So Natalee, you're not a morning person? How bad of a not morning person are you?
Billie- *starts laughing*
Natalee- Are you laughing about the treadmill story?
Nikki- Oh my god! I remember that!
*FLASHBACK*
It was around eight thirty when Billie and Natalee entered the small gym in the junior wing of the helicarrier. The blonde girl had a dark blue tank top with black and light blue running shorts while Natalee had a red tank top with a black sports bra and black shorts. Natalee groaned as she followed Billie into the small gym. "Why are we up this early?" She grumbled.
"You said you were going to go running with me" Billie said over her shoulder and shrugged.
"I thought you meant in the woods or something!" Natalee threw her hands in the air. Nikki was standing by a group of treadmills, wearing a S.H.I.E.L.D. t-shirt and black shorts. She gave Natalee a weird look.
"Nat, we're in the air" She said.
"Okay, you know what, it is way to freaking early for me to think logically" Natalee said and Billie snorted. They hopped onto the treadmills, Natalee on the left, Billie in the middle, Nikki on the right. "Look, there's barely anyone here" She huffed. The only other kids she recognized was Billie's brother, L.J., Riley Wilson, and Don Rogers.
"Are you going to whine the entire time?" Billie rolled her eyes. Natalee turned her head to look at her and poked her nose. The blonde girl narrowed her eyes.
"The sooner you start running, Natalee, the sooner you wake up" Nikki said, putting her earbuds in her ears.
"See, that doesn't sound like something that makes sense" The auburn haired girl shrugged and turned on the machine. She pressed the button a few times so she was in a heavy jog. Billie and Nikki had their machines are slightly slower settings.
The three were running for a couple minutes when Billie glanced down and noticed Billie's shoe was untied. "Nat, you need to tie your shoe" She said. Natalee looked down just as she stepped on it and tripped. At the speed her machine was going, she was thrown from the treadmill with a startled scream and flew across the floor. Billie started laughing and tripped over her feet, flying off her own treadmill. Natalee had a mix of groaning in pain and laughing. Nikki started laughing hard at the groans of pain from her friends, causing her to stop paying attention. She stepped on her own shoelace and joined the other two girls on the floor. They were all laughing at each other and groaning at their varying degrees of pain, just lying on the floor early in the morning.
*FLASHBACK*
Natalee- I haven't gotten up before nine since.
Nikki- I still don't know how I fell! My shoes were tied!
Billie- Magic.
