanted under her breath. A portal opened and Damon and Elena stepped out. Everyone was frozen in shock. Megsy closed the portal and muttered another chant. Elena and Damon gasped and were obviously part of this world again. Alive. Megsy looked angry and upset, her eyes watering.
Megsy: You want them back? Have them!
Bonnie: But how?
Megsy: Amara's alive. We faked it.
She was about to flash out, when a large group of people appeared in front of them. They all had dark skin tones and were aiming weapons at them.
Rebekah: Who are you people?
The leader stepped forward and smirked.
Leader: We're the travellers. We are the only real, pure source of magic in the world. And we're here to take our town back.
