Mothers what were the they? Truly were they gods, saviors, heros or ordinary women that just wiped your nose when you sneezed? I wouldn't know my own mothers role, after my father died the woman known as Seako Kuga vanished without a trace leaving me to my grandmother. Here I was now an adult and the fragments of my childhood were coming together it seemed crazy to think other wise. I wanted to yell, but all I could ask was one question as I stood up wanting to get away but only to stumble back.
"W-What...?" Shizuru stepped forward slowly I knew she was trying slow movements seeing as I wanted to run, her face twisted in pain at as she spoke."N-Natsuki we wanted to... I wanted to ... I wanted to tell you. Your mother she is one of top thee enforcers of the Vatican. I..."
"So you just expect me to go fight my mother! Not forgetting she had been missing for the last ten years of my fucking life! So that's why Haruka and you just want me around huh to keep you here on Earth! You don't care about my father you care about his power!"
"I LOVED YOUR FATHER NATSUKI, JUST LIKE I LOVE YOU!" The anger boiled and elevated within me only to have my fires of anger put out instantly at Shizuru's confession. S-She loves me! As Shizuru swallowed a lump her hands clenched and un-clenched before speaking tears in her eyes her mask finally broken. "Yes Natsuki I have loved you ever since you were a girl. After your father left it was my duty to watch over you so I did from a far. It was with your fathers magic and our bond I was able to reunite with you. That was why I wanted to kill Haruka she wanted to put you in a position for her own means. I wanted you to go with your fathers legacy because you think its right."
"This bond that we have is something that I never got to choose Shizuru even when I was a girl! Yeah I know about the blood transfusions when I was a girl!"
"Kannin Na Natsuki..."Rubbing my tongue over my teeth in annoyance as Shizuru got up from her kneeling position that she placed herself in during the middle of her speech. Tightening my fists I shielded my eyes with my bangs as I clenched my teeth, with all the lies that went on I needed to know because sorry wasn't going to cut it this time.
"I just want to know one thing..."
"Yes anything..."
"Did you do it?"

"No never, I didn't we would never lay a hand on him he was my friend. I have never wanted to hurt any human in my life I swear to you Natsuki," Shizuru pleaded. Looking down she was back on her knees the same position when I commanded her, our fragile relationship was tested at the news of my mother. "Ok answer another question when your cousin and you spent time plotting whatever it was. If would've never heard about my Mother tonight and if I would've became a Templar would you wait until the fucking end to tell me!"
"I would've told you!"
"Well I wouldn't, as well as I didn't want to tell you Natsuki because we are at war simple as that," commented the familiar voice. There in the window was Haruka in all of her glory as she sat on the window seal putting her feet in the apartment she walked in the living room surveying it. "Sorry to interrupt," Haruka looked around as if she owned the place, sneering at the taste of Shizuru's apartment. "How meticulously quaint of you Shizuru to put yourself in this little hovel. Personally I do not see why someone like you a "GrandMaster Knight," should live like a peasant."
"Now and nor is it the time to pick at old wounds cousin state your business!"
"Actually I was worried when Nao informed me of your little "spat" here with Natsuki. So being the worried one and I wanted to check if she hadn't banished you yet or at least you haven't spoke any untruths about me. OH HO, but it looks like I spoke to soon." Glancing between the two, I could tell Haruka guessed the situation.
"B-Banished...W-What do you mean?"
"Oh this is delightful as my dearest Shizuru failed to explain Natsuki; you have the power to banish my dear cousin here." I watched as Shizuru reminded in a Knight's position on the floor. I could hear the light growls and clenching and unclenching of teeth at Haruka's jabbing as her claws scraped the wooden floor. "B-Banish her where?"
"Back to hell of course! You have that power and with the right training you can use it for all mankind and demon kind."
"HARUKA STOP, NATSUKI DON'T BELIEVE IT!" Stumbling back I hit the wall as my eyes widened at the news I was nothing more than a tool, I was stupid to let Shizuru in so close and I felt like a fool for that. I couldn't let my weakness show through so I pushed my pain down as I responded to Haruka. " You talk like your so peaceful Haruka. Y-Yet you wanted me to fight my own mother with the power of the Grand Master Templar! I don't know which one of you is worse, the Vatican or you two? All I know is Haruka, I dont think your sorority is doing it for me. As for you Fujino Sensei, I will give you my withdrawal from class by Monday."
"You can't," the two shouted as though they were twins. I looked as they both spoke the same words together, I wanted my life back. In addition to wanting my life back, didn't want to be the fool Shizuru had me pegged for moments ago when we kissed. I needed everything to reset and I needed to sleep, glancing at the clock on the wall, it was now five and with the sun rising I knew the buses were open. I knew I could walk seeing as I left my bank card back at the dorm a free ride on the bus was in order. I just hoped my luck changed and a bus would come now. With Haruka stepping up first she looked angered as she spoke. "You can't do this think of what your doing!"
"Yes I can, its my fucking life and I'm not about to let a bunch of undead jerks like you two control it!"Walking out I couldn't take anymore of what I was feeling. I didn't want to trust Shizuru if she hid the truth the whole time and how could I? As I hit the cold streets, suddenly my tears came forward as if they weren't my own alarming my heart. Hugging my jacket tighter to me as I wrapped my arms around myself; I walked on as I crossed the street from the Shizuru's apartment window. I'm so stupid so fucking stupid Natsuki! Shizuru doesn't love you, even if she could nothing good would come of it.
Suddenly the loud sounds of crashing came to my ears. Running across the street I was back up stairs in Shizuru's apartment, swinging open the door. The body of Shizuru crashed into the brick wall on the side of me. Looking the side that caused the impact I saw Haruka with her fists up her face battered and bruised her fangs and claws extended. With Shizuru getting up she sped to Haruka as she tackled her, impacting Haruka's body into the wall behind her. All I could see was crawls and fangs with the two. As Shizuru took Haruka by her neck she punched her face, before kicking her so hard that the wall broke through making the sorority leader fall out into the street. As Shizuru jumped down the three story building her fist ran into the ground where Haruka's body quickly moved from. Watching from the newly formed hole in the wall as Haruka ran leading the two them around to another part of the building.
As Shizuru's growls and shouts collied with the neighborhood streets all I could hear from the other side was Shizuru's voice. "NATSUKI'S GONE BECAUSE OF YOU!"Does she not know that I'm here? Heading downstairs I ran into Nao and Mai. Wanting to slap the red-head for leaving me to the painful news of the possibility that my mother might be my enemy, I pushed her aside seeing as there was bigger fish to fry. I scrambled down stairs as Nao and Mai followed. " I dont want to talk right now you two!" Heading out to the side of the building the fight took place at. It was an empty junky courtyard as Shizuru, took an old car with her bare hands lifting it up above her head to throw at Haruka. Are they really this strong? I can't just look at this I need to find a way to stop this! As Nao and Mai caught up Nao finally responded seeing as I left her in the dust moments ago. "Damn your fast when you want to be," panted Nao. Watching the fight I felt helpless as I couldn't stop anything."What is it you want from me!"
"Look you may not want us here,but its not about you. We need to break this up before daylight and any curious eyes come peeking through. From the looks of it, things are starting to get bad seeing that Shizuru is enraged she doesn't notice your here. How did this fight break out?"
"I told them that I didn't want to be in their petty games."
"So your quitting Alpha- Beta?"
"Yes I am and I'm dropping out of Shizuru's class, I guess when I told them and left this happened. I don't know what to do to get them to stop!"
"Your going to take fucking responsibility that's what your going to do!"
"What the hell are you talking about!"
"I'm so sick of your in relapses when it comes to you accepting of us Kuga! Thats what I'm talking about. You get some bad news thats the life of a Princess you get bad news and you do what you can in your power to take control of it! Now you can sit here and act defenseless and hell even give into your delusion in the long run! FACT IS WE DEMONS EXIST AND YOUR THE KEY TO OUR EXISTENCE ALONG WITH EVERY OTHER PRINCESS!"
"Nao thats not far to Natsuki, she's been through enough she needs time to adjust. But, for now we need to focus on separating these two I don't think Haruka can hold out long," commented Mai as she wedged her way in between us. Glancing over to what Mai said she was right. Haruka was on her back her arm in front of her as Shizuru howled and struck at her, snapping her fanged jaws like a chained rabid dog. Until she bit Haruka's arm that separated Shizuru's fangs from her face. "GAHHHHHH!" Instinct kicked in as Haruka found her foot on Shizuru's gut again she sent her flying back into the wrecked car. "Mai you got a plan here!" As Mai reached in her coat she took out something handing it to Nao."Take this its Yukino's blood when you get a hold of Haruka stick her with it."
"Babe are you sure about this? I mean breaking is like breaking up a war look at them they look like rabid dogs, I mean sure I can get Haruka under control no problem. As for Shizuru taking on a MasterKnight its a death sentence! Plus she hasn't been fed properly so she is running on pure instinct and I can't counter that. I can't fight her and win." Glancing at the pocket knife Nao had connected to her jeans I got an idea."You won't need to fight her, Nao I need your knife."
"Kuga I don-"
"Do it now!" Wordlessly she handed me the knife running up to the fight I took the palm of my hand grasping it one last time before flipping open the knife. Pressing hard I dragged a horizontal cut against my palm. Blood its the only way to get her out of this state! It's my blood that has to be spilled! Just then as Shizuru readied for an attack she stopped as she was about to start. Passing by me in a flash Nao tackled Haruka restraining her. Taking something out of her pocket that resembled a needle she placed it in Haruka's neck as she instantly passed out. Looking over to Shizuru all of her eyes were red her fangs extended over her bottom lip. Scars earned themselves as battle trophies on her cheeks and body which was now visible due to Haruka ripping her shirt. Her eyes were trained on me and only me as I looked back to Mai who inched closer to me I spoke. "W-What do I do now?"
"Speak to her your the one that casted the command spell."
"C-Command spell what the fuck!" As she growled over Mai's way it stepped in front of her, I realized that I needed to remain level-headed seeing as all Shizuru saw was literally red. "Ok Mai I need you to step back, I'm going to lead her somewhere."
"Take my car its the red one across the street there is another estate up here its not to far. I will text you the information just keep moving whatever your going to do make sure it's fast. We need to get these two out of here before anyone sees."
"Come on Shizuru wake up its me." As I slightly kneeled and backed up I looked back to see my path as I took it slow leading her as she followed. My hair clung to my brow as I was drenched in sweat and tears, moving her out of the courtyard I looked for the red car. Finding it I just hoped the keys were in the car looking to Shizuru she followed on I was thankful that no one was around. "It's alright Shizuru no ones going to hurt you," I spoke, Shizuru remained quite her eyes were still very red, but now half lidded as they concentrated on me. Seeing that the keys were in the ignition I opened the the drivers side fo the door to unlock the other side. Looking I noticed from a short distance on the other side of the street a jogger. Moving fast I headed to the passengers side of the door. Giving one last painful squeeze I let my blood land on the seat , wincing I struggled to not let out any screams seeing as the jogger moved closer to us.
As the jogger waited at the light I shoved Shizuru in closing the door there was no time to be gentle about this. With no time I headed around to the car, I got in the drivers seat taking off as the jogger passed us. That was fucking close! Not knowing what to do, I bit my lip as I glanced over to Shizuru then to the road. Needless to say she was out of it and there was no way to find a solution. Feeling her cold hand on top of my injured hand she lifted it taking a bite, I wanted to pull away, but I didn't want to wreck the car. Nothing about her feeding felt painful just as before she looked at peace as she ate her eyes were closed with my hand in her mouth. Pulling to a stoplight I fumbled with my free hand to see a text came from Mai. Not wondering how she got my number I stopped caring about the little things. Reading it I didn't know what to say, but she seemed sane out of all of us.
"The place you are going to is called The Archive, it will tell you all you need to know about it and only you have the key to it. Take care Natsuki."

Suddenly the cold left from my hand looking to my cut it was healed. In amazement I looked over to Shizuru she was rested with her eyes slightly opening the pure red faded as her fangs and claws receded to normal length. Still regardless of my blood she was beaten up pretty bad as she opened her mouth she spoke."N-Natsuki you came b-back."
"Y-Yeah I did, don't worry we are going to get you somewhere safe alright?" With her nodding she passed out driving while following the instructions I was scared of this new place that was known as The Archive. What was there and more importantly would there be someone there to help Shizuru? I didn't have the answers to everything even as I drove frantically in the middle of the streets. All I cared about was Shizuru, but something rang in my head and it was the fact that somehow Nao was right. I needed to own up to this and take responsibility that was something I'm sure my father would have wanted.
AN: I'm a bit disappointed in this chapter I didn't think the fight scene wasn't conducted right. Let me know if I did it right ok!
