Sasuke was at home, his fingers interlaced, which covered the extreme annoyance on his face. He glanced at the clock on the wall in irritation. She usually arrived at this hour and was known to be punctual in everything like he was.

Che.

So far, she was ten minutes late and he definitely wasn't pleased. Two minutes later, he sensed her presence before the door slowly opened.

He was determined on telling her that tardiness was not shinobi-like and never to repeat it again. Turning, he became alert in his posture once he laid eyes on her face, which was blotchy and wet with tears.

"Are you hurt?" he asked, quickly scanning for any visible wounds.

"I-I... he-"

At the mention of a male, he knew exactly what was going on. He was going to kill that little idiot for making her cry twice in a row. Sasuke let it slide the first time because he was asked to leave the situation alone.

She was too caring for her own good, but now there was going to be some settlement of the problem. He had to prevent this from happening all over again. He couldn't and wouldn't just sit there without taking action.

"Sasuke, where are you going?"

"To teach that Hyuuga a lesson," he replied in a deathly tone.

"Hyuuga? What's going on?" asked Sakura coming out of the kitchen as she dried her hands with a towel.

"Mommy, h-he called me a-an-noying-g."

Sakura began to respond to the tears in her daughter's eyes, handkerchief ready in hand, before looking just in time to see her husband grab a kunai and head towards the door. "No, Sasuke! He's just a kid!"

"A stupid kid that made my daughter cry."

"He's only seven years old!"

"I know that."

This isn't good. She thought frantically, and then grabbed her daughter's small hand. "Come on, we have to stop him before he makes a fool out of himself."

Sasuke was fast. Of course, she could keep up with his speed, but she was holding onto her daughter, whom was recently enrolled in the Academy and couldn't travel at this fast pace.

Sure, it was kind of cute when Sasuke got overprotective of his only daughter. And true, Sakura squealed a bit at his exaggerations when their daughter got so much as a paper cut because he took it so seriously. This, however, was taking it a bit too far.

They arrived at the Hyuuga estate in minutes, uninvited she might add, and spotted her husband's form. It seemed like he was standing there alone, however, as she came closer, she saw a little boy hidden in her husband's shadow.

This had to be the weirdest confrontation she has ever seen. Her emerald eyes looked at the son of Neji and Tenten. What could she say? The Hyuuga boy certainly inherited his father's good looks and his mother's perfect aim.

Sakura couldn't blame her daughter for developing a crush. The little boy was the talk and pride of the Hyuugas. Although at the moment, Sakura was a bit afraid for him. She couldn't exactly tell what Sasuke had said to him at the beginning, but it couldn't have been nice judging the look on the poor boy's face.

"Don't ever call my daughter annoying again."

"But she is! She won't leave me alone!" the boy wailed, causing the already sniffling girl to cry some more. The boy didn't have time to look at her because he became terrified when the Sharingan activated.

"You start calling her annoying and the next thing that'll happen is that my daughter will become one of you! She is an Uchiha and it's going to stay that way!"

Sakura looked at her husband with a raised eyebrow while comforting her daughter. At a distance, she saw two figures approaching. Good, this will have to end in some way.

Stoic, Neji approached his son. It wasn't long before Tenten appeared after with a concerned aura.

"Otou-san! Okaa-san!" the boy ran to his parents while Neji's features hardened when he saw Sasuke.

"What are you doing on my property, Uchiha?"

"Telling your son to stay away from my daughter, Hyuuga."

"Why would my son associate with your daughter?"

Sakura and Tenten exchanged embarrassed looks. This wasn't going to end well.

"And then my mommy used her super strength to stop the fight," the girl finished telling another pearled-eyed girl with blonde pigtails.

"Auntie Sakura did that? My daddy always said that she used to hit him all the time but he never said why. I asked my mommy why and she just laughs."

"No way? My mommy used to hit the Hokage?!"

"Oh, my pretty petal!" a boy came up to the female Uchiha, "I-I made this for you!" He blushed when she took it with a large smile.

The young female Uchiha went home in a joyful state this time. Almost skipping, she went into the kitchen where her parents were located. "Kaa-san! Tou-san! I want to show you something!"

With a proud smile, she showed her parents a picture of a badly drawn heart, which was messily colored in with a purple crayon.

"You didn't draw this did you?" asked Sasuke as he held the paper.

Sakura glared at him. "It's very beautiful!"

"I didn't do that," their daughter answered as it were the most obvious thing in the world, "A boy gave it to me, daddy!"

"What?" his voice lowered, his grip on the paper tightened.

"Oh, you have an admirer? That's so adorable!" Sakura removed the picture from Sasuke's grasp before he destroyed it.

"Toshi-kun gave it to me!"

"Never heard of him," said Sasuke curtly.

Sakura began explaining, "Sasuke, remember that party Naruto forced you to attend? I'm pretty sure I introduced you to Lee's family. Toshi is his son- where are you going?"

"To tell him to never talk to my daughter."

"Sasuke! You have to learn how to refrain yourself!"

Sasuke mumbled something about his daughter's dignity, and this attention was all unnecessary in her development as a future shinobi.

Sakura laughed and replied, "Oh really? Tell me something, Sasuke-kun, what are you going to do when she hits puberty and grows breasts?"

"She isn't going to if I have any say in it."

The girl watched her parents exit the front door wondering how they, mainly her father, would react when she told them she was over the Hyuuga boy and now had a crush on Kakashi.

A/N (April 15, 2016): I started this in 2007, tried to finish it in 2012, and just finished it now. :( Little steps are helpful, but I'm still scared that I'm not the writer I used to be. Thank you for still believing I can come back.
