"That my darling children is why I must apologize to you as well." Sebastian said kneeling in front of his children. Rachel placed her palms on her cheeks.

"Oh my, Daddy did not listen to mommy, now mommy is sad. Shame on you daddy. That was an unhappy thing. We are supposed to listen to mommy all the time."

"No, no sister, do not be mean to dad, we did not listen to mama either, we were supposed to stay at home and we did not." Evian reminded her.

"Dad, does mum still love you?"

"Of course I do."Ciel replied joining the group, the children rushed to him, their tiny hands wrapping around him.

"Just because we get angry sometimes doesn't mean we don't still love each other, getting angry is part of being a family. We have good times and some not so good times, but we're still a family."

"That is a happy thing mommy, I will cry forever if you stop loving my daddy or us, we are just babies and we need our mommy lots."Rachel sniffled.

"You'll always have me. I don't want you to worry about that."

"But you were fighting with dad." Vincent looked up into his mother's eyes sadly.

"No. We disagreed and we talked about it. That is the correct way to solve a problem, especially with your mate. You must work through such things together otherwise it will cause the marriage to be strained and the mates to be unhappy all the time, that is something I don't want for your mother. He is very precious to me." Sebastian explained.

"So Mum is not going to leave us?"

"Never." Ciel promised.

"And you will not leave my daddy?"

"No Rachel, everything's alright now." Sebastian moved closer to his mate, embracing him carefully.

"You've forgiven me then?"

"I'm still upset with you, but we can move on from it."

"Thank you dear one, I don't deserve such kindness."Sebastian began to nuzzle Ciel gently.

"Brothers, do you see, it I true, my mommy and daddy still love each other, mommy is getting cuddles, this is a happy thing!" Rachel exclaimed.

"We see it sister, Mommy and Dad are good." Vincent agreed.

After a moment, Ciel gently pressed his hand to Sebastian's chest as a sign to stop the affection.

"It's late, we have a long day tomorrow, the children need sleep." he said.

"Yes, you're right. Come along children, back to the room and get to bed." Sebastian instructed.

"But daddy, we love you."

"I love you too, that's exactly why I want you to go to sleep, so that you can be healthy and not sleepy tomorrow when we get there." Rachel raised her arms to her father, staring into his eyes.

"Can I please have up, I will like it lots?" Sebastian smiled and lifted his only daughter into his arms.

"Weeee, I am with daddy, will you please carry me to sleepy time?"Ciel watched his mate stand up with Rachel carefully. The child giggled as her father gently tickled her.

"You are so silly Daddy, I am happy you are my daddy." Rachel said snuggling into Sebastian,

"I am as well my little princess. Off to bed now." He said quietly, the children followed as Sebastian walked back to the room.

"Come on Mama, it is time for sleep, we cannot go to sleep without Mama hugs, will you please come too?" Evian asked grabbing hi mother's hand.

"I suppose I'll have to."

"Yes, because we will cry so much if you do not."

"I can't have that now can I?"

"No because it would not be a happy thing and you want us to have happy things." Ciel shook his head slowly as he was pulled along. His family never ceased to amaze him.

It was mid afternoon when the Michaelis family and their guard arrived in front of the massive building, statues lined the top of the building as the demons looked on in wonder, all but Sebastian who crossed his arms over his chest in annoyance.

"We are not tourists, we have a job to do." He reminded them.

"But it's so beautiful, yes it is." Mey-Rin whispered reaching out to touch the stone building.

"Honestly Mey-Rin,I can't have you breaking the museum too."Sebastian said dragging her away, The maid's face turned an embarrassed shade of red.

"A museum you say?" Ciel asked as the children moved closer to him.

"That's right, The Vatican Museum. It was founded by-"

"But, don't they hate...things like us?"Alois asked taking Luca's hand.

"No one really likes our kind, the relationship we hold with humans is for the most part strictly business. We needn't interact with anyone here, We just have to look for the stone and leave, no harm done."

"I heard the exorcise people here, it can get down right brutal." Bard commented as the group followed Sebastian through the city.

"Exorcise, I don't know if I like the sound of that, what do you suppose that means?" Mey-Rin asked. Sebastian stopped and turned to them.

"It means the religious figures force you to run laps around the city until you drop over." he said sarcastically.

"That's terrible, yes it is, how can they do that?" Sebastian glared at the servants.

"Clearly the sarcasm is lost to you, why must my staff be such idiots?"

"Does daddy mean it mommy, do they make tiny babies like us run too?" Rachel fretted.

"No Rachel, Daddy's just saying that."Ciel patted his daughter's head.

"That is good, my tiny baby legs will not do a good job."

"Mum, I don't like that person." Rowan said quietly, his eyes fixed on an alleyway.

"What person?" Ciel asked.

"The scary one, They're over there." Ciel turned to look in the direction but saw nothing.

"I don't see anyone Rowan."

"Maybe they are a scary ghost that will come and take us away from mommy and daddy. Please mommy, do not let it get us!"

"No one is ever going to take you away from us. I'm not going to allow that."Ciel promised.

"Even if they are scary?" Sebastian chuckled softly, overhearing the conversation.

"Dear ones, Your mother can be a million times scarier than anything that is foolish enough to try. I'm sure it was only someone passing by harmlessly." He assured them.

"Brothers, sister, Dad and Mama said it will be okay, I believe them, they are good and smart. Mama and dad know everything, do not worry." Evian added. The younger three children nodded but grabbed onto Ciel. The younger demon glanced at his mate with concern. Sebastian leaned down and kissed him

"I'll keep a close watch Love."He whispered in Ciel's ear.

"You had better, remember what I said."

"I do. fear not, everything is alright, we will both stay close to the children and I will make everyone aware of the situation, for all we know at this point in time, it could very well be nothing."

"When is it ever 'nothing' Sebastian?"

"Trust me Ciel,it is nothing." Sebastian said as they reached the door.

"Mama, I am afraid of this place. It feels funny." Evian whispered. "Can I please have up?" Ciel raised his eldest son into his arms.

"It's alright Evian, I've got you. It's just a new place, that's all." he felt his children tighten their grip on his jacket.

You'd better be right Sebastian. He thought, but with Evian's sudden behavior change, he knew the would have to be cautious.
