Hey guys, I'm sorry for not updating before the new year began but my winter break has been hectic and I started to write this at school during lunch. Just so you guys know, I don't know how many chapters in but you guys are going to kill me when I post a certain chapter in this story but don't worry it won't be until maybe three or four chapters after this I don't know. So here we go

Warnings: possible swearing, my own characters of this story, possible characters out of character and then back in character, fluff, and random stuff.

Ciel's point of view

"Sebastian!" I yelled. As we fell, Sebastian grabbed me and held me tightly while he flipped us over so he would be the first to hit the ground and soon we hit the bottom with a loud thud.

"Ciel," Sebastian said, sitting up as I groaned. "Are you injured anywhere?"

"I'm fine," I said, standing up and looking around. "Hey, are you alright?" I said walking up to Sango who was laying on her stomach from the fall as Inuyasha, who was on his back near Sango, got up and started to rub his shoulder.

"Yeah," Sango groaned painfully as she slowly pushed herself up to a sitting position. "Just a bit disoriented."

"Yes, we did fall down quite a long way," I said, looking up at the hole we fell down.

"Kagome!" Inuyasha yelled down the cave's tunnel.

"Shut up!" I yelled. "We don't know wants down here, we don't need to alert everyone about our presence and attract unwanted attention from the things that might be down here," I scolded angrily.

"He's right, Inuyasha," Sango looked over at him. "And don't worry, Kilala caught her with Miroku and Shippo."

"Who says I'm worried!" I rolled my eyes, it's quite obvious he was worried about her even though he tries to deny it.

"Believe what you wish, Inuyasha," She sighed, standing up on her feet and stretched. "Let's just focus on finding the others," She walked over to her hiraikotsu and putting it on her back.

"I agree, the sooner we find them the better," I said walking down the tunnel. Everything was silent of the first five minutes of walking down the rock corridor-like tunnel before the same rumbling from before, when the floor caved in, broke the silence. Suddenly, a rock wall formed between us from the floor, splitting the four of us apart.

"Sebastian!" I yelled, pounding on the rock with my fist. "Damn it," I cursed, moving away from the wall. "I guess it couldn't have been avoided considering all that has happened so far," I sighed, shaking my head.

"Don't worry, we'll meet up with them again, we just need to find a way around the wall," Sango said looking around.

"Who says I'm worried?" I said, turning around and walking away from the wall. "Sebastian is fully capable of being alone, he's not some puppy that needs to be taken care of constantly," I continued as I turned my head towards her. "Just because he's my butler doesn't mean I am completely dependent on him to do everything, not like some blonde brat I know. I am Ciel Phantomhive, son of Vincent, I won't let something so meager get to me when I am completely capable of being on my own and protecting myself."

"But what about Sebastian?" Sango said, catching up to me as we continued to walk down the tunnel. "He must be worried about your safety and your child's safety."

"Indeed, he must be, doesn't mean he'll let it get to him," I said calmly. "Sebastian is a grown man and a demon at that, he can take care of himself and he'll come to me when I'm in such a danger that threatens both our safeties."

"I see."

"Though, I am concerned about leaving those two alone for a long period of time, we can only hope they find the others before us."

"Why?"

I smirked. "Sebastian strongly dislikes dogs."

"Now that's my master," Sebastian smirked, stepping away from the wall.

"Step aside," Inuyasha said walking up to the wall, taking the tensaiga out of its sheath. "I'll break down the wall with tensaiga."

"That would not be wise," Sebastian said. "Given the current situation, there's no telling what could happen from the after math of your plan. If we wish to reunite with the others, it's best that we find a way around this wall."

"Fine," Inuyasha growled, putting the tensaiga back in its sheath.

"Excellent, now I suggest we find lady Kagome first, she should be with Miroku, Shippo, and Kilala," Sebastian stated as he began to walk away from the wall and down the tunnel, that lead us to this point, Inuyasha following. "Once we regroup with them, we can then start headings towards finding my master and lady Sango."

"You're taking this surprisingly well."

"What ever do you mean?" Sebastian said calmly.

"Being separated from that boy."

"What are you getting at, if I may ask?"

"You two seemed to be joined at the hip or something," Inuyasha shrugged. "But right now you don't seem to care what-so-ever happens to that child."

"On contrary, my master doesn't like to be dependent on anyone's help, always acting like an adult rather than his age, and rarely showing sentiment thinking it is a sign of weakness," Sebastian smirked. "Bocchan is more than capable of taking care of himself when I am not at his side, if he wasn't able to do such, he wouldn't be capable of being the head of his family and taking over the role of his father as the Queen's guard dog while keeping his father's company running and successful. My master is anything but a child."

"I didn't need his whole life story."

"Don't you feel the same way about lady Kagome?"

"Aren't you concerned for her safety?"

"I don't need to answer that," Inuyasha snapped.

"But you do feel the need to protect her with your life, thus the reason you stay by her side, I feel the same way for my master," Sebastian said. "My first priority is my master's safety just like his first priority is to the Queen, but his priority is different from mine for the simple fact that we have an intimate relationship."

"Why do you keep calling him "master" if you two are mates?"

"Because he is my master and I am his loyal servant, but our bond is much stronger and different from one that is considered normal," He explained. "Our relationship is as you say we are lovers, or in this time mates, I protect my master because I deeply care for him not just because of the contract. I have been at his side for four years, almost five, it was only one year and a half ago that out relationship took this turn and we have to be careful when we express how we truly feel towards each other," Sebastian explained, a soft smile on his face.

"Why?"

"A master and a servant relationship is forbidden in our time, thus I've grown accustom to calling him such," Sebastian sighed. "Now if you're done asking questions, let's focus on finding the others, shall we?"

"Alright."

"Ciel," Sango said breaking the silence around us.

"What?"

"How did you and Sebastian meet?"

"I thought I told you and the others what happened."

"You did but..."

"You want a more detailed explanation?"

"Yes, I do."

"Why?" I asked calmly.

"I just want to understand and know you better," Sango said. "I feel like I hardly know you and believe it or not, I'm concerned about you, I guess you sort of remind me of my little brother before everything that has happened to us," She smiled sadly.

"What do you mean?"

"They way you act sometimes, even though you don't show it a lot you actually care about the people around you, especially Sebastian," She smiled fondly as I blushed. "The connection you two share is amazing, I admire how strong it is that it makes me sort of jealous since the man I love is a womanizer," Sango sighed. "But even then I know he loves me more than any other woman."

"It wasn't like that in the beginning," I bluntly stated.

"What do you mean?" She asked worriedly.

"Back then, I was nothing but a helpless brat shortly grieving over his dead parents, I had lost everything within a single day, my parents, my home, my happiness, and my pride was destroyed. Sometimes I wonder why Sebastian is still by my side after ever everything I've done in the past, even though he's a demon, the things I had done must of surprised him," I said calmly. "When I first made the contract with Sebastian I was nothing more than a meal to him, the only reason he stayed by my side was to get my soul and that was it."

"The day I met Sebastian was the day I summoned him, I was ten years old when I made the contract."

"It still shocks me at how young you were when you made the contract," Sango sighed. "Why did you make the contract?"

"Revenge," I said. "I wanted to make those bastards suffer the same fate I had, I wanted them to pay for what they did to me and I wanted the angel that put me through all that pain to rot in hell."

"An angel?"

"Yes, this angel was a lunatic, she considered everything to be impure and believed she could make the impure "pure" again," I rolled my eyes. "She was the one that killed my parents so I returned the favor, looking back now, I still would have made the contract. I didn't regret making the contract then and I certainly don't now."

"No child should have gone through that experience," Sango said sadly.

"I agree, but it doesn't matter now, she's dead and I'm alive."

"I see you must have strayed from your group," A voice said causing us to stop walking.

"Yes, so very tragic but what I want to know is how you know that," I said calmly.

"I saw what happened from afar."

"Who are you? Show yourself."

"I am Jeido, priestess of this mountain," She said, appearing in front of us. She had bright green hair that was tied back by a ribbon, reaching her waist and her eyes were vibrant orange.

"I'm Sango and this is Ciel," Sango said.

"Yes, I know who you are and I know why you are here," Jeido said calmly before turning her back to us and gesturing for us to follow. "Come."

"No, this doesn't seem the least bit suspicious," I said sarcastically.

"If she wanted to kill us, she would have done it by now," Sango replied. "It's best if we follow her for now."

"Fine," I sighed, following Sango and Jeido further into the mountain.

"Another dead end," Miroku sighed, turning around and walking away from the dead end.

"I wonder if everyone is alright," Kagome said as Kilala rested on her shoulder. "I do hope they don't end up in a fight."

"Yes, I agree," Miroku said as Shippo climbed up on his shoulder.

"I hope they don't run in to any demons," Shippo said.

"Yeah, but Inuyasha and Sango can take care of themselves while Ciel has Sebastian," Miroku stated.

"Did anyone hear that?" Kagome said stooping in her tracks.

"Hear what, Kagome?" Shippo asked as Miroku stopped walking.

"It sounds like foot steps," She said as the sound of footsteps grew closer and closer.

"Who's there?" Miroku said loudly.

"It's us, Miroku," Inuyasha replied as the two came into the light.

"It's good to see you you two again," Kagome smiled, but her smile soon faded. "Where's Sango and Ciel?"

"We were separated when we went looking for you," Inuyasha explained.

"Is something wrong, Sebastian?" Miroku asked while Sebastian walked up to the wall rock, placing his ear on it and smirk.

"The spring is on the other side of this wall," Sebastian explained, moving away from the wall. "There we should find my master and lady Sango."

"How can you tell?" Kagome asked.

"I always know where my master is because of the contract also," He said. "I can hear the faint sound of a waterfall, though it is just small enough that the sound is barely audible.

"So we need to find a way to the other side," Inuyasha commented.

"Correct."

"But how?" Shippo asked. "This place is like a maze."

"This way," Sebastian said walking off.

I hope you guys liked this chapter, review if you want more.
