I'm not even going to begin to explain why I have not updated this because honestly I have had this chappie outlined for like a week and just was too lazy to actually write this, so, onto the story!

All the heroes that were present in Jump city looked around, taking in the scene of over fifteen villains laying on the ground, either knocked out cold or struggling to escape from some type of bond.
They realized the damage to the city was not actually that bad, including only a couple smashed cars and few floods due to knocked open fire hydrants.
The titans and team were taking stock of injuries while the Justice league members present were doing a head count. It was in that moment that they realized something really bad must have happened during the fight.
Because Robin was gone.

(NIGHTWING'S POV.)
After the battle we all went back to the tower. I think we all realized at one point or another on the ride back that robin's location was not known to the leaguers.
Maybe that was why the second we got back to the tower they called a meeting.
We all sat silent in the living room while we waited for one of the adults to speak but we were met with silence.
.
Batman was silently glaring at me with distrust, big surprise there, while Green Arrow and the Flash talked in hushed whispers off to the side. Superman was just pacing back and forth trying to figure something out by the look on his face.
Suddenly Batman stood up and growled out, "How about we get right to the point do any of you know where or what happened to Robin?"
The question was asked to everyone, but I knew it was secretly directed at me. Anyone could tell by the way he shot a glare at me while he asked it.
Suddenly I felt really fed up with the distrust the league felt towards me. I was sick of them trying to blame everything on me and making me out to be a bad guy.
Maybe that's why I finally spoke up.
"You say that we are gonna get straight to the point but you still are beating around the bush, Bats! How bout you just straight out ask me? We all know the real question is, Nightwing, what did you do to Robin!? Here's the answer, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO THE KID! I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE HE IS, SO, STOP TRYING TO BLAME ME!"
I didn't realized I was yelling until the end. Everyone was looking at me in shock, but Batman expression just grew into a more fierce glare.
I sat down, ashamed for not being able to lock up my feelings again.
I got up and walked over to the computer, talking in the calmest voice I could muster.
"I know you won't believe me, but I think I know who took him. His name is Slade Wilson, Batman, you might know him as deathstroke."
The titans just groaned at me, cyborg going as far as saying my name warningly.
"I get it, you guys think I always try to blame him, but I have reason behind this one. Think about it. Who has all the resources to hire every villain in the city just to create a distraction? Who was one of the only villains not seen or fought in the disaster downtown? Who is the one always in need of an apprentice because everyone he gets is either forced into it or a biased kid of his?"
Beast Boy looked at me skeptically, "Nightwing, we didn't see Red X in that fight either."
I just looked at him before adding, "Red X was there, I talked to him on the rooftop of the bank, he was the one who told me Robin was gonna be taken."
GA looked at me in shock, "If he told you he was gonna be taken, how do we know that this Red X character didn't take him and told you so he could get a challenge out of us? Why do you trust him?"
I looked around, "Listen, Red X is not a bad guy, just mislead OK?" When I said that I shot a glare at Batman because it was his fault Red X was even a villain now, "You guys don't want to believe me right now, but there is a lead with Slade. You guys can work on the computer and use any data we have to search for Robin, but I say start with Slade."
After that little speech I went out to see if I could find Jason to see if he knew anything else. But as I walked out I still heard Flash whisper to Green Arrow, "I still don't trust him."

(Batgirls POV.)
After Nightwing left I felt the mental link enter my mind and started hearing the team arguing about something, I ignored them until I heard Conner ask, "What if Nightwing did do something to Robin?"
That put me over the edge and I silenced everyone by sending threatening feelings over the link and told them all to meet on the roof.
Once we got there I didn't even have the chance to yell at them before Kaldur was speaking in that annoyingly calm voice of his.
"Before anyone starts yelling how about we try to be rational about this and just discuss our current situation?"
He looked around as we all nodded in agreement before adding, "Now, Conner, why would you think Nightwing did something to Robin?"
Conner looked around sheepishly before saying, "I don't know, don't tell me you didn't think he might have done something out of jealousy?"
Before Kaldur could start his whole calm shpeel I made sure I got in what I had to say before I just outright left this useless meeting.
"OK, I want all of you to listen to me. Nightwing would never do something out of jealousy, especially towards Robin. He considers them brothers. So next time you want to accuse him of something, get your facts straight."
Then I sent them all the most powerful batglare I could muster before stomping away.
I had to go wait for Nightwing to get back.

(known pov.)
Slade looked down into the security camera seeing the feed of the young vigilante in a containment pod.
He smile behind his two toned mask before chuckling darkly.
"Hello, Apprentice."

A.n. sorry for taking so long, I think my phone is possessed because as I was typing this it kept deleting and adding words on its own accord and it was really frustrating. Oh yeah and in this story red x is Jason, sorry if that wasn't clear. R&R.
