Who's the person at the door?

Rumors: Uzumaki (Part 1.2)

The two teens stared at the person at the door, eyes widen at who it is.

"So this is where you've been doing, Sakura."

Sakura mutters the name under her breath," Karin." Karin then walks in the room after she had muttered her name and closes the door.

"Sakura, Sakura, Sakura… I would've never expected you being with him of all the boys in the school to fuck with. I mean are you clueless? Do you realize I can potentially ruin your life by just opening my mouth?" She then walks around Naruto and Sakura with her hands behind her back. Naruto looks at Sakura but to his surprise she wasn't scared or worried. Instead she was smirking? The blonde stared at the pinkette in confusion to why she would smirk at a time like this. Karin could ruin her life and yet she's smirking? A soft chuckle arose from the pinkette's lips earning a scoff from Karin.

"What would be so funny forehead?" Sakura looks up with a sleek grin on her face that ran chills through the red head's body.

"Go ahead Karin, I don't care." At the same time Naruto and Karin gasped loudly. They expected Sakura to be afraid of losing her popularity not acting sane and cool as if everything will be alright. Naruto was really worried about her at this point hoping she wouldn't do anything out of the ordinary. After all, she was the only person that understood his pain and suffering.

"Sakura are you insane? Do you really-"

"Yes Naruto, I know what I'm doing." Naruto was confused by what she meant since all he sees is her making the situation worse.

"Ha, you're bluffing. You shouldn't have the balls to say that. "Karin smiles inwardly to herself," Then that way, Sasuke could be all mines with you at the bottom of the social chain along with the outcast over there." She moves closer to Sakura's face with a low taunting whisper," And that way, at least you could be with Naruto right? Wouldn't that benefit everyone in this situation? I get what I want and you get what you want, wouldn't that be perfect?"

"No, it wouldn't. Who am I for letting a person like you choose my happiness?" Karin was left without anything to say," Your version of something perfect is a lot different from my vision of something perfect. This school is not perfect, labeling people by what they look like not by who they are! If you'd walk a mile in their shoes then you would see how it feels!"

"Ha as if! I would never be caught dead being the outcast of the social chain. That's why being with Sasuke Uchiha would be every fangirl's dream! I would be noticed among everyone for once. Not just in school but in public too! They would notice me as Karin Uzumaki and not that girl with the bright red hair!" Naruto eyes widened at the mentioning of his last name, Uzumaki. "

"Did you just say Uzumaki?"

"Oh yeah you probably didn't know right? Well I knew all along. I knew about the traitorous Aunt Kushina and Uncle Minato. And least importantly, I knew about you, the unwanted one." Naruto and Sakura didn't know what to say to that while the blonde didn't know how to feel at this point. Then anger surged inside of him when he replayed those words in his head. Did she call them traitorous?

Before he could give a remark she interrupted," I'm taking it that your mother was a whore-"

"Now you're taking this too far-"

"It's true! She abandoned her instinct family to marry that man! The Uzumaki bloodline is dying out thanks to her. My," She pauses for a second of being hesitant. Karin could feel the tears streaming down her cheeks." Mother died after having me. They treated me as the cursed one who ruined the family. And slowly but surely they began to die out as well leaving the only Uzumaki to live is me, Kushina, and my cousin Nagato. "A couple of sniffles came from Karin when she wiped her eyes that glared at Naruto." But you…" She charges toward Naruto raising her hand in the air" You ruined everything!" At full speed her hand was heading towards Naruto's face. Sakura heard a loud smacking sound echo through the room. She looks over to see Naruto catching her wrist before she could touch his face. She looked at Karin to see her sobbing," You made my life miserable. I always resented you. Your hair color wasn't a loud red but instead blonde. You had blue eyes instead of a shade of dark red. And when I saw you, you were always smiling." Then a wicked grin crept upon her face," Then you stopped smiling, I was finally happy. I was happy that you weren't happy, that way it could make me feel better knowing you were miserable! After all you did kill your grandfather." The stunned blonde stared at Karin, and then she pushed him catching him off guard now that she's free from his grip.

"GAH!" Naruto stumbles to the table behind him.

"No matter what you may say, I will believe Sasuke!" Karin run towards the door and looks back, giving a cold glare at Naruto," After all, who will believe a monster?" Then she disappeared after the door was slammed close. Sakura scowled at the door storming towards it as if she were to chase after Karin. She wouldn't just stand there and let an egotistical bitch like Karin toss around Naruto and call him…a monster. Sakura knew his whole story and that Naruto wouldn't lie about something as serious as this.

"Sakura, don't do it. It's not worth it." Naruto said in a low time as his bangs covered his eyes. By the sound of his voice, Sakura slowed to a stop.

"Naruto..."

"Listen Sakura, I want to be alone for right now-"

"But Naruto-"

"Sakura please." Sakura's superior expression softens into a sympathetic look, glancing back at Naruto heading towards the door. As she opens it and looks back at him, she says," Naruto, I will fix this."

That was the last Naruto Uzumaki had seen of Sakura… until tonight, that is.

Hello fellow readers, I have apologized too much for my absences on FF and I couldn't help it either. I never stopped thinking about you and this story and I try with the very little time I have now to update this story, even if it's a short update. I know exactly how you feel, after a long time, you receive a short update from a story you've been longing to read and it's pretty much irritating. With me having a Christmas break now, I finally had time to finish up this chapter. I wish I could've written more but my mind ran blank on how I should continue onto the next step! It is 12:18 AM at the time and I do need to wake up in the next 6 hours for Christmas shopping.
