Chapter 11

Mental Stability

Urahara's POV

I am pleasantly surprised. "My, my. What a fine young man I see here." I inspected the captain.

"Get away from me you pervert! I'm here for gathering information. Now please willingly answer my ques- I said get away!" He pushed me away from his hair that I was trying to smell, into Isshin, who purposefully stepped aside so I almost fell.

"Everyone abuses me!" I cried.

You should probably take what he says seriously.

"Fine." I straightened up and groaned. "Whatcha want to talk about Toshirou?"

"That's Captain Hitsugaya to you." He looked in a pissed mood. I smiled.

"Now, what seems to be the issue here?" Isshin spoke up.

"I need you two to tell me any information you know about Kurosaki and where he's been the last three months." Hitsugaya glided into the room and sat down at the table.

I glanced over to father Kurosaki and I saw a look of surprise cross over his face. It's to be expected, considering this is his first time hearing that his son has been missing for three months. I nodded in agreement.

"I'll take over from here. I joined the two at the table and sat down. "First off, would you like me to tell you everything that I know, or would you prefer to ask specific questions?"

I spread my hands across the table inspecting the captain's face.

With almost no hesitation, "Tell me everything." I grinned.

"Let's see. It started with him wanting to train…"

Karin's POV

"Oi Ichi-nii, which hollow injured you that badly?" I hit on a hard subject, I could tell. My brother stopped eating and looked down at his almost clean plate.

"Mm… Uh, I don't know." He resumed eating.

This aroused my curiosity, "What do you mean, 'you don't know'?"

"Okay, I really don't know. I was facing one way, and before I knew it, I was hit on the back of my head, and everything else kind of went down hill…" I almost started laughing.

"You got K.O. by a hallow? Just because you were facing the other side, you let one of them hit you in the back of your head?!" I couldn't help but grin a little. I know I shouldn't, I mean, he almost died for heaven's sake.

"See. This is why I didn't want to tell you. It was a stupid mistake, rookie's mistake. I'm such an idiot!" He said while stretching. I got up and took his plate and washed is in silence. "So, want to battle?" My body became excited at that, but then I remembered.

"You just got out of a weird coma thing, so you should rest. Besides, what about Yuzu? If we leave here now, and she returns here with no one here, she'll be lonely." I wanted to fight soooooo badly. My body's itching for fighting.

"Oh! True. Let's do it tonight! Toshirou can watch. Wait, can other people know about the whole Shinigami business?" He asked with a quirked eyebrow.

"Wait. Am I, like, an illegal Shinigami?"

"Well, you're not really certified, but I bet you know way more than I did when I changed." Ichigo sounded a little jealous. "Not fair." He looked like a little kid the way he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Anyway, then no. We can't tell anyone. Ok? I think that our idiot of a father isn't that much of an idiot and already knows though. He's probably over at Urahara's since last night and lied to Yuzu."

Toshirou POV

My old captain just sneezed across the table from me. "Are you sick?"

"No, no, I'm sure I'm being talked about amongst one of my children!"

And he's happy why? I just rolled my eyes.

"Back to my point, is that all that happened? Kurosaki went to train in Hueco Mundo and made a really stupid mistake and almost died? That's it?" I was shocked when Urahara nodded. "I knew he was careless, but not that careless." Urahara just shrugged his shoulders. I shook my head in disappointment wondering why the hell I got so worked up over this. "In any case, Kurosaki needs to return to Seireitei at once." I stated while standing to leave.

"Oh? Well… we'll have to see about that, now don't we? Haha!" That stupid pervert was talking behind his fan again.

Gathering up patience I stopped walking and turned around, "What do you mean by that? There's nothing here to stop him from leaving."

"We'll see, we'll see." Urahara said all gleefully. I just rolled my eyes and left after bowing to my old captain. Now, off to find the orange haired idiot.

Karin's P.O.V.

I'm bored. There's nothing to do. Says every other teenager in the universe nowadays. My eyes widened in surprise because I forgot that I was being pestered by another thing inside me.

Miyuki, seriously, do you hear that voice? I was met with cold-hearted silence. I was getting impatient by this point. Okay, there's no Miyuki. Who the hell… or rather, what the hell are you and what do you want?

Well, aren't you a rather feisty one. Bit bitchy too. The voice drawled. My eye twitched and I ignored the response. Choosing to deal with my mental stability later, I got off my lazy ass and went to the kitchen to snack. Fatty. Damn that voice was getting real close….

"Don't murder the refrigerator Karin, it did nothing to you." I heard Ichigo chime from behind me. "What got your panties all twisted up?"

I rolled my eyes at the stupid things he was saying, "Nothing, I'm just thinking."

"Well, you should think less. When you do, you look like you're about to kill someone more than usual." My brother said as he walked away. I glanced at the clock and noticed it about 4 p.m. Yuzu's supposed to be back soon.

"Oi, Ichi-nii! Yuzu's going to be back any moment now." I yelled. He belted back a, "K!" I sat down with some snacks and began nibbling on stuff. "Soooooooo bored!" My body was twitching with the want to fight. Right. Now.

Calm down Karin, the time will come.Miyuki was back.

Where the hell have you been Miyuki?! I was getting upset because I was already irritable to begin with.

What do you mean? I was here the whole time? When Miyuki said that I was dumbfounded. Was I really losing my mental stability? Was I going insane?

You dumb bitch. Your stupid Miyuki can't hear me. Only you. Get it straight.

Karin? Why aren't you answering?

I slammed the table and stood up. "You know what? I'm going crazy. I'm going to take a nap because the lack of sleep is probably getting to me haha. That's it." I turned on my heel and started to sprint to my room, but right as I was taking a step upstairs, Yuzu appeared coming through the door. "Damnit." Now I have to act all friendly so I don't make her cry.

"I have a surprise for you Yuzu!" I was brimming with fake happiness and excitement.

"What?!" My sister's eyes got big and she jumped a little in anticipation.

Yelling, "Dude! Get your ass down here!" When I said that, Yuzu's eyes filled with confusion.

"Don't cuss! That's bad! Now, what do you… Yuzu!" Ichigo ran towards us.

I didn't really care about the scene that was happening right beside because I practically knew what was happening. Yuzu was probably starting to tear up and Ichigo's going to scoop her up into a hug. I just headed upstairs to be alone with my two other voices.
