12.03 – Bittersweet
Sara sighed as she sat down on her couch. It had been a long day and she had messed up. She knew DB was right, she shouldn't have done what she did, she shouldn't have confronted the suspect the way she did, and what was worse she had been wrong, Gina hadn't been behind those new murders. Sara felt a sting of tears in her eyes. It wasn't tears of sadness, it was tears of anger. She was angry at herself, and she was angry at the situation. That young girl, Colleen, had been through so much, and in the end it had changed her so much that she became the murderer. Even if Gina hadn't been the one murdering that young girl, she was ultimately to blame for Colleen's actions. Sara pulled out her phone. It was days like this she needed Grissom around. To talk sense into her before she went too far, Grissom had always been her rock, and when she thought she was losing it he would be there to put it back together. But at the moment the distance hurt Sara, she didn't want guilt him into coming home that wasn't fair to him, but still she wished he was there.
Sara waited for the phone to connect.
"Hi" Grissom answered happy to be talking to Sara.
"I need you" Was all Sara could get out before the tears started.
