It has been 3 days since we arrived on the ark. Shadow got better quickly but Marria is still concerned for his health so she placed him inside a "safety bubble" which really looks like a giant hamster ball. Let's just say he is grumpier than usual. Chris and Hellen became our comunication with the surface. The authorities have alot of questions to Maria.

"Mariaaaaa..." whined Shadow as he wobbled over in the bubble.

Crossed with his constant complains she shooded him off, "Not now Shadow..."

She was not alone, right beside her was Chris handing her over documents, "Oh! Hi Shadow!"

Sparing a glance he mumbled back, "Hi.." He stood on the spot for a while waiting for Chris to say something. "Bye then.." Shadow could not run quickly inside the jumbo rubber hamster ball which strangely enough was keeping it's shape.

"Is this his.. normal behavour?" Chris looked to Maria for answers as he never w=saw a depresed Shadow the hedgehog.

"Huh?" she glanced up from the papers, "But ofcource... well... When he's grumpy. Why are you asking?"

"It's nothing," He felt that he saw a diffrent side of him.

But Maria's head was filled with a diffrent thought.

I'm so sorry we left you all alone... Papa...

"STOP THE SHIP!" Scread Amy at the top of her lungs.

"We've been heavily hit! We need to go for a crash landing! Ths is our best chance!" Tails said to his mothpiece to pass on the message.

"For the first time all Sonic could do was stand there and stare, "Since when can Eggman... TELEPORT!" but that was when he remembered the words of that millitary guy: Dr Eggman stole very valuable prototypes from our labs...

"Is this because of the prototypes?" exclaimed Sonya as she rushed to Sonic, she deffinetly caught the same idea. "SONIC! MANIC! I say we hit him wih everything we've got!"

Manic was already lying over on his hoverboard, "Right behind you, sis"

"Let's do this!"

Calling out the force of their medalions thransforming their musical instruments into weapons.

As the triplets prepared to fire away, Tails noticed what was up, "GUYS! STOP!"

He was too late, the power increaded by the chaos emeralds fired right at Eggman's machiens which absorbed the power.

"Good Job, Rodents! Now I can deal with ALL OF YOU!"

The weapon fired back the power with even more force, constantly muntiplying.

FLASH

"MARIA!" Shouted Shadow, "TAKE A LOOK OUTSIDE!"

"What is it this time?"

Chris turned to the window floowing the direction in which Shadow pointed, "No way. It can't be." He knew the ship so well after beig on it for a while. The ship Sonic and his friends traveled on for so long ws now beaten up all over. "What happened?"

"Don't know... But we should check it out."

Amy opened her eyes and was not sure whether she was really concious, "Is that... EARTH? but how?"

"That's what I want to know..." behind her was Rouge the bat trying to pull her out of her collapsed seat.

"Rouge?" how did she get to Earth? Why are they here?

A voice rand from behind as Maria's figgure hovered over, "How is she?"

"I'm okay."

"Looks like you are the only one concious. Come on up, You should get a drink with Cream and Cheese."

The door was busted open from inside as Knuckles emerged, "What is going on here?"

"Maria!" came a voice with a tone of complaint, "Do I have to pull this guy out?" Shadow was ointing at Sonic lying on the ground unconsious.

"SHADOW?! You're okay!"

"Who let you out of your bubble?"

Shadow pointed to the luminator of the ark where Chris gave an appologetic wave.

"What am I missing here?"

"Nothing much, Knuckles, anyways, Shadow and Maria will be wiring your ship to the ark since it needs support to stay in orbit."

"Shadow, Just get everyone inside, will you?"

"Fine..."
