A/N: 5. Okay, I'm coming out of hiding now! So, first thing first, thank you all for the lovely reviews (I'll reply as soon as I post this.), I still can't get over the fact of how excited I get when I receive one. Reviews, follows, fave and simply reading this fic are all greatly welcome with big hugs.

4. Next is, nope I'm not giving up on this fic at all, not in a long shot. I plan to continue writing in Naomily land for some time. I don't want to make my writing impersonal so I would like to explain but not to delay you any longer, I'll put it the A/N at the end.

3. This chapter is definitely not up to my standards, I wrote the first half a few weeks back and the second half today. It's 4.35am here in SG so I have not proof read, do forgive me if it's not what you expect from this okay.

2. Anyone receiving replies from irislwt, yes, that's me. That's why I end with an initial I. It's my reading account, I wanted to keep things separate but I'm not sure how FF mixed up my emails.

1. Giving credits where it is due. Wanna say the biggest thank you to whedonite1113, not sure if she will ever read this but just know that the discovery of fanfiction for me was through her story of "It's So Fragile" when I was searching Skins on Tumblr. And congrats to marsupial1974 for the completion of "The Road to Wimbledon", much love for our tennis playing Naomily!

Now, on with the show.

Disclaimer: Everything in this story is fictional other than my typos and lack of proof reading, that's real af.

Chapter 4

Although Naomi has convinced herself to say no to Emily's request when she excused herself to the washroom as she figured there were too many challenges that came along, the Fitch twins had quickly put all her woes to rest.

The only condition being the relationship has to last for at least six months. When Naomi questioned the intent, she was told that it cannot be revealed as the people involved will be placed in delicate positions.

Which is why 12 hours later, Naomi was sitting behind the sisters in the carvan and making their way to a fitness centre which celebrities frequented.

Emily has just hit the sent button of – 9.30, Kliter Fitness Centre. Pool. To inform Mandy where to send the reporters when Naomi texted Pandora that she needs to go on leave today.

Shortly after, they arrived by the swimming pool when Katie pulled up a small bag and handed it to Naomi. "Get changed and be by the pool in 10 minutes, the reporters should arrive in 15."

With the bag in hand, Naomi walked into a fairly huge cubicle that belonged to her for as long as she was within the facility. Upon opening of the bag, several swimwear spilled out of it and immediately one of it caught Naomi's eyes.

It was a leopard printed one piece swimwear. Naomi picked it up with an incredulous smile, "are you shitting me?" and a shake of her head. In the end, Naomi arrived by the pool in a blue halter and matching boy shorts.

She found Emily sitting on a pool lounge chair in a bikini that was of similar blue though slightly brighter. On her walk towards Emily, two things got her senses at attention.

The first thing that grabbed her attention was how Emily's breasts seemed to be struggling within the confines of the top. 'If only I could release them.' Naomi thought, salivating on the prospect of it.

'Stop it, Naomi! Bad Naomi!' the rational part of her brain told her.

'Maybe she likes 'em bad girls, eh?' her brows raised slightly.

'Enough! She's looking at you right now. Look her in the eyes!' With that, the conversation in her head ended.

The next attention-seeker was how Emily seemed picture-perfect, the way she laid on the lounger and how she was smiling at Naomi which soon made sense when Naomi saw the number of paparazzi standing outside the pool's ceiling-to-floor glass panels.

By the time she sat on the lounger beside Emily, her body was rigid and her palms were collecting sweat. It was the soothing hands of Emily's that was on Naomi's shoulder that allowed her to take her eyes of the flashes that were coming from the camera. "Relax, just follow my lead." Emily called out softly, giving Naomi's shoulder a squeeze before letting go.

Naomi's tensed shoulders let off just a little as she put up a good act to convince the reporters.

Emily fed her chips, leaned in close to whisper mindless comments of the several reporters before they broke apart and laughed. One particular instance was when they were sharing a fruit punch. Their proximity was close enough that as Emily looked up from sipping the drink, she noticed for the first time how beautiful Naomi was; especially with her faded azure blue eyes that looked familiar and has a hint of light grey rims surrounding her irises.

Naomi looked up a second later finally noticing how electrified the atmosphere had become. To say that Emily's eyes were burning like the sun may be an adequate description but not precise to capture the burning.

Naomi's jaw had already slackened slightly from the intense stare before she took a visible gulp as she noticed Emily leaning in slowly. Just before their lips touched, Naomi noticed the flashes going off more frequent and the chatter beyond the facilities' barricades could be heard even from within the glass panels.

Emily knew what she was doing and how it would looked to the reporters from the angle she was sitting at. What she was not sure was who she was doing it for, the cameras or herself.

A twist of her neck muscle and her lips made a turn towards Naomi's ears before whispering, "Let's go for a swim, Naomi." She smirked as she pulled back and made her way to the edge of the pool.

Naomi who was dumbfounded by Emily's actions still have not made a move until a splash sound rang throughout the facility. Naomi gave herself a quick shake of her head before running to the pool hoping to go in cannonball style.

Unfortunately, right before she made it to the edge, she tripped on the back of her feet and her front landed with a smack against the water instead. When she surfaced from the water, all she could hear was Emily's hysterical laugh and her body flushed red not just from the unsuccessful cannonball.

Emily could sense Naomi's rising unease as she caught the mocking glances and gestures from the paparazzi which pushed her to improvise a little. Emily pushed a handful of chlorine water in a sideways manner and spraying Naomi over her head. When Naomi looked at her with questions in her eyes, she simply said "You splashed at me. Now's payback time."

With that began their water fight.

The walk from the exit to the car seems a desert apart to Naomi as Emily's single personal body guard, Travis, was opening a pathway amongst the hounding reporters. Naomi was pushed into the carvan with heavily tinted window as Emily stayed out to address the journalists.

"Please don't do this." A simple sentence from Emily and the reporters bit onto it like a steak being waved in front of a hungry stray dog.

The reporters bombarded questions after questions.

"Is she your girlfriend, Emily?" a blonde female.

Emily's reply was "You won't believe me even if I deny it." That had brought along a round of gasp and frantic writings and snapping of picture.

"So it's confirmed, you're gay?" shouted a jet black hair male frantically penning down Emily's words.

"I think there was a conference held for my coming out, did you miss it?" Emily questioned smugly while the others were laughing at apparently an intern writer.

A few more questions regarding how they met, how long they have been together and why Emily had been so secretive about it was answered by Emily's smoothly fabricated lie. "Okay guys, you've put me in a very difficult position already so that's all for today."

As the vehicle drove off to the streets of London, Emily's smile had already dropped completely and she was looking out the window as she whispered repeatedly, "Six months," over and over again.

The ripple effect from the latest news hitting the media was instantaneous.

Freddie who was surfing the net stumble upon news and as he scrolled further down, his rage soared further up. "Fuck!" and the forceful bang producing a loud crack against the wooden table put a stop to his reading as he sat in his chair seething with anger.

Mathew Shanick's attention was drawn to the video billboard by Leo McClair about the news flash being reported. Having lunch at the 20th floor of a hotel meant they have an unhindered view of Emily holding onto Naomi's hand and walking out of the Fitness Centre. "I see you've had a chat with your daughter after our last conversation," Leo stated as he turned back to Mathew with a satisfied smile.

"Yes, indeed I did." Mathew commented. "Now, I hope none of this would interfere with our partnership, personal or not." Mathew asked and Leo could almost hear the slight plead in his tone.

"No, in fact I think it'll all work out just fine."

Mandy saw it as she was driving back to work after having lunch with Karen. She spotted Emily's name in the subtitle first before her noticing what the news on the big screen was about. The comprehension was five seconds later and her grip on her steering wheel become vice-like as her mood was thoroughly soiled.

The postal office gang; Kieran, Thomas, JJ, Panda and Sophia were in the pantry when JJ who was surfing the net saw it. "That's our Naomi right?" he passed the phone to Panda and soon it was being passed around their circle.

Kieran who was last to read it ordered JJ to call Naomi to confirm it, "But I don't have her number…" JJ confessed.

"And you call yourself her co-worker, boy. Thomas boy, call her for me." Kieran commanded.

"I'm sorry sir but I do not possess her number as well" Thomas answered after a beat and to his credit, looking rather shameful.

"How is it that you have been working together for years and not have her number?!" Kieran gruff voice raised slightly from his frustration in not knowing if the news was true or not.

"Well then Kieran, you must have her number right?" Panda asked almost like the teacher's pet asking all the right questions to be asked.

"Well, no… no," he looked around as they stared back. "I recently changed my phone." And he stood, picking up his mug as he made his way to his room.

Naomi was dropped off outside her house by the Fitch twins and after a rather awkward goodbyes as well as thank yous, Naomi slipped down to the ground and landed with a thud on her butt. She saw movement to her left and noticed a ginger cat sitting by the curb of the road, they stared for a moment.

Then Naomi broke the staring contest with the curious cat, "you see that?" a pause.

"You must have," She questioned and answered with her goofy grin before looking intently at the cat.

"The redhead girl, well, the pretty one. She's Emily Fitch, London's fineness." She giggled before standing up. "Lucky you," and made her way inside.

She saw Cook first before she heard Effy walked out from the kitchen behind her. "You need help with that?" Naomi did not wait for an answer before taking the bottles of beer from Effy's hands.

Naomi left her briefcase by the side of the coffee table before she settled between Effy's legs at the bottom of the couch. Right at the moment, Cook was doing his usual interrogation of how Naomi's day went as he switched to the news channel. Upon hearing the headline of "Emily Fitch secret love life", Naomi made an effort to get to her room but was deterred by Effy clamming down on her shoulders with her feet. It was almost like Effy sensing that the news was about her.

"Huh, guess that puts Emily's coming out as legit, another one out to break heart." Cook commented. "Lucky bitch, whoever she is."

Naomi tried harder to get out of her temporary jail but was proven to nought and as the news play out, Naomi resigned to her fate. Cook made an offhand comment about the similarity at first before the reporter announced "Naomi Anne Campbell from London post office" was Emily Fitch's new lover that the penny finally dropped.

"Wait." Cook whispered calmly. "You're Naomi Anne Campbell."

Naomi continued looking at him dumbly still trapped between Effy's legs and it was Effy who answered. "Yes, yes she is."

"And you work at London post office?" the questions continued along with Naomi's silence.

"Yeah, yeah she do." Effy continued.

"So you became Emily Fitch's, London's most famous actress, model and singer, new girlfriend?" Cook listed of his finger and looked in disbelieved now.

This time Effy looked to Naomi as well with one eyebrow perfectly raised above the other. Naomi turned to look from Cook to Effy and back. "Yup, yup I guess I have." Naomi finally answering the questions herself but before the interrogation began, she pried Effy's legs off and ran as fast as she could to her room upstairs.

Locking the door behind her as she heard thumping footsteps then the banging began. She could hear Effy asking Cook to ask the question before he shouted through the door to let Naomi hear more clearly.

"Not today guys, I'll explain another day!" Naomi shout back. With that she walked to her bed and fell like a limp body upon it. Finally feeling the toll of the day catching up with her.

It's been about a week since the news has been out. Naomi has explained the fabricated story she was supposed to tell to both Cook and Effy. Although Cook looked confused, he was utterly excited and asked a lot of logical questions for once in his life, one of which being "how is it that you were dating and I've never known?" Naomi answered it like a five year old child lying about stealing a cookie from the cookie jar for the first time. However, Cook took it all in looking convinced and Effy was sitting throughout the conversation with only 2 expressions; sceptical or sceptical but with a smirk.

Today, Naomi was having lunch with the postal office workers who had hounded her for answers after she returned to work and she told the story once more but better after the first round of practice with Cook and Effy. During the week, the postal office gang seemed to have grown closer to Naomi as to the bout of answers they seek from her.

They were sitting in a Japanese restaurant holding conversations when Kieran interrupted to ask of the request. "Naomi," he called, "Lassie, you see, the company's sports day is coming up yeah?"

"Yeah, why?" she asked, eager to go back to hearing Thomas story about his night out DJ-ing at the club.

"The sales department hasn't been very motivated every year to play for it, yeah?" Kieran took a sip from his drink before looking to Naomi.

"Yeah yeah, a little, I've always liked it though."

"That's right, we all like the company's sports day right?" This time he continued before Naomi could answer, "So, we wanna ask you to invite Emily around, you know support her girlfriend and all but she could kinda make everyone more interested to play the game?" Kieran finished, sitting up straighter in his seat, making known his position.

"I'm… I'm not sure bout that. She has a busy schedule." Naomi prattled as she tries to find a way to fend off troubling Emily. "I wouldn't want to trouble her with us being new at this relationship thing."

"Well, I'm sure you could find a way." Kieran nodded, finalising the conversation as the food was served.

When they made their way out after lunch, Panda spotted the charity fair by the park and insist the gang go check it out with some time to spare.

Naomi saw her first, almost like nature's call that her sights went to the area where she was. Emily was standing by the side of the entrance speaking to an abnormally tall lady in smart navy blue dress. Emily looking rather calm while the gestures of the other suggest otherwise.

Emily who turned slightly to find Naomi standing behind Mandy knew she had to end the conversation soon as Naomi might approach her. "Mans, I know you don't want me to come because you think it's not fair of your father but I wanted to, alright? Stop worrying about it and go now." With that Mandy left, not knowing what else was left to argue but feeling extremely sullen for what her father has done.

Once Mandy moved away, the gang saw Emily Fitch approaching the first stall by the fair's entrance. They suggested going over to say hi and Kieran made it a point to remind Naomi of their conversation during lunch.

Before they could reach they stall, a group of people in suits walked through the entrance and straight to the stall where Emily was.

"Emily Fitch, thank you for joining us at this fair, I'm glad you could make it." Mathew Shanick greeted, offering his hand for a handshake.

"Yes, it is not a problem at all and promoting for charity, I'll do what I can to help." Emily returned the gesture.

"You're Emily Fitch? Wow, you do look better in the flesh. I'm Karen McClair." Karen offered her hand.

"Thanks," Emily said as she subtly glanced at Mandy who had Karen by her arms as she took Karen's hand with a smile.

"I see we might have interrupted you here," Mathew raised the question as he turned to see Naomi's group of postal workers behind them. "This is your new girlfriend then? Visiting you while you work?" Mathew spotted the slight jaw clench and tensing of body from his daughter.

"She looks rather beautiful," Karen commented.

"Th-Thanks," Naomi politely accepted the compliment. "We just came by to say hi." Naomi said trying to make things brief for fear of leaking information she should not. With a slight jab at her left rib, she turned to see Kieran lifting his brows to ask his silent question. "And… You see… There's this sports day happening this weekend so… Just wanna know if you'll be there? Supporting the department, I mean." Naomi asked.

"Aww… Your girlfriend is adorable." Karen squeaked.

Emily easily agreed, hoping to get the two groups away from this awkward situation. There was a small cheers coming from Thomas and JJ before they left for work and the group of suits moved off to the other stalls.

A/N: Okay part 2 of my nonsense. Here's some reasons why my writing has not been up to date.

1. School - I've just finished an exam paper in less than 10 hrs ago and I really wanted to post this especially when I noticed it's about 2 months since I last updated. Still have 5 papers to go in the next 2-3 weeks so please bear with me.

2. Work - I've currently swap part time job, there were some contract issues but it's over now. My new job is rather challenging so it took quite a bit of my time.

3. Passion - I do rock climbing (I'd like to think I do it professionally) so I have to keep in shape to keep up during competitions.

4. Fun - I have my social life to maintain but that being said, this story has to be done for fun. I do not wanna pressurised myself into meeting deadlines on updating, that'll totally kill it for me but that does not mean I do not take high regard of it.

So with that I hope you understand and I'll update as soon as I can! Now it's 4.53am, I shall get to replying reviews and going to bed! =)
