A/N: Yes, yes It's been forever and this is short yada yada yada. But since I've ben asked I feel like I should tell you that my updating schedule is going to be erratic. I might have said it before but I was in hospital for a few weeks back in December and that's really the cause of all this mayhem with updating, but I will not bore you to death with all of that. I honestly don't know how my life will be looking so I am not setting a schedule and While I will try to give warning this story might just sit on the back burner for a while if something very pressing occurs. Just wanted to give you all a heads up and I hope you like the next chapter. BTW there is a little swearing but what can I say, I write very expressively.
Previously:
Kim wanted to know more but at that point she really didn't need him to go into detail for risk of her throwing up whatever she still had left in her. "Call the 21st" She mumbled to neither of the twins specifically before she felt the pull of darkness take hold and her last sound heard before she went out like a light was the unmistakable sound of a person tripping over multiple things, taking down a land with them, and then proceeding to fall on a pile of other things.
Now:
Alex and Jacob tripped over each other trying to find the one phone in the dingy workshop. They knocked things over until finally Alex stood up waving the old fashioned handset over his head. "I've got it, I've got it!" He yelled.
"Hey, give it to me!" Jacob exclaimed angrily, after all wasn't the older sibling superior.
"Nope!" Alex called back already starting to dial 911. Being the way twins are Jacob sprinted across the floor knocking down two lamps and a stack of books before hitting the button to put the phone on speaker.
"000, what is you emergency?" The operator asked.
"Hi uhhh so my, like, brother and I kinda, like" Alex tried to explain but couldn't find his words.
"Ugh, let me speak you idiot." Jacob said grabbing the receiver. "There's a cop here and she's like hurt I guess.."
"You guess?" The operator asked all too sure it was a prank call.
"Yeah, wait….no. Yeah, no she's definitely hurt" Jacob responded.
"Okay, do you know the officer's name?"
"Her uniform says Burgess"
"Alright, what's your address so I can send an ambulance."
"Alex, Alex, mate what's our address?" Jacob asked trying to muffle the receiver.
"Why are you asking me, aren't you the brilliant one?"
"Okay, Okay jeez no need to be rude about it." Jacob mumbled, jogging around to the front for a house number. "The address in 1240 Waterfront Avenue." He spoke back towards the Emergency Operator.
"An ambulance is on it's way."
Jacob quickly doubled back to the house warning Alex and trying to rouse the nice officer.

In the bullpen Ruzek quickly moved up the stairs after receiving info from Sergeant Platt. Beginning to yell from the last landing he said "They found Burgess, get your asses up and over to Chicago Med."
However what should have been happy was not. Sean and Jay's situation was getting much worse and things were going as far off plan as possible. Voight had wanted the officers home safe and sound or at least in a hospital yesterday but they seemed to be in a more perilous situation.
The newest video had been sent from their captors, Lindsay couldn't bring herself to watch some of it.
While they stared intently at the opening blank screen voices appeared in the background. "You think you're tough army man? Check out what we did to your little girlfriend." The man almost cackled and a video link appeared. Typing it into a computer showed the team when was being shown to their officers and it wasn't pretty.
Images full of terror and pain. Directed at Jay. Photos of Erin covered in blood, dirt, sweat. Photos of her in captivity. Phtot with a gun to her head and the team knew. No, they didn't care that clearly Jay and Erin were involved. And no, they didn't even care that the photos were definitely altered. A weak voice recognizable as Jay's only by the sentiment expressed came through the original video which was forgotten in the background. "What do you want from me?"
And the jarring one word answer with enough sincerity to knock anyone out of their boots "Pain."
Cutting off there the video had shocked everyone. Not only were the captors as crazy as had been thought but the officer was breaking. Mouse knew what had happened and he would not let it happen again.
"Jay! Jay! Get outa there dumbass" Their captain had called out to him. He hasn't moved and the next thing Mouse knew his best friend had been carried off into a field hospital in Kandahar because he couldn't get rid of the memories. The next thing Mouse knew his best friend has BSed his way out of a psychologist's office and ended up on a battlefield not caring about the final outcome.
But what none of them knew was that the video only showed half the story, In fact the true extent of that session between officers and captors had gone on for much longer than the seven minute video insinuated.
A/N: Well this is about to get intense and remember nothing is set in stone if you have a great idea PM me or tell me about it in the comments I could potentially work it into my story. And yes Comments are much appreciated.
