GPOV:

"What do you think you are doing?"

"Lord Saruman? I was just, I mean I was trying to-"

"Did you not hear me? What do you think you are doing?"

"I was trying to heal myself. I found this book on the shelf and thought that I could just-"

"Just what? Disobey what I tell you. Go against my wishes and orders just for some selfish trick. You are a disappointment to me. You are not even ready for this level of magic. If something went wrong, you could end up damaging yourself and even worse, this land"

"You damage me" Kaydriella whispers under her breath.

"What was that?"

"You Damage Me! If you would not hurt me so much, there would be no need for me to find a healing spell"

"In any case, if you could block my attacks better, than you wouldn't get hurt. You are weak. I told you, you are not ready to learn anything else. I've told you that you should build up a defense before offence. I've told you no extra magic without my supervision. "

"I am strong enough to do it. I'm strong enough to learn something new. I am stronger than you give me credit for. You do not let me show you this"

"There is no need to see some feeble attempt-"

""I am not feeble. I am not weak. These books are my proof. They all say it take more strength to defend than it does to attack. I've been doing the hard part for long enough"

"I am the expert and I will not have my authority over run by some selfish, pretentious, annoying little elf brat"

Saruman brings his staff forward ready to attack Kaydriella. He strikes her hard, directly at her chest. Kaydriella puts her arms in front trying to protect herself, but the hit is too strong. Her body flies across the library and hits the other end of a bookshelf. She tries to get up but before she can do so, Saruman attacks again. He throws her body against another bookshelf and slams her back against a wall. Once he releases her body, she hits the floor like a rag doll. Kaydriella can barely move to get up. She focuses all her strength into putting up a shield around herself. She is able to produce a minor shield but it doesn't hold for long. Saruman strikes her shield with an immense about of force, bringing Kay back down to her knees.

"Knell before your elders; Kneel before me. Know your place. It shall never be above my own"

"You may be able to overtake my body and command it at your will, (She begins to shout the end) BUT YOU WILL NEVER HAVE MY HEART! MY SOUL!" Kaydriella spoke with full conviction.

"Insolent child!" Saruman knocks her down by hitting her in the back of the head with his staff. Kaydriella's mind goes dark and her body grows cold.

SPOV:

What am I going to do? She is becoming too strong, too confident. She is knocked out for the time being, however, I need to figure out a way to contain her and her power. She is much too strong to be kept free. I must cage her. Stripe her of everything; her freedom, her powers. YES! That is what I'll do! I will chain her in the dungeon. Starve her out. Weaken her with the duration of time. Then when she is most vulnerable, I'll transfer the power within her and take it for myself. No one could stand in the way of Sauron and Saruman, with a newly acquired power. And after her part is played, what then? Do I kill her? Do I let her live?

I walk back to the library, and see it is a complete mess. Kaydriella's blood is soaking into some of my oldest books. Ugh! That wretched girl. She still lies unmoved on the floor. I should move her before she wakes up. I pick Kay's lifeless body and carry her down to the dungeon. She seems already too light for her size. Would starving her really be a good idea? Stop it Saruman. You are the most powerful wizard. You do not feel sympathy for those less than you. But I care about her. She has grown so much with me. Stop it for the sake of your own good. If, by some rare chance, you've grown attached to this girl you must detach yourself from her. She is just a pawn in this game. She is nothing of great significance. You've been raising her for a while with the intention of killing her in the end. Do not change it now when you must stick with your plan.

GPOV:

Saruman reaches the dungeons and lays her down gently on the cold, dark, stone floor. He chains her up and glances on last time into her face. He does not possess the courage of looking her in the eye any longer. He brushes a strand of hair away from her face and places his hand on her cheek. He inhales deeply and lets out a heavy sigh. He walks back up the stairs and stares one last time at her motionless body. He then proceeds to close the door and seal out any remaining light from the dungeon. He walks back up the stairs back to his main room and begins to explain his plan to Lord Sauron; how he will soon have the child's gifts and how he intends on use it.

Gandalf's POV:

"Is it secret? Is it Safe?"

Frodo hurries to a chest and begins to dig under some old scrolls. He holds up an envelope to me, which I assume is the one I put the ring in. I snatch it out of his hand and quickly throw it into the fire. There is no time for formalities, especially if this could be the one ring. I watch as the paper burns around the ring and pick out the rings with a pair of tongs on the side of the fire place.

"Hold out your hand Frodo. It's quite cool"

Frodo holds out his hand and I drop the ring into his hand. He is hesitant to accepting the ring, probably because he believes it to be still hot.

"What can you see? Can you see anything?"

I get up and walk away towards the other end of the room. He alone must be the one to see the markings, if they are even to show.

"Nothing "

I sigh in relief.

"Wait, there are markings. It's some form of elvish. I can't read it"

Then it is as I feared it to be. Bilbo had the one ring of power. Bilbo used the ring. This is not good. I now fear many things.

"There are few who can. The language is that of Mordor, which I will not utter hear"

"Mordor?" Frodo seemed confused. He had no idea of what he was holding in his hand.

"In the common tongue it says One ring to rule them all. One ring to find them. One ring to bring them all to darkness and bind them"

I go to kitchen and light up my pipe. I need to think how we will choose our next move. It is imperative that we do not mess up. This ring cannot fall into anyone else's hands. Frodo begins to make some tea and here is where I will explain it all to him.
