After the cameras turned off, Kira said "That went perfectly"
"That imposter was actually reading from a script and collapsed and dropped it when she got flustered" said Dearka laughing
"The whole world saw all that live" said Athrun smiling
"Let's see the Chairman talk his way out of this one" said Cagalli smirking
But before anyone could really question what was going on, a tragedy happened. Requiem fired from the dark side of the Moon and destroyed the Januarius group of PLANTs. The wrecked colonies then crashed into some of the December group of PLANTs.
"Almost two groups of PLANTs gone" said Lacus horrified seeing it
"The end is here" said Kira
"Lafiel, Jinto, I want that thing obliterated yesterday" ordered Cagalli
"Yes" said Lafiel nodding her head
"Wait for ZAFT to take out its defense before you obliterate it" said Cagalli
"We will meet up with you in space after it is gone" she said
Lafiel and Jinto nodded their head before they ran out of the room.
"Prepare the Archangel and Kusanagi for launch into space" ordered Cagalli to a guard in the room
"We are going up there to end this" she said
"Yes ma'am" said the guard running out of the room
Lafiel and Jinto went to the hanger and prepared for take-off. Once they were ready, they blasted off heading towards the Moon. Once they cleared the atmosphere, they activated Mirage Colloid and headed towards the dark side of the Moon.
They arrived at Daedalus to see that ZAFT only sent one ship to attack the cannon.
"They only sent one ship" exclaimed Jinto
"Where are their fleets" he asked
"They must be focusing on taking out those things that bend the beam" said Lafiel
"Without them, the cannon is useless" she added
"It appears they sent the Minerva" she said
"They are relying on the their three Gundams to take it out" said Jinto
They watch the battle as the Alliance sent out everything that they had only for the Destiny and Legend to rip through them. Eventually the Alliance sent out three Destroys.
"They have more of those things" shouted Jinto
"We need to help them" he said
"No we don't" said Lafiel shaking her head
"There were some at Heaven's Base so ZAFT should be able to take care of them" she said
"Besides the less forces ZAFT has, the better for us" she added
They watched as the Destiny and Legend took out the three Destroys. They then noticed another battle taking place away from the main battle with the Blast Impulse.
"The Impulse" said Jinto
"That must be the one they sent to attack the cannon" said Lafiel
"Let's follow it" she said
They followed the Blast Impulse to an access hatch, avoiding the battles going on around them, and went in. They flew down the access hatch until they came out at the cannon that was charging up.
"They are going to fire it again" shouted Jinto
"We won't let it" said Lafiel
"Keep an eye on the Impulse while I get ready" she said
"Yes" said Jinto nodding his head
Wing Zero positioned itself above the cannon as it started charging up its Twin Buster Rifle. The Blast Impulse took out the command center with its cannons before it noticed Wing and Wing Zero.
"It's them again" said Lunamaria
She turned around to face them only to see Wing pointing its Buster Rifle at her.
"Leave now" ordered Jinto
"What if I don't want to" asked Lunamaria activating the Blast Impulse's cannons
Wing shot its Buster Rifle at the Blast Impulse before it disappeared. The Blast Impulse dodged it before it started looking around.
"Where is it" asked Lunamaria looking around
Wing suddenly appeared in front of the Blast Impulse with its beam saber out. The Blast Impulse tried to back away only for Wing to cut its cannons in half blowing it back.
"Now leave" said Jinto pointing his beam saber at the Blast Impulse
The Blast Impulse quickly left allowing Wing to go back to Wing Zero.
"The Impulse left" said Jinto
"I am almost done" said Lafiel
Wing Zero finished charging its Twin Buster Rifle and shot it into the cannon causing it to explode.
"Time to leave" shouted Lafiel
They both quickly transformed into their jet forms and blasted out of the cannon's mouth. They flew up and away from the cannon's mouth just as the explosion shot out of the cannon's mouth into space.
Lafiel activated her clyuno and said "The cannon is no more"
"Good job" said Cagalli
"Head to the space around Copernicus City" she said
"We will meet you there" she said
"Understood" said Lafiel
They both activated Mirage Colloid and flew towards Copernicus City.
On the way there, Lafiel asked "Why didn't you destroy the Impulse"
"The Minerva only has three ace pilots" said Jinto
"I thought Stella would like to kill her as part of her revenge on the psycho" he said
"You're learning" said Lafiel smiling
"Well, I had a great teacher" said Jinto smiling
In Orb, the Strike Freedom, Angel, Freedom, Justice, and Epyon were loaded onto the Archangel. While the Akatsuki, Infinite Justice, and the Ligers were loaded onto the Kusanagi. They then launched into space and headed towards the space around Copernicus City.
Once they were there, Wing and Wing Zero boarded the Kusanagi. Then Athrun, Cagalli, Van, Fiona, Lafiel, and Jinto went over to the Archangel which landed in Copernicus City.
"Why are we here" asked Van
"We need some place to stay up here in space until the Chairman makes his move" said Cagalli
"We can also take out that imposter while we are here" said Kira
"How do you know she is here" asked Jinto
"Copernicus is always neutral and allows anyone to come here" said Athrun
"Making this place the perfect place for her to hide" said Lafiel
"Yes" said Kira nodding his head
"How do we find her" asked Fiona
"We don't have to find her" said Lacus
"We let them find us" she said
"How do we do that" asked Fiona
"By shopping" exclaimed Miriallia
"Won't that make it easier to take you out" asked Lafiel?
"No" said Lacus shaking her head
"They can't afford to do it in a crowed area" she said
"So they will try to lure us to an empty area" she said
"Where we will turn the trap on them and take them out" said Kira
They soon all left the Archangel and went into the city to shop. While the girls were trying on different clothes, a red Haro came up to them with a note in its mouth.
"It's the imposter's stupid Haro" said Athrun seeing it
"At least they got the color partly right" said Lacus
Dearka put on a pair of gloves before he picked up the note and opened it.
"Help, I'm going to be killed Ms. Lacus, Meer" read Dearka
"There is even a badly drawn map on here too" he said
"Subtle they are not" said Kira
"This has to be the worst trap ever" said Cagalli shaking her head
"Why don't they just say come here so we can kill you" she said
"I guess the Chairman didn't want to waste anyone competent on someone expendable" said Athrun
After getting rid of the note and the stupid Haro, they went to the location on the badly drawn map. They arrived at an outdoor theatre.
"I guess they are not complete idiots after all" said Athrun seeing the place
"This is a very good place to spring a trap without the person knowing it" he said
They all drew their blasters and slowly made their way inside. They looked out at the stage and saw Meer sitting in one of the seats.
"So that is the trap" said Cagalli
"They will kill you once you get near her" she said
"Kira, Lacus, Miriallia, Stella, and Jinto" said Athrun
"You will stay here and make sure she doesn't escape while we deal will her 'bodyguards'" he ordered
The five of them nodded their heads while the rest of them left. They made their way around the theatre taking out all the 'bodyguards'.
"All the 'bodyguards' have been taken care of" said Athrun
Meer started getting scared hearing all the screams and got up. She ran up the stairs only to stop when she saw a blaster pointed at her.
"Going somewhere" asked Kira pointing his blaster at Meer
Meer took a few steps back only to hear someone behind her say "Don't move"
She froze as she saw Lacus come from behind Kira.
"Hello there" said Lacus smiling
"It's nice to finally meet you in person" she said
"Ms. Lacus" said Meer
"You don't have to worry about them coming after you anymore" said Lacus
"My friends took care of them" she said
"But I do have a question for you" she said
"Did you really think you could get away with ruining my songs, my image, and my reputation" she asked walking down towards Meer
"But I'm Lacus" shouted Meer
"You are not me and you will never be me" said Lacus
"You are nothing more than an imposter" she said
"And in the end you couldn't even do that right" she said
A seed fell and exploded in her mind as she pointed her lightsaber at Meer and activated it causing the blade to shoot through Meer's heart. She then deactivated it as Meer's body fell to the ground dead.
Kira came up behind Lacus and put his arms around her holding her. She turned around in his embrace and buried her head in his shoulder.
"What are we going to do with the body" asked Dearka
Everyone turned around and looked at him at the comment.
"I don't think it is a good idea to just leave it here" added Dearka seeing the looks he was getting
"We can blow it up" said Lafiel
"But we don't have any explosives" said Cagalli
"Yes we do" said Lafiel
She took out her Star Forces handgun and ejected the magazine. Another one instantly appeared in its place in the handgun.
"These can double as grenades" said Lafiel holding up the magazine
"Wow, that's quite the versatile gun you have" said Athrun
"Thank you" said Lafiel smiling
They all ejected the magazines from their handguns and put them on Meer's body. They then all ran back inside the theatre as they all exploded destroying Meer's body.
"That take cares of that" said Cagalli
"Now all we need to do is wait for the Chairman to make his move so we can end this for good" she said
