The bell finally rang for lunch as Mira made a mad dash out of the classroom. She was starving, having missed breakfast due to sleeping past her alarm. Yes, she ate a banana on her mad dash out the door but it wasn't enough to stop her stomach from growling all through her class. Making her way to the cafeteria, she was one of the first people to sit down and start eating before a mad rush of students came flooding through the door.
She sat at their usual table on the far side of the room, constantly glancing at the door while she took bites of her sandwich. It took a while before she saw Runo make her way through the door with Julie and Fabia at her side.
"Runo, I still don't understand this whole levers thing when it comes to sport." Mira could hear Julie say to their blue haired friend. "Seriously why do we have so many?"
"We only have three Julie." Runo said as she laughed. Beside her Mira could see Fabia giggling.
'Its nice to see Fabia is starting to relax around us, even though she has only been here for a couple of days.' Mira thought as the three girls sat in the empty seats around her and taking out their lunches.
"Aw man, I'm never going to understand this." Julie said with a sigh.
"Its okay. I will help you study this unit." Runo replied to the silver haired girl, it was the last thing Mira heard of the conversation before noticing a mint haired boy walk though the cafeteria doors. Mira couldn't help but admire him. The way he walked so gracefully, the way he laughed, everything about him was so carefree and Mira craved that. Mira couldn't help herself wanting to go back to the days when they were young, and they were both carefree. Back to the days where they could be themselves, where they could laugh and play together, where they didn't fight over the stupidest of little things... where she could be herself around him...
The boy made his way over to the table which had his group of friends. He took a seat and was barely their five seconds before he had a certain short hair girl clinging to his arm.
Boy, did Casey make her blood boil.
Mira hated the fact that she admired that Casey. She was annoying as hell but somehow she had Ace wrapped around her finger, or more of her claw. Mira could see why Ace was drawn to her but. Her short hair was fluffy and bounced whenever she walked. Just like Tiffany and Makenzie, she had the body of a fashion model and Mira envied that. Casey was carefree and could always be herself around Ace, they never fought but were always seen laughing and smiling at each other. Mira knew she was down right jealous of Casey, and she hated herself for being so.
"... Mira, Mira. MIRA!" She was cut from her day dreaming by the three girls around her calling her name.
"What?!" She asked the girls around her.
"You were day dreaming again, staring in a certain boys direction." Runo said pointing in the direction of where Ace was sitting with Casey.
"Ohhhhh, looks like someone is still not over a certain somebody." Julie teased. Mira hissed at her as her cheeks because red from embarrassment. She said to herself last year that she would try to get over him before the new school year but no matter how had she tried, she couldn't. Nothing worked and nothing could get Ace off her mind or out of her heart.

Ace could see her from where he sat with Dan and the others. Their table was on other sides of the room but he could easily spot her where she sat with her friends. Boy he wished he could do over there and talk to her, but there was something clinging to his arm or more someone.
Casey.
He was hoping that she wasn't at school today but there she was rubbing her cheek up and down his arm like a cat looking for attention. She was talking to him about something but he wasn't really paying attention. Quickly turning his head he noticed that Ren had the same problem with the other twin, Tiffany. He never really understood why the two twins had taken a liking towards both Ren and himself.
'Boy, Dan and Billy are so lucky they don't have a girl problem like this.' Ace thought as he noticed the two boys laughing and joking with Shun, who, by far, was worse situation that the situation Ren and Ace were in combined.
"Hey! Aren't you listening to me?!" The girl beside him huffed and pouted.
"Sorry." He said nervously, taking his hand and scratching his head, laughing off the situation. She turned back to her position, before letting go of him. Knowing it was odd, Ace turned and saw why the girl had moved.
It was to greet Makenzie.
Casey rushed to her "friend's" side, while helping her bring her belongings to the table. As much as Casey annoyed him, he hated seeing how Makenzie treated her.
"Helloooo." The blonde haired girl sung to table before walking to Shun and sitting down be side him. As Ace swung his body around to the table, he could see four girls eyes, including those of Mira's staring at their table.
'Why?' Ace thought as he looked at Makenzie and Shun. 'She isn't even worth it.'

"Do you guys know what Alice had just then?" Runo asked finishing her lunch. Its not like Alice to be late, she was yesterday but that was a once off like she said.
'Maybe she got caught up in one of her classes.' Runo thought taking another glance at the table where Dan sat. He was laughing with Billy as usual.
"She said she had Science. May it was a lecture that just went over time." Fabia said quietly finishing her lunch too. "I'm sure she won't be too much longer."
"Yeah, you're right." She replied to the dark blue haired girl that sat across from her, laughing off her nervousness about her friend.
"She better get here quickly." Julie stated. "I hardly get to see her during the day anymore!"
"Yeah, but that's because she is excelling in most of her classes." Mira laughed at the silver haired girl.
"Hey guys," Fabia said looking over in the direction of a certain blonde haired girl. "Is that-"
"Yep," Runo said cutting her off. "That is Makenzie. Apparently our queen. I'm sure Mira warned you about her yesterday. I have no clue why and I don't really care but she wasn't here yesterday. So yep, that's her in the flesh. Don't mess with her, she is trouble. Trust me." Saying that reminded her of everything she had put Julie, Alice, Mira and herself through. Alice received the worse of it due to how close Shun and her were at the time.
'She has hated us ever since she has started at this school. I hope nothing serious happens to us this year.' Runo thought taking another glare at her groups rival.

'Oh no!' Alice thought as she rushed out of her classroom. 'Julie is going to kill me.' Alice's lecture in her last class when over time and was cutting into her lunch. She didn't have many classes with her friends this year and Julie made it clear that lunch was the main time that they would get to hang out while they where at school. Julie didn't want anyone to be late.
Throwing her things into her locker, Alice rushed for the cafeteria. She didn't want to keep any of her friends waiting for her anymore. Making her way to the door she collected herself before entering. Making her way though the doors she scanned the room, looking for an empty seat or even better, her friends.
They had changed spots since last year, due to Makenzie and her group dictating where everyone had to sit.
Glancing around the room she finally spotted her friends waving to her and she started her journey to them. Not watching where she was going, she didn't notice that one of the boys on the first row of tables had stuck their leg out, and she tripped over it, making her lunch go all over the front of her and scattering out onto the floor in front of her. She didn't want things to get worse but they did. A boy from behind her managed not to notice the incident that just happened and tripped on her legs, making his food fly everywhere, including onto her back and all through the back of her hair.
She felt heat rise to her face and tears well up in her eyes and she heard everyone around her laughing at her. She untangles her legs and tried to stand up but just ended up slipping and onto her backside due to the mixture of food mushed on the floor. Looking down at the ground she didn't bare to look up as she saw shadows coming across her.
"Your are always making a mess of everything." A certain voice said from above, still laughing at her. Alice would recognise that voice from anywhere.
It was Makenzie's.
Alice tried looking up at her, but could only see a flash.
"Say cheese." She said and with that a click came from her phone.
Alice couldn't take another second of this, another second of this humiliation, of this embarrassment, of all the laughing. She scooted herself backwards and away from the mush on the floor. So she could run, runaway from all this. As Alice left the room she could hear more clicks coming from the phone used to take the first picture. Alice kept running and running, tears streaming down her face, as she made her way to the girls bathroom and locked herself in one of the cubicles.

'Oh no!' Julie's thoughts echoed. She couldn't believe what was happening. She didn't think the three other girls around her could either. Alice was on the ground, covered in food and Makenzie and her friends were laughing at her taking pictures, has everyone else pointed at the poor orange hair girl and laughed along.
'How dare she!' Runo thought her eyes showing her rage. She didn't think Makenzie could go this low. Public humiliation should be enough but Runo knew exactly what the evil blonde haired girl was going to do with the pictures on her phone.
'Why?' Mira thought feeling sorry for the girl at the centre of all the commotion. She knew Makenzie hated Alice but enough is enough.
'Poor Alice.' Was all Fabia could think, still in shock about the incident playing out. Fabia quickly glanced over to the table where Ren was sitting. All five boys looked over in shock as well, not laughter came at all from their table once Makenzie and her friends had moved. Out of the five boys, Shun looked the most on edge, his eyes read anger as he remained in his normal composure trying to not give his true feelings away. Then she looked at Ren he looked gobsmacked, trying to turn away from the action he met her gaze, their eyes connected for a single moment, before both students turned their heads back to what was the main event. By the time Fabia looked back, Alice was on her feet and out the door. Makenzie still laughing and clicking away until Alice was out of sight.
"Come on!" Runo said sharply. As all four girls made their way to the same door Alice went out of.
"Don't slip over too, or we might all die of laughing attacks!" the girls heard the voice of Tiffany called. Ignoring the comment, the girls hearts and souls were devoted to finding Alice.
"Any ideas where she would be?" Fabia asked, not having a clue on where to start looking. The three other girls looked at each other nodding their heads, as if they could read each others minds.
"Follow us." Mira said as Runo and Julie started racing off down the hall. As they ran the lockers and classroom doors because a blur as they ran as fast as they could, to where they hoped their friend would be. Up one set of stairs and down another the girls finally made their way to a bathroom on the furthers side of the school. Huffing and puffing they entered trying to catch their breaths.
"Alice?" Runo called quietly. On entrance to the bathroom only one cubical door was closed. Quiet sobs came from the other side of the door as each of the four girls pressed an ear each up to the toilet door.
"Alice. Its okay." Runo said quietly. "We are all here to help you, Julie, Mira, Fabia and myself. There is no one else here, I promise."
"It will be okay Alice. You will always have us to help you." Mira added to Runo's words. The sobs became louder on the other side of the door. Fabia could feel her heart breaking for Alice, nobody deserved to be treated the way she just did. It wasn't fair at all.
"Please come out," Julie said. "We are all here to help you." On the other side of the door everything became quiet. But before long a click came from the door and it swung open slowly. Alice stood there in front of them, looking defeated as if she had been battling in a war. Her curly hair had food clinging to it, her cheeks were crimson red, just like her eyes. Her clothes were covered in food and what broke Fabia was to see that Alice had no smile anymore. The one thing that she was always greeted with was that wonderful smile that could light up anyone day. Alice sunk to her knees and began to cry again, but this time was different due to the comfort that was placed by her own friends.
Shun: WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ALICE!? *ninja stars come out ready to fire*
