Echokit can see a blackbird sticking its head into a puddle, shaking its wings out to dry. She giggles as an enormous woodpigeon tries and fails to balance on a slender willow branch. She widens her eyes with astonishment as a squirrel scampers its way up an oak tree. She gasps with horror as she sees the fresh-kill pile for the first time.
