A/N1: For all those wondering, no, Harry will never get together with Morgana. I mean really, she's his mother for Pete's sake! Besides, there is no way I will do a pairing with that big an age difference, which also means I will never write a fic with Snape or Tommy Boy being with Harry... or anyone else in that age group.

A/N2: Thanks to everyone who reviewed, it's because of people like you that I keep writing. And in case anyone was wondering why I had Merlin the way he is, it's simple: Kilgharrah told him that Mordred would kill Arthur in the future, but he liked Mordred. But that warning didn't go away, how a child would grow up to kill Arthur, so he transferred the hatred he should have placed on Mordred on Geoffrey. I hope that clears it up a little, for all that it doesn't make it better.

A/N3: I know you are probably tired of Author notes, but here's another one: Harry/Geoffrey is 12 at this point in the fic. Things might have been stretched out in the Merlin period, but Harry had to be over starting Hogwarts age by the time he reappeared. otherwise people wouldn't be wondering where he was, seeing as he would have been there from the start.

A/N4: Last thing, Morgana will appear again, but it won't be for a while. And for everyone upset that I bashed Merlin earlier, don't worry, there'll be a nice surprise for you all in the future.

Warning: Harry/Geoffrey is now under the semi-dark alignment.

Last Time on Harry Potter and the Will of Magic:

Over 1000 years in the future, Morgause and Geoffrey fell in a pile of limbs onto a stone floor while a man wearing robes depicting stars and half-moons and twinkling eyes stood above them.

Now on with the show:

Albus Wulfric Percival Brian Dumbledore stood over the the pair as they lay on the floor, eyes twinkling merrily.

"Hello!" He said in his grandfatherly voice, not noticing that his audience was rolling their eyes and mentally gagging at the tone, "To Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. " He continued, and then he affixed his gaze onto Geoffrey, "And you must be Harry, it is good to see you safe and sound, my boy."

Geoffrey's eye twitched. "I am not this 'Hairy' of which you speak, and I would thank you not to insult me by calling me such a rude thing. " He spat, speaking with a curious accent that Dumbledore only heard from ghosts of the Early Medieval Period and portraits of the same era.

Dismissing the thought, he twinkled his eyes again at his recovered pawn and said jovially, "My boy, I am glad that I was able to find you. You have been missing for a very long time."

Eyes narrowed, Geoff was about to respond but Morgause put her hand on his shoulder to quiet him, reminding him of her presence. In a single fluid motion she got to her feet and assisted her sister's child as well before facing the obviously delusional man before them. Dumbledore looked confused at her presence, apparently just noticing her. He couldn't help the feeling that he had seen her somewhere before.

The Enchantress looked at the old man with cold eyes, and it took all he had not to flinch at their intensity, "I do not care what you thought to achieve by summoning my nephew, you old fool, but I expect you to reverse what you have done, as the consequences for not doing so will be quite dire for you."

The old Headmaster sweated nervously under her gaze, "W-well I am sure that something can b-be arranged, but it will take some time to gather everything necessary for a second ritual." For all that he was powerful, for some reason he felt like running for the hills with her attention focused on him.

Mentally shaking off the feeling, the ancient (relatively speaking) wizard let a smile appear again on his face, "But in the meantime, I hope you will make yourselves comfortable, perhaps even partake in schooling?" he added hopefully. For all his fears of the woman (who he still didn't know the name of), he still had plans for the boy and even if he needed to tweak them a little he would be damned before he let his martyr out of his sight again. The boy would die for The Greater Good™ and allow him to defeat Voldemort once and for all. And leave a weeping pregnant Ginny Weasley behind to inherit his fortune. There was no way he would lose his (unwilling) pawn again.

The castle was larger than expected, but thankfully Geoffrey had experience with such things and had no trouble navigating them through the winding corridors. Morgause as well was used to castles, but did not have the same familiarity as her nephew, so she had no trouble letting him lead. Better to follow a child and and find the exit then follow an adult and reach a dead end.

As it stood, the pair managed to find themselves in the Dungeons. Now, how they got there completely bypassing the Entrance Hall is unknown, but the fact remains. And so they looked in upon the room that, although unknown to them at the time, would eventually become Geoff's Potions classroom. Now, while the door had been locked when they found it, they had decided that this would be the room they would look in on, and so they did.

They walked in and looked around, curious about the room that appeared to be a classroom, if the multiple desks in the room was any indication. Geoffrey looked around with mild curiosity, having expected something a bit more, well, just more.

It was while they were poking around that Severus Snape walked out of his office and paused, not expecting company (what with the door being locked), least of all in the form of a blond woman and a dark-haired boy.

The dour Potions Master cleared his throat when they took no notice of his arrival. When they looked over at him, he quirked an eyebrow, "What are you doing in here? School doesn't start for another month."

The blond looked amused as she looked upon him, "If you require an explanation for our presence, take it up with your Headmaster."

Severus sighed, he should have known Albus had something to do with this. He turned his gaze upon the boy. He seemed to be older than a first-year but he (Snape) had never seen him before.

"Who are you, if I may ask? Hogwarts usually doesn't accept transfers."

The boy's lips curled into a sneer, his grey-green eyes narrowing dangerously, "Your little Headmaster decided that he had the right to pluck me from my home without asking and gave no promise of return beyond useless prattle that would better serve a pigsty than a dialogue between equals."

Pinching the bridge of his nose, Snape couldn't help but sigh. Albus always had a problem letting others live their lives their way when he could be in charge. "Ah. I should have known."

The blond witch looked upon the dour-faced man thoughtfully, "I can only assume that Dumbledore is known for such behavior, for to assume otherwise would imply that others do not scrutinize their own leaders, which is dangerous to do. For without the watching eyes, shaking hands will falter."

Startled by the philosophical statement, but showing nothing beyond the quirking of an eyebrow, Snape thought it over and found it to be true. No one had ever thought to hold Albus "Greater Good" Dumbledore accountable. The last attempt had been, what, 50 years ago? Far too long for one man to go without supervision. And with all the powers that the wizened man held, that could only go to his head, and he was sure it had. Especially if he remembered the fact that the Potter Brat was placed with Petunia Dursley of all people when she was a known magic-hater. And the kid disappeared not 3 years later!

"So," the Potions professor asked once again, "Who are you?"

The witch smirked, "You may call me Morgause Le Fay. And this is my nephew, Geoffrey Pendragon."

Severus gulped. He knew those names. They had been recorded during the waning days of King Uther and Arthur's few years as king as the half-sister of Morgana and the Dark Witch's sole child. Not much was known about the lad except that he was by Morgana's side during the early stages of her campaign for the throne of Camelot and that he along with the Enchantress had vanished into thin air, leaving the Dark Witch distraught. That they were here meant that Dumbledore had messed with time and that could only bode badly for the rest of the world. And that he had changed history to suit his own needs. It also explained how they got in so easily. A simple locked door wouldn't stop the

But there was one thing that confused him. "Why would the Headmaster want you here? You are the Sorceress who fought alongside Morgana and he her son. Why would he want you?"

It was the boy's turn to smirk, although he rolled his eyes after a moment, "That..."

The way he left it hanging prompted him to say, "Severus Snape."

The boy nodded, "Mr. Snape, known only to him. The first thing he does when he summons me is rudely call me hairy and that is simply not done in polite societies. I can only speculate that his mind has turned to senility as to encourage such behavior."

It was all Snape could do not to gape like a fool. Here before him stood the long-lost child of Lily and James Potter (however loath he was to put those two names together) and it turned out he was also the long-lost child of Morgana Pendragon herself! The fact that Vernon and Petunia Dursley had disappeared shortly after his vanishing only gave credence to their involvement.

That somehow the boy had managed to travel over 1000 years into the past and become a prince was so unbelievable that it could only happen to a Potter. James always had a way of making strange circumstances turn in his favor. Not to say that his murder wasn't strange, it was simply deadly, and fighting a Dark Lord without a wand is tantamount to suicide.

But now the dour professor had a reason for their being, and so after a moment's pause he sighed, "The Headmaster believes you to be Harry Potter, the only child of Lily and (he mentally gagged at saying this) James Potter, who is believed to have survived the killing curse when no one else has. The public caught wind of it somehow. I'm still not sure how they did so the day after the Dark Lord's fall, especially seeing as it happened late at night, and started calling him the Boy-Who-Lived." Seeing the expression on their faces, he stifled a laugh, "I know, it's not very imaginative, but when you start calling a Dark Lord You-Know-Who and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, you get the idea that originality doesn't work in the same sentence as the Wizarding World."

Shaking his head, Geoffrey rolled his eyes, only to get whacked upside the head, "I saw that, young man, and that is unbecoming of the heir to the throne."

Resisting the urge to rub the sore spot, as that would only invite another hit, the young Pendragon nodded, "Yes, Aunt Morgause." At her raised eyebrow, he hastened to assure her he was serious in his acquiescence, "I shall endeavor in the future to rein in any actions unbecoming of our family." When she lowered her hand, he looked at Severus and said, "For all that I might not be this "Hairy", I will say that such a position would be advantageous and will have no trouble exploiting it. The influence alone would be beneficial. However, I refuse to call myself the 'Boy-Who-Lived', my mother would be beside herself if she heard such a thing and I doubt even Merlin would have been okay with a hyphenated name." The way he said 'Merlin' sent chills down Snape's spine.

For all that the Boy-Who-Lived might be back, for all that Dumbledore was sure, and for all that the boy in question looked nothing like a Potter, this upcoming school year would surely prove to be the most trying of his career. As Snape had no doubt that these two would do all they could to return home and destroy what little sanity the Headmaster had left. He only hoped that he would survive the year intact. For when dark wizards roam, nightmares are sure to follow.

On the part about Morgause's last name: since it is unclear what her last name actually is, I took a bit of creative license and made it Le Fay, especially since it is also unclear who her ruddy father was. Merlin wiki only said her mother was Vivienne, and that her step-father was Gorlois. Not helpful. So I went through the original myth and saw that Gorlois was her actual father, and that his own ruddy last name was missing there too, so Le Fay it is.

So, tell me what you think. Until next time, guys! ^_^
