Footsteps quietly entered the room turning the lights on. She takes a chair standing in the corner and drags it out of it's place, she turns to the cell as the creaking echos in the half empty room. Picking it up she places it next to the bed. She bends over leaning her face against the glass cover and with a slight smile on her face.

"Hey Shadow," she began in a whisper, checking if there was any reaction, "I'm here again." Nine. Slightly louder she continues, "Your Big sis, Maria..." it flickered by her, a younger hedgehog who still had trouble with pronunciation. "When are you going to wake up, sleepy head? Alot of things happened in the past week," she stopped thinking what would shadow's reaction be if he could tell her off, she swallowed a grasp of air before continuing. "I... lied... to Sonic and his friends." Deep inside she felt bitter. "It was their birthday... They had to be happy on a day like that, right?" She felt her heart sink from the lack of responce, "I told them... you will wake up in a week... and I think I hoped so too, but.. you're still speeeping, aren't you?"

Several rooms over Rouge was trying to disstract herself by painting her nails. "I can't belive it!" she began talking to her reflection in Sonia's mirror. She glanced at the pair of earings left behid on the table. Sonia was furious when Eggman attacked the next day after their birthday. The team stormed off after him leavin her, Maria, Shadow, Cream and Cheese behind by , Shadow was adiffrent story all together.

Thud, Thud. Thud.

"Who was up so late at night?" Her first assumption was Cream getting a drink, untill she realized she was fast asleep on Sonia's royal bed.

Peaking around the corner Rouge witnessed a strange seen, "Maria?" The figure turned, it was her. In her arms was Shadow- out of the pod and wrapped in blankets like a baby.

"DON'T TRY TO STOP ME!" Cream barely silenced her gasp as she spied on the situation, "I know how to wake him up... I think..."

"Oh do you? Then explain!"

"Fine.. Come with me then, I'll explain on the way," she clanced at the door. "You too, Cream, Cheese"

As they followed Maria to the cortyard Rouge had several questions: "So you think there is the right madecation still on the ark which you could use?"

"That's the idea"

"But that's on earth!"

"I'm a chaos emerald, I'm sure I have enough power to get us there. "Will you... come with me?"

MEANWHILE ON EARTH!

As you guessed- surely enough eggman's machien was dodgy so it caused adisturbance on Earth.

Many people aged backwards over the cource of several years which has stopped at the point where Chris was 16 again. (He and Hellen are still marrried)

Many diseases suddenly got cured with no logical explanation.

As they arrived on the ark which was in energy saving mode at the time they headed straight for the labs. Cream and Cheese got themseled comfy on the chairs and kept themselves disstracted by spinning around on them.

"So you're going to put shadow and the medicine inside that thing?" she pointed at he jumbo glass tube with control pannels and wires all around it.

"It's the only thing we can do now" she carefully placed shadow inside and put a gas mask o his face.

"Are you positive it will work?"

"60% positive"

"THAT NUMBER IS TOO RISKY! Maria, are you sure there is no..."

"This is the only option we have left!" She stormed off to the door, "I'm going to turn the systems on to full power, we need to get everything back online!"

"There she goes again!" Rouge watched Maria run out the door remembering how- as Hope- she kept doing the exact same thing. The monitors and lights started up, "Well that was fast..." was the comtrol room that close?

"IT WAS'NT ME!" Exclaimen Maria as she rushed back in.

"So we're not alone?"

"Where did Cream and Cheese go!?"

"I'll go look for them, you need to help you little brother out."

"Thanks, Rouge..."

As Rouge went off she hears Cream's happy squeels "CHRIS!"

"I can't believe you're here!" said a female voice, "It's been so long!"

"What are you doing here?"

Hearing Chris's voice rouge finally decided to come out aswell "Trying to save Shadow the Hedgehog..."

"ROUGE!"

"Now, is it you guys who put the systems back online or are there other people here?"
