Kyrie awoke with a start sitting up straight. Her head bashed into something hard causing her to yell and fall back down. Her head was cushioned with a soft material as her hands shot out bumping into the softest fabric she had ever felt. The lid for the casket she lay in shot open nearly blowing off it's hinge. She sat up straight as a shot jumping out of the coffin.
She stared at the outside of it. The color was unlike she had ever seen before, a soft purple, and appeared to be made of metal. Her head whipped around her surroundings to be met with stone walls. Wooden beams crossed above her head and stood as posts to support an upper level.
She looked down at the floor staring at her bare feet curiously. The nails on her toes were a bright blue color as well as on her fingers. The clothes she wore we're strange as well. The trousers came down to her mid calf and were a heavy faded blue material. Her shirt only came to her mid drift and and had no sleeves, it was only supported by straps.
Kyrie shook her head quickly alarmed at the fact that her long hair was now cut shoulder length and hung at the sides of her head in two ponytails. Fear overtook her soon giving way to panic as she realized that she hadn't a clue as to where her maker or progeny were. She closed her eyes summoning Godric only to be met with a cold empty feeling and what felt like a severed thread. Her eyes shot open as she tried again receiving nothing but a void.
Startled and shaking she called out to Eric praying that for once he would listen to her and come if he could. No sooner did she send out the call was Eric standing before her. Kyrie brought a hand to her mouth. Erics long hair was cut short and slicked back. He was clean shaven and wearing a black shirt that accentuated his muscles underneath. His pants were black as well and made of the same material as Kyries.
"What is it Kyrie." Eric asked somewhat haughtily.
"Eric?" She asked cautiously.
"Kyrie I have business that I am attempting to attend to. What is it?"' Eric questioned as if he were in a hurry.
"What is this place? Where are we? Where is Godric?" She asked quickly. Erics aggravated look took one of deep concern.
"Moder...Godric met the sun over a year ago now. In Dallas." He replied slowly.
"What? What's a Dallas?" Kyrie screeched out. She shook her head quickly backing up into the casket she woke up in. "This place isn't right, it's not right!"
"Moder." Eric said rushing towards her to grab her. She began to fight with him but found that she had no strength. His arms wrapped around her as she fell into darkness.
Kyrie sat up straight screaming. In an instant she felt arms envelop her, strong arms that had held her since she had been turned into a vampire and every night since.
"Godric." She croaked out leaning into her maker.
"What is wrong Moder?" Eric asked quickly sitting up.
"It is nothing Eric, rest." Godric said simply. With out another word Eric laid back down in the straw they were resting in. Godric laid his progeny back down holding onto her tightly. Kyrie felt as if she were drifting in a haze of panic and pain.
"I am sorry Kyrie for what happened with the authority. I'm even more sorry for what we will have to endure from here on." Godric said.
"Godric, my Godric...I dreamt I was in a strange place, Eric was there but it was wrong, everything was all wrong. He told me you had met the sun." She said weakly. Godrics lips fell on hers with small quick kisses.
"Never, I will never leave you my Kyrie. Now rest. You're exhausted. In the evening we will feed and be gone from this place." He said. Kyrie closed her eyes with Godric still close to her and swore as she drifted away she could feel warm breath on her lips.
The trio traveled away from the place where the authority had found them. Even as the years passed however it always seemed as if they were being watched regardless of the distance they attempted to put between them.
In that time Eric began to wander more. He stayed out more frequently allowing Godric and Kyrie more time to themselves. While Eric opted to stay closer to the villages the elder pair resided in the wooded areas that they were more accustomed to. It bothered Kyrie to no end that Eric felt the urge to be in a large population but knew as time wore on she had to trust in her progeny more whether she liked it or not.
Kyrie sat in the middle of a brook letting the water slosh over her as it ran by. The rocks had been slippery forcing her to sit. She tilted her head back taking in a deep breath of night air. It was cool and refreshing. She reached up towards the sky stretching out allowing herself to completely relax. Her gaze shifted as she felt Godric next to her.
"There you are." He mused sitting on a rock next to her.
"You should join me." Kyrie replied softly splashing up some water at him. Godric smiled at her in his crooked way.
"Now why would I want to do that?" He asked feigning curiosity. Kyrie smirked back at him standing up. She untied her bodice allowing the top part of her dress to fall in the water. She took both of Godrics hands in hers staring into his eyes deeply. "Oh, that's why." Kyrie nodded her head slowly a few times.
In a flash Godric stood in front of her smirking the way that he did before placing his lips gently against hers. Kyrie wrapped her arms around his neck as Godric snaked his around her waist pulling her closer to him as they meshed together passionately.
Kyrie began to tug on him gently as she slid down his body making sure to feel every muscle on her way down. She laid back in the brook with the water washing over her body staring up at her maker. She watched as his eyes roamed over her body before he undid the leather belt that held his pants up. He let them fall around his ankles before kneeling in front of her. Quickly he pulled her skirts up around her waist with expertise that still astounded her.
She felt his fingers run along her inner thighs causing her to shiver noticeably. Godric let out a small chuckle as he dipped his fingers closer in rubbing his thumb along the small spot that led to the most pleasure as his fingers made their way into her. Kyrie let out a moan as her maker pushed into her while rubbing against her all in the same quick motions. Soon her screams turned to intense pleasure as it washed over her body completely. It felt as if she had flown up to the sky returning back to the ground just as fast.
Godric sat back on his haunches for a moment pleased with himself before climbing on top of Kyrie. She reached down guiding him into her arching her back when he sunk into her deeply. He wrapped his arms around her holding to him tightly as she wound her arms around his shoulders and her legs around his waist. Kyrie kissed along his neck and collarbone as he thrusted into her groaning as he did so.
Time was all but lost to them as they continued their love making well into the night. At some point Godrics motions came in flashed that a human wouldn't have been able to survive. Kyrie felt her back push and dig into the rocks cutting her in places but still her screams and moans fell from her lips as she felt Godric satisfy himself. He let out a ragged breath out of habit holding onto her in a near bone crushing embrace.
He let go of her with one arm allowing his hand to trail down her abdomen to rest against her stomach.
"Just once I wish my seed would plant itself inside you." He commented. Kyrie placed her hand on top of his.
"Is that how you would want to see me then? Fat with your child?" She joked. He met her eyes holding onto them with deep sincerity.
"Yes, yes it is?" He stated before standing back up. Kyrie watched him as he pulled his pants off throwing them onto the grassy embankment before climbing onto it. Kyrie stood as well searching for her top which was nowhere to be found. She followed after her maker and remained silent as he lit a fire hanging up his pants to dry them. He sat squatted on the ground resting his arms on his legs.
Kyrie watched as the flames danced around illuminating his pale skin giving it a healthier glow. Her eyes flickered over his tattoos even though she had every one of them memorized. "When I was a child I would watch the adults by the fire at night. The men would rest their heads against their womens swollen stomachs and listen to their children, feel their children as they slept in their mothers...I knew one day I would be a father with a woman by my side. I'd give anything to be able to give you that." He said.
Kyrie kneeled down across from him feeling the heat from the fire on her bare chest. She folded her hands in her lap smoothing out the soaking wet material of here skirt.
"We have Eric. He is our son." She stated. Godric met her gaze across the fire smirking at her in a sad way.
"Yes he is." He agreed and Kyrie knew that he was simply humoring her. Kyrie opened her mouth to give her rebuttal when a scream shattered the night around them. It was panicked and exhausted as if someone had been running for a long time.
Godric quickly put out the fire standing next to Kyrie. He grasped her hand in his bringing it to his lips for a moment smiling at her. Kyrie smiled back at him and in a flash they were gone to find the source of the sound.
They rested in a tree above the ground watching as a group of men chased a young girl through the wooded area. Soon she was surrounded by them. The girl was bloody and dirty from trying to escape them but also fatigued beyond reason. She fell to the ground hard and tried to crawl away only to be kicked in the rear, head, and arms as the men tightened their circle around her.
"What have I done wrong?" She screeched out desperately trying to get to her knees.
"Sorceress!" A man shouted out kicking her back to the ground.
"Witch!" Another yelled picking up a large rock and throwing it at her.
"I have done no wrong! I am a woman of God!" She screamed back at the angry men.
"No woman of God sinks a knife into her husbands heart as he sleeps in his own bed." A few men yelled in unison.
"He forced himself upon me, beat me...I had no choice." Kyrie felt her body tense painfully at the woman's words.
"We have to help her Kyrie." Godric said softly. Kyrie whipped her head away from the scene. She took into the way his eyes danced over this girl and saw his hands cinch into tight fists. She knew that he wanted to claim her.
"Yes, we do." She agreed. In the blink of a human eye Kyrie landed in the middle of the circle in front of the woman with her fangs bared. She had landed hunched down on the ground and stood slowly. As she did so Godric ran around the outside of the circle killing all of the men but one.
He dragged the man in front of her tossing him at her feet. Kyrie grabbed onto the girl gently picking her up off the ground.
"You would kill this girl for defending herself?" Kyrie demanded. The girl screamed as her eyes fell on Kyrie and then Godric. He held onto the man tightly by the neck squeezing as he squirmed. He opened his mouth to say something but Godric and already snapped his neck. The man fell as dead weight on the ground.
Kyrie retracted her fangs grabbing onto the girl by the hands. She held onto her firmly and before long the girl stopped struggling.
"Are you demons?" She whispered fearfully.
"Possibly." Kyrie replied. "I am Kyrie, this is Godric." The girls eyes went back and forth between the two of them as if weighing her options.
"I am Nora." She managed to whisper out. Kyrie smirked at the girl bringing her hand up to caress the girls cheek.
"Nora." She said lovingly. The girl moved her face away from her perturbed by her actions. "Let us give you eternity." Nora began to struggle again.
"No child, not in that way. We will make you like us. You will be our child and together we will travel the world." Godric said. Nora eyed him warily.
"Like you?" She questioned.
"Nora, I know what it's like to be told you have to marry a man. That you'll be expected to meet his needs and carry his children because it it what a woman does. Godric saved me from that fate nearly a millennia ago now and we have traveled across the lands and time since." Kyrie stated smiling at the girl.
"What do I have to do?" Nora asked her gaze leveling with Kyries. She smiled turning her gaze back to her maker. Godric walked over displaying his fangs to her. Kyrie dropped hers again as well. She watched as Nora reached out to Godric allowing her fingers to barely touch his fangs before jerking her hand back.
"It won't hurt. It will bring you peace and when you awake we will all be together Nora, for forever." He said easing her down to the ground. Nora's eyes went from Godric to Kyrie before settling.
"Forever is a very long time." She remarked. Kyrie smiled more broadly at the girl brushing her hair away from her face.
"My child, you have no idea." She stated sinking her fangs deeply into the her neck. Her blood was still sweet and full of youth. It reminded Kyrie of the tarts her mother would make for feasts or their birth days. It had always been a special treat as was this. Nora's breathing became ragged and was soon with in an inch of her human life.
Kyrie turned her eyes to her maker as if questioning him as he made ready to blue into his wrist. He stopped as he met her eyes.
"Ready to make our daughter?" He asked lovingly. Kyrie nodded her head once biting into her flesh the same as Godric. They both supported her head as she drank from them both. Her tongue licked at the gashed at first but before long she seized both of them with her hands and greedily sucked at the blood that she couldn't seem to get enough of. Soon her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she settled down.
Godric stood up in time to meet Eric as he appeared in front of them. His eyes were wide when he saw Kyrie with the girls head in her lap. She smiled up at her son sweetly.
"Come and help me dig Eric." He said. Kyrie wiped the blood from Nora's face the best that she could at the moment before just running her fingers against the girls cheek. She was young, perhaps younger than Kyrie had been at the time she was made.
She had cuddled with Eric before but only after he had been turned. It had been such a frenzy the night he was made she hadn't had the time to coddle her son the way she held onto Nora. She tilted her head to the side taking in the girls natural beauty. Her daughter was lovely, her skin was smooth and her hair was a pretty chocolate brown. She was everything she could hope for her daughter to be.
Her gaze moved up towards her maker and her progeny. It appeared they were done digging the grave and now stood together. Eric kneeled on the ground in front of Godric staring up at him with admiration and love. Godrics hands were rested on his shoulders as he spoke to him. Eric's eyes moved to where Kyrie sat and he nodded his head once before returning back to Godric. Godric smiled and nodded his head as well taking Eric into an embrace and kissing him on top of his head.
Eric stood and walked over to Kyrie taking Nora up in his arms. He reached down a hand to help Kyrie up which she accepted.
"Ready to rest mama?" He asked innocently. Kyrie nodded feeling tired suddenly. Godric reached out to Kyrie from the grave helping her down into it. Eric placed Nora in Godrics arms and watched as they both laid down with her in the ground. Godric supported the girls head while Kyrie rested against her shoulder wrapping around her arms around her waist. She closed her eyes and felt the earth fall upon them as they settled.
