Chapter 11

Tris POV:

It's around dinner time when Oz comes back. I'm expecting her to be glaring and not speaking to me but she seems perfectly normal. It's not right. This is too out of character for her.

"Are you okay?" Christina is the first to crack. It was all making us a little crazy but obviously she couldn't hold it in anymore.

"I'm fine," Oz responds.

It's silent for a little longer. This is creepy. Really creepy.

"Why aren't you yelling at us?!" Christina shouts. Marlene looks very confused. Whoops, forgot to explain that.

"Because I'm done! Okay? I'm just done! Girls are too confusing!" Oz shouts back.

"You're a girl though," I say. Oz shrugs.

"Not one mentally. Mentally I'm a thirteen year old boy," she replies.

The rest of the meal is eerily silent. Christina is shaking slightly and Oz is just staring at a random spot. Her eyes never leave that spot. Seriously, it looks like she's in a trance of some sort.

I'm the first to leave to table.

"I'm going to bed guys. Goodnight," I say.

"Goodnight, Tris." Poor Marlene must be so confused. I'll explain to her tomorrow.

I lie in my bed and soon enough, the world fades into blackness.

Page Break

I wake to a nearly empty dorm. The only person in here is Marlene.

"The others left earlier. Oz and Christina seem to be in a fight. I wonder why?" I sigh, feeling guilty about not informing her of this before.

"Well, Oz kissed Peter and then said that I shouldn't go after Tobias, which ticked both Christina and me off. Christina started yelling about how Oz shouldn't be talking and then Oz left. She came back for dinner, as you saw, and freaked Christina out by not yelling. That's all I know, you can ask them for anything else." Marlene looks less confused now.

"That would explain why Christina started shouting at her this morning to go and visit her 'boyfriend'," she says, "I was wondering why Chrissy would be mad about that. The only conclusion I could come to would be that Oz liked Will, which would be strange considering he doesn't go here."

I shrug.

"That'd be pretty weird. Falling in love with someone you never met. Or you could fall in love with someone and then they get a different identity and,you don't know it's them. That'd be interesting." (AN: LOL)

"Didn't that happen in the Princess Bride?" I nod.

"That's probably how I came up with it." I say. Marlene nods absentmindedly.

She looks at her wrist, probably at her new bracelet, and gasps.

"We're going to be late for class!" she screams. I jump into action and grab all of my books, notes, and such.

We run out of the dorm and go our separate ways. I just barely make it to class on time. There's an empty seat next to Tobias. I go over to sit with him and Zeke. They give each other looks. Zeke winks at Tobias and gives him a look that obviously means "Abort mission!".

Zeke, clearly, misunderstands.

"I think I'll go hang out with my little bro."

Tobias looks panicked. "You hang out with Uriah? Impossible! Why don't you stay here with us?" Zeke winks.

"It's fine. I need some bro bonding time." He then walks away.

"So..."

"How are you?" I ask, trying to break the awkward tension around us.

"Um, pretty good. You?"

"There's a lot of drama going on between Christina and Oz." Tobias gulps at this.

"Really? Why?" He looks scared beyond belief. I shrug. I'm not going to tell him that Oz said I shouldn't like him.

"I don't know. Oz kissed Peter and the she told me I shouldn't have a crush on someone." Tobias perks up at this.

"Who do you have a crush on?" I blush.

"Whey don't you seem shocked it he slightest that Oz kissed Peter? I a supposed to be dating him." I ask, trying to divert him.

"I never liked either of the anyways so I don't really care. Anyways, who do you like?"

"Someone."

"No duh. Is it a boy or a girl?"

"Boy, I don't away that way. Not that there's anything wrong with it!" I add as a last minute idea.

Tobias's mouth is open and it looks like he's going to say something but he is cut off by the teacher yelling, "Class is starting! Everyone open your books to page 35!".

Oz POV:

Uriah, Lynn, and I were joking around when Zeke just randomly sat down next to me.

"What's Captain Z doing here?" Lynn asks sarcastically.

"Captain Z?" Sarcastic or not, that's a horrible nickname.

"It was either that or Captain Loser Pants and that seemed like the less lame choice." I nod. That's valid.

"Anyways, why are you bugging us, bro? Did F-Tobias tell you to leave? He is with Tris." I look Uriah in the eyes, which are widened a little. I nod slightly, letting him know I know.

"What are you guys doing? You look like you're having a mental conversation," Zeke observes. Uriah turns his gaze to him.

"Did you tell her?" Zeke nods.

"What?" Lynn asks.

"Never mind." I say.

"Anyways, I never thought his crush was big enough to tell you to shoo! I thought he certainly would need his wingman, considering how bad he is at interacting with humans." Uriah jokes.

"No matter what he does, Tris will like him. Well, unless he does that, but he won't. He'll just lie and lie." I reply.

"Poor Tris doesn't know the heart break she's gotten herself into."

Yay! That was a horrible chapter but it's done so I'm happy!

If you read Cupids Troubles and read my authors notes you might have seen yesterday night I was convinced I went insane. Well guess what the best part was?! The only reason I was reading that fic was because the author (who is an amazing author, just wrote a fic that was too dramatic for me) kept saying that things would all work itself out in the end, and everyone would be happy. Then, they never finished the fic. They left Sirius in a fight with Remus and James. THAT WAS PURE TORTURE! NEVER AGAIN! NEVER!

Anyways, I decided I should update Typical because I'm leaving for a week and I don't like not updating cause I'm on vacation without telling you guys. Sorry that you'll have to wait for more chapters but on the bright side, this is my last vacation of the year 2014s summer! Yay! Then I'm back to having nothing to do ever besides write and read!
