Richard and Hyacinth walk slowly back to the hotel holding hands. Hyacinth wants to pick up a sweater and leave her purse in the room before she goes to walk on the beach. She sorts through the things in the closet that she hurriedly packed in her suitcase and doesn't find what she's looking for. "Richard, did you pack me a sweater by chance?"
"I'll check. I don't remember packing you one, but I may have." Richard searches the closet on his side and says, "I didn't pack you a sweater, but you can borrow one of mine if you like. You'll be warmer in one of mine anyway."
"That's sweet, Richard. Thank you, I will take you up on your offer." Hyacinth smiles at her husband.
Richard pulls a grey cardigan out of the closet and passes it to Hyacinth. Hyacinth pulls the sweater on and wraps it around herself. "This is lovely and cosy, Richard. I'll be back soon." Hyacinth kisses Richard's cheek before she leaves.
"Hyacinth, are you going to take that book with you?" Richard asks noting the package under his wife's arm.
"Oh, no, I'm not taking it with me. Feel free to read it while I'm gone. You might get some tips too." Hyacinth tosses the book on the bed.
"I'll wait for you. We'll have the experience together. Go for your walk and I'll see you later." Richard says gently.
Hyacinth smiles at her husband before she opens the door. "Hyacinth, take a key card with you in case I decide to go for a walk." Hyacinth picks up a key card from the dresser. She makes her way slowly down to the beach. She stands at the edge of the water and looks out to sea with Richard's sweater wrapped around her.
