12.18 Malice in Wonderland
Sara looked at the note from Grissom, it was typically Grissom, short and non-descriptive.
She read the inside, pain filling her heart. It simply said I Love You. Grissom and she used to speak every day and one of them would make a trip at least once a month to see the other. But Grissom had move further away, reception was bad, getting in and out was hard. So their conversations had dwindle, from every second day, to maybe once a week, to now where they spent more time talking to each other's voice mails. Sara smiled looking at the plant, Grissom was always sending her some sort of plant, she had small green house going on their balcony now. Today the plant reminded her that no matter how far apart they were, that loved each other, they made each other happy and that's all they needed, they would eventually settle down together and this long distance marriage would be just a memory. Sara reached down and touched her stomach, Grissom promised he would be home as soon as he was done in Peru, she hoped it was soon. Sara realised she was crying, she quickly brushed the tears away and made her way to the car.
