Draco Malfoy was a boy who could be easily swayed, for the better or the worse. He's joined Voldemort, but feels like he shouldn't have. He's scared, and his father Lucius makes matters worse, by trying to murder his own son. Will he leave Voldemort and join the good forces at Hogwarts? Or will he stay with the Dark Lord and be forced to kill Dumbledore, the man who keeps him safe?

5. Special Author's Note: MUST READ

Hello everyone! I must give you all my most sincerest apologies, for I messed up this entire story.

The only reason Voldemort gave Draco the mission to kill Dumbledore and unleash the Death Eaters into the school was because Voldemort wanted to punish Lucius for failing him in the Order of the Phoenix. He did this by giving Draco an impossible task so, when he failed to complete it, Voldemort would kill him. This, in turn, would make Lucius suffer, since he would have lost his son.

However, as all of you super observant, die hard Harry Potter fans may have noticed, this does not happen here. Lucius is supposed to be in Azkaban at the moment and should not be any where near his home or Hogwarts.

So, on that note, I'm not going to change anything but simply just keep going. I know some people may argue that if I go along, it's as if the Order never happened, but please just go along with it.

Again, I am sorry, but I promise you all that I will make this fanfic great and hopefully you'll all enjoy it!

Also, I started writing this story and published the first few chapters before I started reading the Half Blood Prince, which gave me a lot of clarity when I found out my mistake. I have seen all the movies but have not read all the books, although I'm getting there!

Please forgive me and my error, but I will keep writing and I will make this work!
