*Sara goes and see's Grissom

Sara stepped out of the bus and looked around, there were people moving about everywhere, partially uncovered buildings and skeletons were all around. Sara wiped the sweat from her face, it was humid. She was tired after having been on one plane or another for the last twenty four hours. She headed toward Grissoms tent, she had been here a few times, and she hoped he hadn't moved tents. He had no idea she was coming, she wanted to surprise him.
Stepping into the tent she looked around, Grissom things were here but he wasn't. Sara smiled, even in the middle of Peru, Grissom still had jars of insect specimens and butterfly's in frames. Sara sat down on the fold out a cot. She was exhausted, laying down she closed her eyes and waited for Grissom to come back.

Grissom whistled on the way back to his tent. He had, had a good day and they had made a lot of progress on the dig, he thought that he might even be going home soon. As he opened the tent, he paused. There was Sara curled up on the cot. He smiled as he walked towards her. He sat down and gently touched her shoulder. Sara opened her eyes smiling at the sight of Grissom

"Surprise" She said sleepily. She hadn't meant to fall asleep for so long.

Grissom lent in to kiss her,

"It's a nice surprise" He replied smiling.

Sara sat up so she could say hello properly, leaning in she returned his kiss. This one lasting, she could tell by the way he kissed her he had missed her. And she always missed him.

After a few moments Grissom pulled away.

"So what brings you all the way to Peru?" Grissom asked still smiling.

Sara lent into him resting her head on his chest.

"You, of course" She said giggling slightly. "I missed you"

"I missed you too" Grissom said kissing the top of her head "I'm glad you came."

Sara pulled away from him, Grissom noticed her expression had changed and she looked worried. Reaching up he gently touched her face.

"Sara?" He said more of question, "Is something wrong?"

Sara hesitated for a moment,

"Well not wrong necessarily" She paused, "It's just we never really talked about it, and I don't know how you're going feel, and I just don't know how to tell you"

Grissom was feeling concerned, he wasn't sure what Sara was talking about.

"Sara, Honey, just tell me and then I can decide how I feel, you're starting to worry me"

Sara looked up Grissom and back down to her feet. She fidgeted with her hands in her lap.

"Sara?" Grissom said, wondering what could be so worrying for her.

"I'm pregnant Gil" Sara said in almost a whisper.

"Pregnant?" Grissom repeated to be sure he had heard correctly.

Sara nodded not looking up at him.

"Are you mad?" Sara asked softly. She was scared of his reaction.

Grissom just stared at her. He didn't know what to say, it wasn't something that they had discussed and he had never really thought about being a father. But now Sara had said she was pregnant, he felt a little bit of excitement inside him.

"Sara. No, I'm not mad" Grissom said trying to find words. "It's just" he paused again.

"It's just what?" Sara asked.

"It's just I never really thought of us as parents" Grissom continued.

He sat down on the bed next to her and placed his hands on hers.

"Do you want to do this?" He asked her.

Sara looked at him, trying to see where he was going with his questions.

"Yes" She replied.

"Ok then" Grissom said.

"Ok?" Sara said, starting to let herself relax

"Sara, we never really talked about having children but we never talked about not having them either, now that you've just told me your pregnant, I think I kind of like the idea." Grissom said.

He lent in and kissed her. After a while they parted, Sara smiled at Grissom. Grissom smiled back at her.

"Well, I guess we're going to be parents" Grissom said, still trying to let what Sara had told him sink in.

Sara leaned into Grissom.

"I guess we are" She agreed. "But Gil, we're going to need to talk about our living arrangements. I can't do this by myself"

"Honey, you won't. I'm sorry I won't be there for the first few months of the pregnancy but I will be home in soon. And then we can decided where we want to live and all those things"

Sara nodded wrapping her arms around Grissom.

"I've missed you, I can't wait until your home for good"

"Me too Honey" Grissom said placing a kiss on the top of her head.
