Chapter 28

Jacob's Pov

Listening to Jasper tell Scar that he remembered his past life with her and how they met, pissed me off. So I got up and left, I'm standing near the edge of the forest staring off into the dark wishing I could remember something, when the front door opens with a bang. I turn around to see what's going on. Scar's standing in the door way eyes glowing brighter than the sun.

She's pissed! What the fuck did that asshole do now? I watched her closely to see what she would do. She stands there a few seconds, then comes stomping toward me. I can hear her mumbling to herself, Peter steps out of the shadows and tries talking to her, but she ignores him and keeps coming my way.

When she gets to me I try to ask her what's going on but she growls and snaps at me. I'm not sure how anybody else would've took that but I took it as shut the fuck up and don't say shit. So that's what I do I shut up and don't say shit. She takes my hand and then we're standing on First Beach in La Push. Scar sighs lets me go and starts running down the beach. I go after her, when I'm in reach of her I grab her from behind around the waist. She starts kicking and yelling.

"Let me go Jacob!" I drop to my knees and hug her closer to me.

"Baby, calm down and tell me what's wrong!" She goes limp in my arms and starts to cry. Fuck! I stand taken her with me, I turn her to face me, then pick her up wrapping her legs around my waist. I sit back down on the beach and hold her while she cries. While she cries I whisper to her how much I love her and that I'm here for her. After awhile she stops crying I pull her back and look at her. Her face is stained with tears, her eyes are red and a little swollen. I have to bit my tongue to keep from letting out the growl building up with in me.

I swear I'm gonna beat that vampires ass! When I'm positive I've got it under control I try asking her again what's wrong.

"Scar honey I can't help unless you tell me what's wrong. I already know it has something to do with Jasper. What did he do?" She looks at me for a second then sighs.

"He crawled my ass about saving you and getting hurt!" I start to say something but she cuts me off.

"Don't ya dare agree with him! If ya do I'll kick yer ass!" I look at her kinda hurt.

"You wouldn't hurt me Scar." She nods.

"Yer right Jake I wouldn't, but I don't want to hear ya say ya agree with him. I get it I do it kills ya both to see me hurt and both of ya want to make sure it never happens, but don't ya understand it's the same for me with y'all. I can't stand by and watch one of ya get hurt or worse killed, knowing I could have stop it!"

"Scar, babe calm down. I do agree with Jasper..." She tries to cut me off but I put a finger against her lips to hush her.

"Let me finish. I do agree with him you know I do but I do understand so I won't give you grief about it anymore alright." She nods, then turns herself to face the water. She cuddles closer to me and lays her head back against my chest. I lay my head down on top of her and breathe in deep. Her scent washes over me like a warm blanket and I feel so at peace, so complete. Scar moves herself just alittle and looks up at me.

"Jake, are ya still angry that ya can't remember like Jasper did?" I think about her question for a few seconds then lean down and kiss her, when I pull back I smile at her.

"No, I'm more frustrated than anything."

"Oh" A wonderful idea pops in my head.

"Scar?"

"Hm?"

"I was wondering, do you think ya can do the same for me as you did for Jasper?"

"I don't know Jake I can try, let me think. I need something that will trigger one memory if I can do that it should bring all of it back, at least I hope it will." She goes into deep thought and I stay quite trying not to break her train of thought. A few minutes pass and I begin to give up on her finding a trigger, but then she jumps up yelling.

"I've got it!" I smile.

"Sweet, tell me!" She grins and pushes me to lay back in the sand, then straddles me. Damn!

"I want ya to close yer eyes Jacob." I nod and do it.

"Now concentrate and listen to my voice." I tune out everything and concentrate on listening to her. She begins to rub my chest and starts singing.

"Hush my baby don't you cry, I'll love you till I die. When we die we both will sing and fly together on an angel's wing." An onslaught of memories rush in on me and sit up gasping for air.

"Jacob are ya okay? Did it work?" I nod.

"It worked and I'm fine a little frazzled but I'm fine."

"So ya gonna tell me what ya remember or what?" I laugh

"Yes honey I 'm gonna tell ya." She huffs.

"Well go on!" I laugh at her again and kiss her forehead.

"Alright, how about I do like Jasper and tell ya how we met back then?" She grins and claps her hands together happily.

"My pack and I had been out running and enjoying the day. When I heard singing coming from the east of us. The voice was so hypnotizing I had to find out who it was coming from. I told my pack to wait were they where and that if I needed them I'd call, then took off running for the voice. It took me about ten minutes to arrive at a small cliff with a creek down below. I could still hear the voice but couldn't see anyone. I continued to look around, when I still couldn't find the source of the voice I decide to leave, but when I went to turn around I spotted someone coming out of the bushes from across the creek." I grin down at her then hug her tighter.

"I froze when I saw you, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I remember thinking you couldn't be real, someone as breath taking as you couldn't be real. I shook myself out of the hold ya had on me and made my slowly down the cliff, went around and without making any noise came up behind you. You knew I was behind ya tho, cause ya turned to look at me. The moment we locked eyes I was yours, ya owned me, I wanted to get closer to you I wanted to hold ya in my arms and kiss you till time ended, but I was scared of your reaction. You surprised me tho you didn't say a word, you smiled at me then walked over and started running your hands threw my fur and I loved it. You whispered for me to change back, so I ran behind a tree changed, put on some pants then came back to you. You stood staring at me for a few moments then leaned in and kissed me." Scar giggles and says.

"I remember when I pulled back you had the sappiest look on yer face, and when I told ya who I was and changed in front of ya, ya looked like a damn fish out of water." She starts laughing her ass off, so I bend down and lock my lips with hers and that shuts her up. She moans a little and deepens the kiss. I feel her hands move down my chest to my waist and undo my shorts. Shit! Scar pulls away and looks at me threw her lashes and whispers seductively.

"Make love to me Jacob." I growl, jump up and take off into the trees, just in case someone were to come by.

Four hours later:

Scar yells out her release then collapses on top of me. I stroke her hair for a few minutes coming down from my high, then roll us to our sides and pull her close to me. We lay there wrapped up in each other just enjoying the quite. I'm so engrossed in her I don't hear anybody sneaking up on us.

"Ew gross I just saw my baby sister necked!" I snap my head up to find, Emmett and Edward standing there grinning like fools at us.

"Do you mind!" Edward grins wider.

"No we don't mind at all." I growl at him and Scar giggles.

"Turn around dammit so we can get dressed!" They comply, when we're dressed I clear my throat.

"Y'all can turn around now." They do, then come over to us. Emmett's the first to strike.

"So what were y'all doing?" Scar coughs.

"Nothing much just talking." Both smile wide and Edward throws a arm over her shoulder.

"Talking uh? Does talking involve no clothes and all that moaning and groaning?" She slaps a hand to her face and growls.

"I'm going to kill the both of ya, if ya go back running yer mouths." Emmett laughs

"We wouldn't dream of doing that sissy." She glares at them, then turns and walks off. We catch up to her and I wrap my arms around her and stop her.

"Honey where are ya going?"

"Home." We laugh at her.

"Honey the house is that way." I say while pointing behind me. She huffs and mumbles under her breath. "Stupid wolves and vampires." Then heads in the direction of the house. Edward, Emmett and I catch up to her, the four of us laugh, talk and poke fun at each other the hole way back home. When we make it back she stops me and tells the others to go on in we'd be right behind them.

"Jacob I need to talk to Jasper about earlier and I need for you to wait downstairs alright." I nod.

"Okay, babe I'll be in the living room, if ya need me." She smiles then takes my hand and pulls me inside. We split at the bottom of the stairs. She goes up and I go to the living room. When I enter, the rest of the family are in there also. Edward has joined Carlisle in a game of chess. Bella and Esme are watching them play. Emmett and Peter are in the middle of a game on the x-box 360. Rose and Charlotte are sitting behind them smiling at their antics doing their nails. Alice is sitting on Shawn's lap reading a fashion magazine called Allure and Shawn is playing with Alice's hair.

I go over and sit down beside Emmett to watch him and Peter play. I hadn't been sitting down two seconds, when a scream of horrible pain comes from upstairs. I jump up and run upstairs with everyone behind me, when I reach the top Scar's staring into our room and shaking. I run over to her and just when I'm in reach she disappears. Jasper comes running out of the room pulling up his pants calling her name. Peter grabs him by the neck and shoves him into the wall and screams in his face.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" Jasper starts blubbering and crying. Peter slaps him and yells again.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" Jasper points at the room and I look in. Standing there in front of the window is the same woman that took on Jasper's form and attacked Scarlet. She starts laughing, waves then jumps out the window. It takes me a second or two to figure out what's going on and when I do I see red. I roar, turn around and lunge for Jasper.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU SLEPT WITH HER DIDN'T YOU!?" I hit him over and over till his face is cracked and venom is leaking out everywhere. He mumbles something I can't make out.

"What did you just say, leech!?"

"I didn't know, I thought she was Scarlet!' I growl

"BULLSHIT!" He whimpers.

"I swear I thought it was Scar, she looked and smelled just like her!' I bend down and look him right in the eyes.

"Remember what Peter said about hurting her so badly she breaks the bonds?" He gasps and starts crying harder.

"You better hope she forgives you and doesn't break our bonds cause if that happens I swear right here in front of god and everybody I will kill you!" I kick him in the gut then walk out heading to try and find Scar.
