A/N

Yep it's been a while huh? Well, I was stuck on a few parts that I couldn't get around. Next, when I finally found a solution it's either my laptop or my laptop charger is acting weird. My apologies on the long unnoticed delay to the followers. I would like to take the time to thank everyone for following this story and for your patience. I'm back on track on how I want this story to end and the message for the story. I really want to have my first complete story but in order into doing that, I have to finish it. Plus, after I finish this story, I've been having some other stories in my mind for a while. I've already typed them out for just a suggestion in the nearby future. I won't hold you long here but, I just wanted to tell you that I'm not abandoning this story. At all. No. A definite no. If I were to then I would've told you. Now, enjoy :)

"Naruto? Hey Naruto is everything alright?" a young child called from outside the room. The blonde little boy looked at his blood drenched hands, eyes nearly popping out of his head shaking slightly.

"I didn't…" He whispers to himself consistently until he'd felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Naruto," The childlike voice is sounding a bit shaky and stunned at the sight. "Did you-" Naruto slap the hand off of his shoulder.

"No I didn't kill him," He yelled at the top of his lungs as he was sobbing over the dead body. He didn't know what to say or even how to explain the situation," He…I was..! I don't even know even more." He lowered his head for his golden hair to completely cover his eyes. Streams of tears gleamed against his cheek reflecting the moonlight that had hit against the curtain of the bedroom.

"You killed him."

"You murderer!"

"You're a monster!"

"You disgust me, you demon!"

"I hope you burn in hell."

Naruto sits automatically up in bed. He was breathing really hard as the cold sweats pops up all over his body. His eyes were wide open as if he was trying to see in the dark. The more he stared in the dark room the more of the pictures of that night he would see. Naruto looked at his digital clock to see it was three in the morning flashing in red digital letters but, the more he looks at the red filled numbers, he keeps thinking of the blood that he saw. Naruto didn't know what to do. Either he would try to go to sleep and risk having that dream again, or he would try to stay up until he falls asleep.

Chapter 6: Rumors: Part 1

"Sakura,"

"Yes Sasuke?" She asked wrapping her arms around his waist.

"I'm having a party at my house tonight at seven thirty tonight," He glares at her eyes having a tight grip on her," Do not forget." She slightly flinches at the hold he had on her and nodded her head.

"I heard you Sasuke." He finally let go of her now red wrist. She tries to hold back the tears that was piling up inside her since she doesn't want Sasuke to know that she's about to cry. Before she even notices his presence, he was gone. She was finally free of his hold. Well, at least for now, that is. Going to a party where she has to act like his girlfriend in front of his so called friends is humiliating. If only they knew what situation she is in now, everything would be different, but she would have to pay a heavy price from Sasuke. If only she had someone to protect her from him. If only she had her prince charming, everything will be back to normal or in fact, better than normal.

Where did I go wrong?

Sakura continues walking down the hallway where students hangout at their lockers buying time to keep themselves from going to class.

"Bro have you heard about Sasuke's party tonight?" said someone in a yellow shirt. He was beside someone who had his back against the lockers. "Yeah man, I heard it's going to be awesome!"

"But I thought you couldn't come. You're not popular."

"Haven't you heard?"

"Heard what?"

"Sasuke announced that he'll even invite the intermediates!"

"Wow man, I can finally go to a popular party." They high fived each other celebrating while Sakura sighed to herself. If only they knew…

She lowers her head as she was walking by. …That the party isn't even worth coming to. Her two pink strands of hair cover her eyes as she was walking down the hall. Next Sakura bumps into something hard. She looks up to see the blonde haired friend she had neglected. She noticed something different about him. As if he was a void. His blue eyes weren't full of gleam but it was dull. Light bags had formed under his eyes. But his stare, it was like he could see through Sakura. He muttered lowly as almost to himself, "Sorry." Sakura only saw the back of his messy blonde hair and his orange hoodie.

"Is Naruto mad at me?" She looks down at the ground squints her eyes trying not to cry. Her hands grab ahold of her pants tightly. With a shaky voice she says," Now my friend Naruto hates me. Can I still even call him my friend?" To see her the goofy blonde turn into someone she doesn't recognize is unforgettable. Did the toll of her avoiding him made him that upset? But Sakura had hope. She didn't want to give up. Not on the true friend she ever had.

"I'll try to talk to Naruto." Then an image of Sasuke hurting her pops up in her mind, she immediately shakes it off," If it's for Naruto, I'll risk it all."

_Noon_

Practically all day, Sakura has no luck into talking to Naruto. He held the same emotionless expression throughout class and in the hallways. It's expected for no one to pay attention to him, it wasn't like they had ever noticed him in the first place. But when they do it's nothing positive coming out of their actions. The bell finally rings for lunch; Sakura figured that would be the perfect time to talk to him. As the students rushed out the classrooms to lunch, Sakura told her friends not to wait up on her. Now the coast is clear. No one is in the halls and she could finally talk to Naruto in the abandon classroom. She opens the door," Naruto…?" She sees him on the floor hugging his knees with his head buried in them. Naruto was slightly rocking back and forth like a slight push from a recliner. She calls out to him again," Naruto are you alright?" No response once again. If she stood quietly enough she could hear the silent sobs Naruto was creating.

"Naruto…"this is my entire fault! If only I had talked to him before and quit ignoring him, it wouldn't end up like this!

"…I didn't do it." Sakura looks over at Naruto. Is talking to himself? "I didn't kill him…you all are wrong! Just stop hitting me ok!?"All of a sudden, Naruto swung his arm against the cabinet door that made Sakura flinch. She quickly rushed to his side not knowing what danger she could be in. She touches his shoulder shaking him, "Naruto snap out of it! Snap out of it!" With that, Naruto's head flew upward looking into a pair of green eyes he hadn't seen in a long time.

"Sakura…" he whispers to himself. Quickly turning his head away from her gaze, he jumps up away from her grip on his shoulder," So now you finally want to talk to me." His voice grew irritated at the fact of Sakura finally showing up for the first time in four weeks.

"Naruto are you mad that I ignored you?"

"Oh so it's all about you huh Sakura?! Why don't you stop acting like a stuck up bitch and actually consider someone's feelings for once!"

"You're calling me a stuck up bitch? How dare you! If I'm not considering anyone's feelings then why am I here to see what's wrong with you? I'm sure no one in this school gives a damn!"

"Because you feel guilty that you've been snubbing me for at least a month and felt like getting it off your chest to make yourself feel great! I you care about yourself. That's all you've ever done anyway. It's all about you. The world revolves around Sakura. Well guess what, everyone in this world has feelings too, Sakura." Sakura lower her eyes to the ground." No one ever considered my feelings. Do you see me seek attention and try to get everyone to sympathize with me? Huh? Do you?"

"Naru-"

"Shut up!" Naruto hits the top of the counter earning a crack on it," I've been accused and no one believes me! How- no- Why? That's the real question here. Why would I kill my grandfather? The person I loved so dearly to my heart. The person I cared so much about. Why frame me?" he falls to his knees," No one believes me. My parents do but what's the use? That won't change the minds of everyone about me." He mumbles to himself," the fact that he did it for popularity…"

"What?" Naruto didn't answer as the tears silently streamed down his face," Naruto…" she kneels beside Naruto hugging him. She says softly with her voice cracking a little trying not to cry," Tell me please. What happened?"

Naruto told everything. Sakura held her hand to her mouth from keeping herself from screaming.

"H-how cruel…"

Sakura wraps her arms around the blonde, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I didn't think you would've believed me."

"Naruto, I believe you. You didn't do it"

"Sakura…" Naruto now wraps his arms around Sakura," Thank you." For someone to finally agree with him is a big relief for Naruto. To know that the girl he love for so long and would comfort her would actually comfort him. For now on Naruto, I will be by your side. Even if it hurts me... I don't want you getting hurt like that ever again.

They both gaze into each other's eyes. There true emotions for each other were mixed in their eyes. Showing those emotions they share a kiss. A sweet passionate kiss.

"So this is where you've been doing, Sakura." Naruto and Sakura immediately look at the door to see who was there.

Who's the person at the door?

I know it isn't as long for keeping you in the hole for so long but, I decided that I will keep you wondering ;) I'm awesome like that. WAHAHAHA

Stay tuned!
