As they gazed at the old van they were convinced, they sure weren't joking when they called it a rust bucket. The old Minivan was well taken care off, but if you looked at the seems and joints filled with rust and the munber of scratches and dents in the surface you could tell that this ride has seen many things.

Shadow remembered the files from Modius, how many of these were made by papa's robots?

"I thnk you can manage it," said Maria tying to break the scilence, "Not without my help ofcourse."

"But... Don't you wonder..."

"Huh..."

"It's nothing..."

"Shadow." she glared at him, "Spit it out."

"I mean, do you wonder why papa was like that?" Shadow let his thoughts out.

Maria looked down to her feet, "I do..."

"It's hard to believe he was like that..."

"To us, maybe," continued Maria as she began pasing up and down the room, "To us- he was our sweet and kind papa, to other-..."

"... A genius mad scientist..." replie Shadow as he traced one of the dents with his finger.

"Come on, let's get this over with."

As they landed they were surrounded by a vast plane of land covered with green grass and a lot of tall grey buildings around them. The space was empty and the sun set in the distance. Unsure of where to go Jazmine tried to get some kind of reaction of Silver.

"Hey! They have oxygen here!"

"Were you not the one crying a moment ago?" replied Silver as he held back a step and bent over to pick up the empty potato chip packet and through it in the bin.

"I thought they were dead, Silv! I feel more relaxed now that I know they are here" said Jasmine letting herself twirl and stretch bit.

"And what if he was lying?"

Jazz stooped in her tracks, took a deep breath and asked rolling her eyes, "So what are we doing now, Silver."

He held out his hand and brething out lowdly in annoyance Jasmine took it. Her brother picked her up like a princess and dashed off. She watched the streets change, catching colours, sounds, smells of a diffrent world she hasn't been to before. It was an exiting feeling. Her scences tingled with delight as she caught a sniff of something like chilli dogs. Wondering what it was she remembered the time when Sonia got Sonic a tofu dog to get to him, but gave it to Jasmine by accident.

Silver stopped.

"Why are we stopping?" exclaimed Jasmine in confusion as returned back to reality.

Still carrying his sister Silver walked towards a small shop displaying newspapers and magazines, the headlines on most of the newspapers were similar to "Return of Sonic and the gang".

As Jasmine got down to her feet she could not help but smirk, "Well, they are here alright."
