Years Later
Shikamaru looked back at his life. He thought back to the moment that changed everything. Back then it seemed like just another day. But now he could see the huge affect it had. Many things came out of the chunin exams. It was then when he met the woman he would later marry. Back then he though was so troublesome. The thought back to the day of their fight. He had just laid there looking at the clouds thinking about life and what he wanted. A wife that was pretty but not over the top, a career as a shinobi, two kids a girl first then a boy. How he would retire when his daughter got married and his son had his career as a shinobi.
He was snapped out of this thought by a cry. It was late, he and Temari had just sat down of a bit of tea. The cry came again. It was there sons cry. They had been married for over a year, their son was less then 3 months. He was calm, he barely ever cried. Yoshino said that he was just like Shikamaru when he was a baby and that he would probably be just as lazy. Temari got up to change the baby. She leaned over and gave him a quick kiss.
"Tomorrow your on diaper duty, lazy ass."
"Whatever you say, troublesome." He said with a smile. He resumed his interrupted thought, his life went nothing like he had planned years ago. But they turned out even better, he would change a thing about it. He loved his wife and he loved his child. The most troublesome woman he ever met has been the best thing that had ever have happened in his life.
