What if instead of my story being on a sticky note: but the story consisted of what was written on a sticky note (and where it's placed).
Her POV
I made sure I'd leave the light on in my bedroom, I wanted him to read the words I couldn't full say. I hope he understands the intent behind my note, but maybe I should have written it a longer one instead of on a sticky note. Oh well, it's too late now, I can feel the tingles on the back of my neck which a key indicator that he's in the vicinity.
His POV
I walk into her place, like any ten year old in this neighborhood can do, my concern over her safety is one reason why I come here in the middle of the night like I do. Another reason is that I am unbelievably drawn to her. As cheesy as it is, she is the light in my dark world, in the night when things and time get even darker I need her, just her.
I think maybe she's awake, there is a light on in her room. I slowly make my way in, never know what I maybe interrupting… Maybe this day could end on a up swing.
I make it into her room, the light that was on over the chair that I usually sit in with a yellow sticky note on the seat.
"Ranger, I know you're here. Stop being dramatic and just get into this bed with me. You know it's where you belong. -Babe"
Now how can I argue with what all of me wants, I get undressed and into bed with her. After I pull her into my arms, she snuggles in lets out a sigh and says " 'bout time." I couldn't agree with her more.
