The final part of the Pinpoint Series. It has been 5 years since the death of Elyra Alya and the battle against Garder Morotisan is not looking good. Can our horned girls finally find peace, or will they be destroyed forever? Kaede, a girl who has gone through hell and back may be the only hope for both Diclonius and humans.

11. Series Hiatus

Hey everyone. I've received a lot of messages asking me to continue the Pinpoint series. I must say I am truly happy with the people who would like this to continue and give my thanks to that support. Unfortunately the Pinpoint series is now on an indefinite if honestly not permanent hiatus. It's a series I had a lot of fun with but ultimately have gotten over. I'm now on different projects with original ideas that I'd much rather focus on.

Plus, by the time I got to "Desires" I admit I was rather writing by the seat of my pants and didn't have a real coherent plot ready and its possible that it started even earlier than that. During the times that I was writing Pinpoint Lifeline and its sequels, I was heavily into the Elfen Lied manga, but now I've gone onto other things.

For me personally, the ideas that I had for the Pinpoint series are now ideas I'd rather use for more original ideas and not just use the EL name as a backdrop to place them on. I'd rather create completely original stories with original characters and not just use the EL name and then twist that around to fit my own goals.

So unfortunately, yeah the Pinpoint series is ending here. Perhaps one day in the future I will continue it, though I'd personally like to start fresh with Desires. Who knows, perhaps even one of you would like to continue the story. It would certainly be a lot easier for me just to express my ideas to someone who writes them down then for me to try to write entire chapters. But I'll leave that up to anyone who is interested.
