They waited until they finally saw a shadow coming closer to the surface. Bridge burst through the surface of the swift moving stream.
"Bridge!" They exclaimed.
"I found this white" Bridge sighed. "Well... It could be silver or maybe it's white with a silvery glint or..." He stated trailing off.
Loud crashes and explosions could be heard from the cliff from which they came; bursting through the trees and onto the cliffs edge came the creature its cloak completely gone revealing its scales which were blue-green, but upon spotting the sliver-white disc in Bridges hand, it's scales turned a deep shade of red and black. The creature growled, sharp teeth protruding from its mouth.
"That's mine!" The creature screamed. The disc in Bridges hand began to glow a red-black color like its scales. He grinned evilly; a perfect plan unfolding in its twisted mind. He reached towards its waist, pulling out a blaster which was now pointed at the rangers who were still treading in the moving stream.
"Run!...I mean SWIM!" Bridge yelled; his eyes staring down the barrel of the blaster.
"You can't get away from me that easily rangers!" It bellowed.
The creature now visibly aggravated fired a shot into the water almost reaching the rangers who were now swimming away from the threat. It fired again and again, missing each time, then a crack was heard followed by an ear piercing scream. Bright red now tainted the sky blue of the rushing water. Only then did they fully grasp reality; Adam was hurt. Bridge and Alata helped Adam swim along and dodge the rest of the energy blasts iminating from the blaster. They followed the curve in the stream leading them out of the creatures shooting turned to look at Adam troubled by the pain that was on Adam's face. A loud roar of crashing waves could be heard, the stream began to pick up its pace.
"A waterfall..." Alata gasped in horror.
"We need to morph!" Bridge tried to yell over the crashing of water.
The rangers took out their morphers just as they toppled over the edge of the waterfall, red and black lights could be seen.
