Episode 7.20 Lab Rats: After Sara and Wendy's conversation about Grissom
Once she was in the car park Sara picked up her phone and dialed Grissoms number.
"Hey" She heard him answer on the other end.
"Hey Gil" She said walking through the car park.
"You've finished then?" She heard him smile through the phone.
"Yeah, I'm just leaving now, are you alone? I have a question for you, but if you're busy it can wait"
"Give me a minute" Grissom replied.
Sara held on in silence, she could hear Grissoms breathing getting faster, he was obviously walking, to find somewhere he wouldn't be overheard. When he stopped he spoke to Sara again.
"Ok I'm in the clear now, what did you want to ask my dear?"
Sara giggled, "Gil you didn't need to leave what you were doing is really not important"
"It's ok, I'd rather speak to you then deal with that crime scene right now"
"Ok fair enough. I just wanted to ask you, has Hodges been spying on you or stalking you?"
Grissom paused "Well he's always hanging around so who knows really"
"Hm" Sara said "Because you know he told Wendy, you confide him[S1] [S2] and you apparently told him that the miniature killer keeps you awake at night, and she implied that he told her I would know because, well you know"
Grissom chuckled "And Wendy believed that?" Grissom asked
"Well until I pointed out to her that no one believes what Hodges says, she did" Sara said seriously.
"Honey, don't worry about it, it's just lab gossip. And no one in their right mind would believe that I confide in Hodges"
"I suppose your right, I'm just being paranoid, I'm sorry I bothered" Sara replied.
"You are never a bother my dear" Grissom said again Sara could hear the smile in his voice.
Grinning Sara said "I'll see you later then?"
"Of course my dear"
With that Sara hung up the phone
