Silver continued running as he saw a familiar blue streak dash towards them. It passed by for a couple of meters and turned around catching up to speed.
"Hey there"
"Shh!"
Sonic stared at the girl resting in Silver's arms. "How long have you been at it?"
"Since last night... I think"
"So about two days?"
"What took you so long?"
"Is that a question to ask a speedster?"
Silver's expression remained neutral.
"Follow me"
Hellen watched the two streaks pass through the front gate. But before she could great them she noticed Cream and Sonia with what looked like hotdogs piling up in heaps on two plates. Sonia turned to Silver, "Welcome, now eat before Jazz and Sonic devour the lot"
The dark red and blue hedgehog shot up, "Is that?"
"Fresh hot and still steaming chilli dogs" advertised Manic as he brought out plate number three
Cream stared at the guests.
"Cream," began Sonic, "This is Silver and that's his sister Jasmine, last time they visited you went home"
"Nice to meet you, Mr Siver, Miss Jasmine"
"Nice to meet you too!" Jasmine looked up at Helen, "and you"
"Hellen."
"Jasmine, and the antisocial boy there is my brother- Silver"
"Greetings"
"He's weird"
Silver closed his eyes shaking his head in disbelief.
Tails studied each unit in detail as they moved along the corrridior. There was a total of 47 machines with most being improved versions of an orginal desighn. Training and security bots desinghned for perfect efficiency.
"Now, we should check the latest models for functionallity and replce any inefficient parts. We can use the rest as resources"
