Okay, so please feel free to hate me for taking so long to update this. I had College then life and then University. But i'm all educated now and have lots of free time to get on with things I want to do (when not busy job hunting). So here you have it, I'm updating and completing all my old fanfics. I hope you enjoy a slightly lighthearted chapter before it gets all gritty again.
Sirius black was sat in the back garden, a cigarette pursed between his lips as he glared at the floor, deep in thought. He was thinking of all the things he had been through in the previous months, the bitch of a cousin of his, the pure insanity of the world and situation he currently found himself in. It was ridiculous, disgusting, completely unnecessary and for lack of any better word completely insane. It hadn't been enough that Sirius had suffered without the one girl he'd actually managed to commit to in his entire life now his insane excuse of a family had made his remaining sane family suffer as he had? He couldn't imagine what Andromeda and Ted were going through, didn't want to, the mere pain of losing Mairead was enough and now his innocent little second cousin was gone and going through god knows what? He could explode, he could literally storm from this place and kill every last person on this earth until he found those two innocent girls . . . no, that was the Black in him talking, he needed to stay calm, he needed to figure this out . . .
"We're going to find them, Padfoot." The sound of one of his eldest friends brought him out of his trance of thoughts, Remus, he was always the logical and smart one.
"We're gonna find them, we're gonna bloody destroy that lunatic and get them!" James was never as calm as Remus, but Sirius liked that about him. He was much more to the point and would defend his friends to the ends of the earth, no matter what stupid situations that got them into.
Sirius dropped his cigarette to the floor, trying to arrange his thoughts, brimming with anger at the situation. He immediately lit another cigarette, trying to calm himself. "I'm not sitting around anymore, I'm going to do something. I have to do something." He said through gritted teeth.
Remus sighed, sitting on the garden bench "I know, we're all going to do something, we're going to get them back. The Order is on it now, you've already done lots of investigating into Mairead and that will help now. We just need to sit down together and think, I'm sure -"
"I'm sorry Moony but no. Sitting around is just going to get everyone killed! There's potentially two lives at stake here and I'm not going to just think about it, I'm going to do something!" Sirius went to storm back into the house but was quickly stopped by his messy haired friend grabbing his arm.
"Wait, calm down. We have a plan okay? Me and Moony had a talk before we came out here. We're going to get them back." James smiled reassuringly.
"And how on earth are we going to do that? I know! Let's go fly the hippogriffs to make believe land, find Bellatrix and say 'Excuse me miss, can I please have your hostages, pretty please?' and ofcourse it will all work out and before we know it we'll be sat in The Leaky Cauldron sipping butterbeer and having a right old laugh together, Voldy aswell-bugger it I'm sure he'll buy the first round!" Sirius Black was clearly not impressed.
Remus stood up, rolling his eyes "No, James and I have been doing our own investigating. We believe we know where Bellatrix lives. We have a plan."
"See, we're not idiots Sirius, we know what we're doing and we want to help . . . and for the record I'd much prefer a Fire Whiskey than a butter beer, just don't tell Lilly, yeah?" James smiled and winked at his old friend.
Sirius couldn't help but let out the smallest of laughs "What's the plan then you tosspot?"
The two men smiled at Sirius and before they knew it they were sat around the garden bench, feverish conversation soon erupted and if one didn't know any better you'd think the three boys were back at school focusing deeply on some hard assignment. But then if you did know any better you'd know that James and Sirius never got that into their school work, this was something else . . .
Thanks for reading, just to let you know one of the main things that made me get back to this was reading all the reviews, so I'd majorly appreciate it if you could review! I'm going to get this updated within the week. :)
