As Bridge resurfaced he took a deep breath, filling his lungs with oxygen. He searched for Adam and Alata, hoping they didn't drown. Alata was the first to resurface, he spotted Bridge and swam over.

"Have you seen Adam?" Bridge gasped, panic settling in his voice.

"No, we got separated when we morphed... I'm sorry..." Alata looked up tears forming. This isn't the time for tears Alata thought to himself. He was going to find Adam no matter how long it took.

Alata looked up at the waterfall hoping to see any trace of Adam, as he stared he noticed the beauty of the waterfall. It looked like a silent white stream, cascading over the rocky outcrops. As he swam closer the noise had increased steadily until he was only a few hundred meters away. He could no longer shout to Bridge over the deafening roar of the water. Closer still he swam until they were in the plume of water vapor that hung over the plunge pool. His hair clung to his head and around his face, but no matter how wet he became, it could not dampen his will to find his fallen friend.

.~.~.~.~.~.

The water surges around Adam's body, encasing him completely with it's cool and smooth touch. He begin to move his arms, immediately regretting that decision as pain flourished from his right shoulder. He began paddling to shore with his good arm. His skin began to sting, turning a bright red from the harsh caress of the liquid. His hand connects with the pebbles underneath him, he pulls himself halfway out of the water, darkness threatening to take him.

"Adam!" A distant voice called.

The voice sounded oddly familiar. "Adam!" He wanted to call out to the source of the voice, but all he could manage was a groan.

"Adam!" A second voice called sounding closer then the last one.

"Adam!" It called again.

These voices were so familiar and yet who were they?

"Bridge!" The second voice called closer then before. "I found him!" He cried relief slipping into his voice.

"That's right!" Adam thought. Alata and Bridge! How could he have forgotten?
