DISCLAIEMER! I DO NOt OWN ANYTHING!
The wind bashed against Maria's face as Shadow raced off towards the Thorndike mansion. It did not matter what people said, he was still her little brother. As they got to the front of the gate. Letting Maria down to the ground.
Shadow's stone cold stare was the same as ever to most people, he could hide the fact that he was worried so easily.
Maria reached for the bell but the gates opened already. Shadow, swiftly picking up Maria strolled off tho the front of the garage.
"Welcome" said Chris as he turned to them from trying to follow the conversation between Amy and the triplets.
"What's going on?" Asked Maria.
"Something about a rust bucket..."
"We are talking about THE rust bucket," said Manic as he walked towards then, "thanks for letting me crash, Shadow."
"It's no big deal"
"I'm just saying, if we could have the rust bucket we void have everything we need stored with us," pointed out Sonia, "I do have a motorbike and I'm pretty sure Sonic wants his banjo back."
"Yeah, but how can you bring it down here from the Ark?" Amy just could not think how attached they were to an old van.
"Um..." Came a sound from the side and everyone turned to see Maria and Shadow who just arrived, "Shadow could 'beam' it down"
Shadow raised his eyebrow, "I haven't done it in a while..."
Sonic e raised an eyebrow, "You can?"
"He hasn't done such long distances before though," said Maria.
Shadow Folded his arms, deciding to think of the bigger matters at hand. Where did I come from then? he thought as he lened agained the garage walls. It was a familiar feelig, like the times he wtched Papa do work in the lab, always telling him to go off an do something fun, but Shadow wanted to be there if he needed it. He remembered how many times he tried to build new robots and constantly fixed themwhen something went wrong, the result would be completly diffrent from the original. But the fun they in the process- from picking the colour of the parts to choosing the best changes possible to increase efficiency. He remembered the ocasion sad look he would ccatch in his eyes- "If only I met you two earlier..." he would mutter.
"So should Shadow atleast give it a go?" asked Manic.
"Huh?"
"Oh, come on, it's no biggie?" Maria attempted to convince him.
"Alright..." he turned to Manic, "How big is it?"
