(NO POV.)

Once again the leaguers that stayed in Jump found themselves in the same situation as before.

They were once again standing in the league jet, having a meeting about the mysterious teen hero, Nightwing.

When Flash had said he talked to two of the titans about Nightwing the leagues spirits had rose, thinking that he had gotten something about the young hero out of his team mates. But their hopes were quickly extinguished when the scarlet speedster looked around disappointed and said that even his team mates knew nothing of his past.

This knowledge made the leaguers even more wary of the teen vigilante. The boy obviously had something huge to hide if not even his team knew his back story.

Superman all of a sudden turned to Batman.

"You know what you need to do."

Batman regarded him coolly, directing a batglare straight at him.

"Don't talk to me about talking to my protégés when you ignored your own for a good year."

Superman, Flash and Green Arrow all visibly flinched at his cold voice. Green Arrow tried to defend Superman's solution with some of his own logic.

"Come on Bats, they are the ones that spend the most time with him, alongside Zatanna and I really don't want to ask her about him. Just do it to protect our kids, your kids. None of us can lose another partner," GA then added in a very quiet voice, "especially you."

Batman's glare turned even colder. Apparently Green Arrow hadn't said that quiet enough and Batman heard him. But even he had to admit that both Superman and Green Arrow had a point and that he would have to talk to his two protégés soon.

Batman looked around and soften his glare only a little before answering in an even colder voice, "I'll ask them what they know and why they are spending so much time with him, that's it."

The rest of the leaguers all were pretty relieved that he finally agreed so they felt that the meeting was done. They all left the ship to do their own things, leaving Batman to go into his jet and wait for Robin and Batgirl to come back.

NIGHTWING'S POV. (Set during the previously mentioned league meeting)

We had all noticed that the league had been discreetly asking questions about what the titans knew of my past. Well the were trying to be discreet, didn't mean they were succeeding.

The only leaguer who hasn't asked about me was Batman, which made me even more nervous.

About ten minutes ago all the leaguers went up to the roof, where the helipad housing their jet was located. We all knew that they were having a meeting about us, more importantly me, so we decided to use our time wisely and have a meeting too. A meeting about what is gonna happen after the week is up. It had already been about 2 days since the league got here, meaning only five more days with the team. We needed to figure out what happens after they leave.

We were all currently gathered in the back of the evidence room, everyone except robin, even Batgirl. We had agreed that since we all knew my past except for Robin we wouldn't reveal it to him.

I cleared my throat to get the attention of everyone.

"OK, we need to clarify what happens after the week is up."

Everyone's eyes went to me, while my gaze shifted over to batgirl.

"Batgirl, you have to keep us off of Bat's radar. We can't risk him finding anything out. And make sure Robin doesn't know anything either please."

She slowly nodded at me and I found myself comforted that she would be the one handling Batman.

Wally all of a sudden burst out, "OK, WHAT HAPPENS ONCE WE LEAVE? I don't want to loose you again Rob, I mean Nightwing."

I chose not to yell at him about the name slip up right now, considering there were more important things to discuss.

For once I actually had no idea how to answer that question. I had been planning to tell them that I guess we couldn't associate anymore because the league was so wary of me, but now it was painfully obvious there was no way the were going to let me go again.

" I guess maybe we could ask the league if you guess could visit us once in a while or something."

Everyone seemed pretty OK with this plan and the meeting was finished pretty quickly.

Slowly everyone left the room to do their own things, everyone one except Zee.

She came up to me with a sad look on her face.

" You really want us to only visit you sometimes. God, Nightwing, we just found you. We are gonna miss you so bad," She then added quieter, "I am gonna miss you."

"Hey, Zee, I am going to miss you so much, too. But can we just take comfort in knowing that the other is still alive and is waiting for us. I wish there was some way around this but I can't have the league on to me. I really will miss you though."

I leant in and gave her a chaste kiss right before she turned and walked out of the room.

God, I really did love that girl.

BATGIRL POV.

After the meeting I went and got Robin , he was right where I left him, in the living room playing video games.

Me and him walked up to where the black bat jet was resting in silence. We figured Batman wanted us to check in with him so we thought we would get that out of the way.

Once we got there we found Batman sitting waiting for us.

"We need to talk. I need to know why you two are spending so much time with Nightwing."

Both of us stopped in shock of his bluntness. Robin shot me a look pretty much saying that he didn't know why he was hanging out with Nightwing. Robin was really just hanging around me and I was around Nightwing. Though Robin and Nightwing had formed an almost brotherly bond which kinda made sense, they were in the brotherhood of the Robins which is something me and Dick made up.

I looked back a Batman who was looking at us with a kind of fatherly look on his face that I hadn't seen since Jason died.

"Um, well Bruce he just kinda seemed uncomfortable with the league here, and he is only 14 I figured being nice to him wouldn't be a bad idea. After a little while we found out he was really nice."

Bats looked a little taken back, which by batmans standards means his mouth twitched, by what I said, but after Robin nodded alongside me he visibly relaxed.

"I just want you two to be on your guard. There is something off about that kid." He then looked at me "and Barbara watch out for Tim."

Both of us, happy that he didn't ask any further questions left the ship talking about what we were gonna do the rest of the day.

(No POV.)

After Batgirl and Robin walked out of the jet, Superman walked in.

"Hey Batman, I heard what you talked about with them. Do you really believe that that is the only reason they are hanging out with him?"

Batman looked over at him with a cold look on his face, " I believe that Robin is just hanging around Batgirl, but , no, I don't believe that is her only reason for being around him."

(UNKNOWN POV.)

He looked over all of his plans. Everything was falling into place. He had the living quarters together and he had a new apprentice suit made and Wintergreen had contacted any supervillains that the titans had fought for the distraction.

By the end of the day tomorrow he would control the league, titans and anyone else who could stop him.
