Sorry about the short chapter
Sonic stumbled to his feet, feeling the pain all throughout his body. Shadow didn't let up. He ran at Sonic full speed, and delivered a knee to the stomach when he got there, sending him flying. He Chaos-Controlled to where Sonic was headed, caught him mid-air, and slammed him into the ground. Chunks of earth flew in all directions as Shadow forced Sonic into the ground. He then lifted Sonic up and slammed his head into Sonic's. The beating was relentless. Every hit took its toll on Sonic. He couldn't take much more, soon he would give out.
Shadow tossed Sonic into Tails' Workshop. Sonic slammed through the first wall, crashing into the second. Several bottles of fuel for the Tornado spilt onto Sonic, covering him in gasoline. Shadow smirked as he charged up a ball of Chaos Energy. "Burn you son of a bitch." Shadow launched the ball of energy at the structure. Time seemed to slow down as the blast quickly approached the workshop. Sonic felt his heart beat slow down as it rapidly came towards him. He closed his eyes, waiting for his impending doom.
Then it happened. The blast of energy hit the fuel and ignited the entire workshop. The fire ripped through the small building in a matter of seconds, and the only thing left was a pile of burning rubble.
