"I'm in love with a Mudblood"
Chapter Six: Where we Started, we Shall End it.
Harry Potter glared across the Great Hall at Malfoy arguing with Pansy, while his fork stabbed a sausage over and over.
It had been three weeks since the "diary incident" as Ron liked to call it and Harry only had one more week to suffer with Filch.
'Just leave it Harry,' Hermione said sternly, 'it doesn't matter – besides, your punishment was very fair – I did tell you to return Malfoy's journal.'
'Diary,' corrected Ron, laughing around some egg, 'Malfoy's girly enough to call it a diary.'
Harry continued to glare. The snake hadn't bothered to even make eye contact with him since the "diary incident" and it frustrated him, 'I'm going to class,' he said, pushing his abused sausage away and he left in a huff.
Ron shrugged at Hermione's concerned look, 'I told him to sort it out,' the girl only looked more confused, Ron smirked, 'Don't tell me you haven't figured it out?'
Hermione frowned, 'what are you talking about?'
'I'm not telling,' sing-songed the youngest Weasley boy, 'Having too much fun knowing something you don't,' he laughed at her offended expression.

Harry sighed, leaning against the cool wall of the dungeons.
'It won't work.'
'You haven't even considered it!'
The chosen one frowned, ears pricked at the conversation.
'I did just now, and it's ridiculous! I don't even know why we're discussing this in public,' there was a sigh.
'Just do it!'
Parkison and Malfoy rounded the corner, the blonde boy's mouth open to retort, but he fell silent seeing Harry, bowing his head and blushed. The Slytherin prince pinched his giggling friend under the arm and pulled her away.
Weird, thought Harry as he strained his ears to catch the rest of their conversation.
'I won't,' whispered Malfoy, 'I can't!'
'Sure you can!' the girl shouted, Malfoy pinched her again, 'ow – prat! It'll work! Trust me!'
The snake glanced over his shoulder, catching Harry's stare and glared. Harry Poked out his tongue.
'I'd rather die,' he said dramatically.
The other students began gathering around the door, making it difficult for Harry to continue eavesdropping.
'I'll do it!' shouted Blaise, laughing loudly.
The door creaked open, revealing Snape, he raised an eyebrow, silencing the students, 'in.'
o~O~o~O~o~O~o
Harry could barely concentrate on the potion instructions, his attention focused on the Slytherins. Pansy pulled Malfoy's journal out of his bag and pushed it towards the blonde, he shook his head aggressively, and tried to put it away.
Blaise lips moved suspiciously as if he had said "don't make me curse you" which seemed to have convinced their friend, because he snatched the book away, scribbled something in it and threw it at Pansy's head.
The pair looked over the writing and gave the blonde oy a very cheesy thumbs up before turning back to their cauldrons. Malfoy appeared to have said something inappropriate as Pansy responded with a kick at him from under the desk.
'Enough,' Snape said to the class, 'If you haven't made the midway point yet, I suggest you hurry up – if you have, then leave,' about half the class packed their things.
'Want us to wait for you harry?' asked Ron, looking over his friend's potion.
Harry groaned, 'no… I'll see you at Transfiguration,' Ron nodded.
A few more students left, leaving only Snape, Harry, Malfoy and Neville.
The professor stalked around the classroom, sniffing loudly at Neville's potion, shooing him away, saying it was "good enough". The Potions Master stared into Malfoy's cauldron and nodded, granting him permission to leave also.
Malfoy fumbled with his belongings as he rushed out the door, Harry groaned as Snape approached him.
'Hmmm… pity…' the greasy professor mumbled, Harry bit the inside of his cheek, 'at the very least, it's the correct colour… go.'
Harry shoved his items away, about ready to do the bolt, when he noticed a familiar book, sitting open on the floor. 'uh, professor?' Snape ignored him, locking himself in his study.
The famous boy sighed and picked up Malfoy's journal, rolling his eyes at how stupid the blonde must be to leave it behind again. Harry meant to close it, his intention to return it right away this time, but his eyes landed on a rather large scrawl and his eyes bulged.
'I knew you couldn't resist.'
Harry's heart hammered loudly, seeing Malfoy leaning against the door frame, 'er…' the dark haired teen blushed, looked away and back down to the journal.
Malfoy growled out a sigh, 'have you forgotten how to read?' he said impatiently, snatching the book away, mumbling, 'I knew this was a bad idea.'
The Slytherin turned to leave and harry panicked, 'wait!' he grabbed Malfoy's arm, 'is that true?'
Malfoy frowned, 'well… yeah?'
Harry blushed further, realising how stupid the question was, 'I mean, I know that's true… I meant, you… and me?'
The Slytherin nodded slowly, trying to figure out the Gryffindor's next move. He never expected the lion to shove him up against the dungeon wall and to snog his brains out.
Malfoy dropped his journal, wrapping his arms around Harry, entangling his fingers in the dark locks of hair. The boys moaned shamelessly, grabbing at every inch of each other they could reach over clothing before jumping apart, startled as the bell rang.
'Er,' Harry attempted to correct his glasses and Malfoy licked his lips.
'Good talk,' breathed out the blonde, 'let's discuss this more another time,' and with that, he dashed out of the room.
Harry stood there in shock, blushing and touching his slightly swollen lips, he smirked. Grabbing his bag from the floor, 'Malfoy! Wait up!'
And Draco's journal was left abandoned on the cold dungeon floor, opened at a seemingly random page, showing off gleefully the last entry in its pages.
You're a Mudblood too, Potter.
