Wow it's been a long time since I updated this. Well, in my defense, I put the chapters on the site, but didn't update the actual story... sorry. But there are a few changes I've made that I feel that you should know.

1: Oliver's online name will now be Ruruka because it's easier to type and remember. Seriously, i was using copy and paste before to spell it right.

2: Oliver now has a twin sis that sometimes plays his character for him, being much better than him at online combat. Idk if i mentioned her before, but her name will be Liz, and I'll describe her later. Her nickname is also Bunny... as if I wasn't copying enough directly from the manga.

3: The Abraham guy I mentioned is the guy from Vald's class. I didn't really develop him much but I might include him more in the future so I wanted to let you know who he was in case I forget to explain in the story.

4: Henri (I think I spelled it like that before) will now be spelled Henry, because it is more modern and Americanized.

Vald woke to find himself in a very small room not remembering how he got there. Professor Halvir was there reading a book, looking up when he saw Vald open his eyes.

"Are you alright?" the professor asked calmly.

Vald looked around. The small room was crammed full of books, pictures, sculptures of strange creatures and more. It would've looked like a geek's haven if Vald didn't know any better. "Where am I?" he asked.

"My office," the professor replied. "What do you remember?"

Vald thought back to the last thing he could remember. He had been talking with Professor Halvir, but after meeting the other professor he couldn't remember anything. "A strange professor…" he began.

Professor Halvir nodded. "You had a fever and passed out. I didn't think it was serious enough to take you to the infirmary."

Vald nodded. He had a horrible feeling he knew what had happened. That night where he woke up in the street suddenly came to mind and he wondered if blacking out this time was like then. But instead of finding dead bodies, he was with the professor and felt oddly rested.

A knock on the door startled them both. "Havi, I'm coming in!" It was the female professor who seemed to hang around Professor Halvir a lot. She entered saying something about a student in her class but then stopped when she saw Vald. "Oh, hello."

Vald smiled awkwardly and stood up. He glanced at his professor and said, "Thanks for taking care of me again." He left with a smile of farewell and hurried away.

He felt weird. Something inside of him hurt when he thought about the strange professor whose name Vald forgot. But at the same time, the part of him that hurt also felt relaxed and peaceful for seemingly no reason. He wished he knew why so many weird things were happening to him lately.

"Wait!"

Vald looked back and noticed the two professors exit the office, the woman running towards him. "Yeah?" he asked not unkindly.

"Are you alright?" she asked, her eyes full of real concern. "You've only just recovered, and you don't seem to be in the best shape."

"I'm fine," he brushed her off. "I just didn't get much sleep last night."

"Make sure you get enough tonight," she insisted. "No online gaming! I don't care what Havi said about meeting you. Get some sleep!"

He smiled. He could tell she meant the male professor who was only now walking up to them. "So you'll meet me?" he asked, grinning wider.

"NO!" she asserted, the corners of her mouth betraying her almost smile. "No gaming! Didn't you hear what I said?"

"I'll be fine," Vald assured her. "I've gone a long time without sleep before, and I'm feeling better for some reason."

"You should listen to her," Professor Havi said, the smile showing in his eyes. "You don't want her on your back."

"Then meet me early and I'll go to sleep early," Vald grinned.

The female professor turned her gaze on Halvir who sighed. "Fine. As long as you do your homework."

Vald saw Oliver at a distance and waved at him. Oliver stopped searching for him and waited for him to finish his conversation. "Sure," Vald said to the two professors. "Got to go!"

He waved and ran to where Oliver was tapping his foot in agitation. "Why are you never at the meeting place anymore? You're late, too! What's going on?"

"Sorry," Vald said with a chuckle. "I haven't been feeling well lately, but I'm better now! Promise."
