Terezi paced around the house. She felt sick, but her mind was going nonstop in a blur of scent and picture. She wasn't sure what was happening, but she was pretty sure she was . . . remembering. Oh no. Had Karkat gotten to her? Would she need a touchup? She didn't want to end up anything like that smug hot mess.

"Baby are you okay?" Slurred Kanaya.

For a moment Terezi couldn't remember why Kanaya was calling her baby. "What? Oh. Oh, yeah. I'm perfectly fine, baby. No need to worry." She lied, but the words came out terribly fake.

"Whatever you say." Yawned Kanaya, taking another drink.

Terezi was, in fact, not fine at all. The memories were only confusion, and all she could seem to think about was the fact that she had been breaking the law. She used to dream of punishing criminals just like the person he had become, now she had to make up for it, to satisfy justice . . . but maybe justice could wait awhile, especially since Karkat had reportedly escaped from his touchup and hadn't returned. She'd have to play a good act for the authorities, and try not to turn into a confused mess, or else she'd be worse off than him soon enough.

Dawn was breaking as a slender, dark figure crept through the dim streets. Her eyes were focused on the building before her, which she didn't hesitate to climb, her petite body scaling the wall with ease. She peered in the window of her destination, and to her satisfaction, Maryam was sleeping alone on the couch. An empty bottle was laying on the floor. She must have passed out from the alcohol.

What a shame. Nepeta liked it when her prey put up a bit of a fight.

Regardless, she snuck through the window and silently slipped into the room, claws drawn. She was ready to end her, but when she came near, Kanaya's eyes opened and she sat up, teeth bared. Nepeta took a step back and smirked. This was going to be more fun than expected.

But then Kanaya's defensive position slacked. She just stared at Nepeta in confusion as if she'd woken up from a bad dream. "Nepeta? What are you doing here?" She looked around herself in disgust. "What am I doing here? Am I . . . no longer intoxicated?"

Nepeta paused. She remembered that tone of voice vaguely at the back of her mind. What was she doing? Why couldn't she think straight?

"What's going on here?" Asked Terezi, walking into the room, swords drawn as she sniffed out Nepeta, who was frozen in the middle of the room.

"Terezi?" Asked Kanaya. She squeezed her eyes shut. Here it came again. The flashes, the confusion that she tried so hard to block out.

Terezi knew exactly what was happening. Three people in a state of remembering all in one room? This couldn't be good.

Then the door opened and the room was filled with blinding multicolored flashes and a strange high pitched noise. When the barrage of stimulus subsided, the three mid bloods sat up slowly, disoriented. Terezi could smell Karkat, and Sollux, and . . . Dirk? In a troll costume?

"Did it work?" Asked Sollux.

"K-Karkitty?" Asked Nepeta slowly, rubbing her head. Her eyes widened suddenly. "Oh-oh no. I-I'm terribly sorry. I hurt you didn't I? And Kanaya . . ." She looked at Kanaya. "Oh no. I was going to kill you! I'm so sorry. I wasn't myself."

"I do not think any of us were." Said Kanaya, standing up and cringing at the outfit she was wearing, promptly kicking off her fuzzy slippers.

"But are we all ourselves now?" Asked Karkat, who's hair was still relentlessly bleached.

Terezi giggled. "Oh I am now Karkles, but I'll admit, though I feel pretty awkward now, being your kismesis did have its perks."

Karkat flushed pink. "D-don't be gross Terezi!" He pouted at her, pretending he wasn't embarrassed. "So what's the plan now Strider?"

"These are memory flashers." Explained Dirk, holding up two small silver devices. "We made them from stolen technology from the touchup machines. It was . . . surprisingly easy, but it worked. I'll take one and use it on the humans. You guys take the other one and get the rest."

Roxy had been worried for Dirk when he just up and disappeared last night, but when she got home, she found him asleep in his bed. She was going to give him an earful about playing hooky once he woke up. That was when she found the letter on the counter, with "For Roxy" written on it in neat handwriting. She figured it must have been from Dirk, so she opened it.

Suddenly, there was a bright flash, and she swayed as she was hit with a surge of picture and emotion. Her head spun, she began to feel dizzy. She knew in that instant that she was remembering. Porcelain and pink cats overwhelmed her senses, and she managed to make it to the couch before she lost consciousness.

(*Authors Note: Well everyone, this came on a little fast, but the next update will be the finale! I'm trying to scale back on Homestuck fanfics because it has passed out of my current interest, but there will be a handful in the future here and there. I'm not very practiced at writing endings, but I hope you enjoy the finale. Thank you all so much for reading and following!*)
