Hey, all! Long time no see, eh?

This is just a friendly notice that I have finally (finally) finished work on the first chapter of the complete rewrite! It's called "Of Crimson and Shadows", and I've spent so much time planning it out and making sure it's a decent enough story without any plot holes that I honestly was expecting it to sit in limbo for the rest of all eternity.

Now, I'm sure some (at the very least, one) of you are sad that this isn't a proper chapter update... and for that, I really am sorry. But it's my goal to surpass this story by miles and miles, knowing what I know now, so that you can read the "Kyuubi" I wanted to write in the first place. It's got darkness, it's got death, it's got some pretty brutal psychological bits; everything I wanted to do for this story but just couldn't.

Please, if you still have ANY INTEREST WHATSOEVER in this story or where I was planning on taking it, check out "Of Crimson and Shadows". It's different enough to where it reads like a new story, but there are still quite a few facets of the story that hail directly from this one. It's a rewrite, so things'll be different (by definition), but if you liked this story at all, you'll enjoy it. (At least, that's the goal!)

Now, since I'm going to be working on that fic instead of this one, I AM going to be discontinuing this story indefinitely. I will, however, be leaving it up for all to read, because I'm going to treat my fanfiction page as a mausoleum of my writing - for better or for worse. So don't worry about this fic going away. ;)
